AnonyNymous:thanks my brother. i am from the south east but i was born in plateau state like my grandfather. Lived thete all my life schooled in the north east. I force myself to believe probably our younger ones come on this forum to expression thier frustration at the sytem that has failed us all or probably untravelled people show there ignorance through stereotyping people. This omenka gives me cause for worry i had seen his picture a day he uploaded it on nairaland on a feb 14 asking us to rate him and his fiancee. To think someone old enough to want to get married thinks like this omenka i wonder whay kind of children he will raise because all our societal problems originate from the family unit. omenka go ahead and pour venom on me cos i know you are unintelligent and only resort to raining insults. but be guided the internet has made the world a small village. u bleeped up by putting up your face |

i feel sad with the way events are unfolding in Nigeria. The APC government had all the support and goodwill to get it right this time around. They would have won admireres instead of critics. If i may borrow a leaf from Reuben Abati's write up i think there a re demons in Aso rock. How did a government that was so promising just become visionless overnight. Nepotism, lack lustre attitude towards national issues, disconnect with common citizens, business as usual but not with impunity obtainable in the previous admisnitration is the order of the day. who will save Nigeria and when. I can't understand the rationale of engaging retired staff as contract staff in the civil service. Is it that we run a syatem where no mentorship exits? how are youbg school leavers supposed to get jobs if people that have served for over 35 years still jostle to come back. During the 2015 campaign i marveled at the thought pf we having a man with the intellect and academic prowess of Prof. Osibanjo but he has been relegated and probably possesed bu Rueben's purported demons in aso rock people just jump from one party to another and it is all about settling political croonies with sensitive positions like an ordinary national diploma holder on the board of NCC. we thought change was going to sweep through Nigeria but alas we are still far from uhuru |
this amounta to one of the highest cases of corruption. cant we just get thing right in this country evem after privatozation.in normal climes u distribute meters and factor it into your bills for a long period of time. your customers are not going anywhere as long as the building still stands. change my fair ass |
i just pray the government wont dump these children and leave them to suffer stigmatization and psychological trauma |
Onijagidijagan:Na so una no go mind una bizness always looking for trouble upandan |
she should wait in the other room i am coming ![]() |
when square pegs are put in round holes and nepotism is the other of the day there can never be excellence . We would never forget the buhari presidency no matter the amount of propaganda. a government that is working doesn't need propaganda rather their good works will resonante throughout the country. this government cant get it right unless there is a 180 degrees turn. the good thing God has done is to dimystify the last leader in the north that had cult followership |
how did we get here. Nigeria has become a joke where anything goes. for his supporters i give you thumbs up. i now understand the true meaning of cult followership. Well Hitler jad admirerers, Bashar Al'' Asad of syria and all disfunctional rulers have blind followers. i fear for Nigeria the cabal is there i blame people that gave Buhari power. he is still coming back after 2019 i tell u Nigerians. the cabal wont relinquish power but will soak nigerians in blood. i blame the west for falling for smooth talking leaders. they help to brijg these monsters to power and create problems in the long run. can anyone believe thia is the Buhari that was packaged in 2015? |
wow. i love brave people that can speak the truth no matter whose ox is gored. to tell ourselves the truth after 17months in government how has the life of the ordibary Nigerian imporved under this government? When i knew there is a disconnect somewhere i was at the airport last week and a notice has being placedas to an increasein ariff drom small.vehocles from 200 to 400 and i couldnt help but ask aloud are these morons at the helm of affiars in touch with reality? with the bitting hardship in the land the government is increasing taxes. and somebody has the guts to defend he government. |
i cant believe people are supporting this. Africa and Nigeria has gone beyond the era of strong men rather we should be thinking of how to biuild strong instutions . there is a laid down procedure on how to go about these matters. we need to ask what are the constitutional powers confered on the DSS. Are going back to those dark days like the Abacha era when u could not openely criticize the government? the President feels he is holier than thou and every thing must be done his way. If the executive arm of government is trying to muscle the other two arms of government then i think it is time nationalists and patroits start working. i blame Goodluck Jonathan that bungled up an opportunity to set things right in this country. Absolute power corrupts. i support the fught against corruption but it must be carried out within the ambits of the law. If the president feels he is the only messaiah that can save Nigeria then we should pray seriously about 2019 would not be |
i really dislik presidents that cant hold thier own always seeking endorsement and approval from the west. they are the ones that adviced we devalue our currency and privatize common wealth. unfortuntely we have a leader that jumps to the beck and call of the west now. Babangida tried it and we suffered dearly. Buhari is doing the same thing. he should pick a cue from countries like china, malaysia, indonesia and even japan than controls the value of its yen. but alas oldmen do jot take advice they feel they know it all and we are going to suffer for for very rash decisions this government is making. thier bad policies will cost so much damage that wwoupd be hard to fix after they get out of power. they live lavish lives and tell us they feel our pain. i wish the nigerian common man would see through our fake leaders, know power belongs to them and hold these old leaders accountable |
i am really fed up with this blame game. we need a clear cut policy direction. At times like this we shoild start feeling or seeing actions geared towards taking the country out of this present state of recession. each time i coke on this forum there is hardly any constructive critism or solution being proferred. it is either the youths are basing thier ethnic groups or it i APC against PDP. i never supported a Buhari presidency but i hope he suceeds if he is willing to carry the whole country along. instead of preaching and spreading hate i believe we should spread love and thia is where the APC supporters are doing a bad job. Governance if done right would not need unecessary PR even detractors would be forced to acknowledge the progress being made. this APC i no understand they still keep campaigning. can they just fvcking do the right thing and save us this whole drama |
when nepotism is at play this is what i obtainable. i saw the NOA DG saying crap lile this is part pf th functions of NOA. let the brigade enter the streets anf force discipline on Nigerians lets see. what the Bleep is a brigade? Discipline has to do with orientation of a people. when economies of greece, spain, and yhe rest were going through recession the news was flooded with palliatives and econonic measures being put in place that eventually saw these economies bouncing back. this government is visionless, very soon the price of fuel will go up from all indications from indepndent marketers, the level of insecurity in the country is unprecedented so i ask myself what was so special about buhari that APC packaged and sold to us? cant wait for 2019 |

MIKOLOWISKA:DID YOU JUST MENTION OIL PRICE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? IN 2003 GOOGLE HOW MUCH A BARREL OF OIL SOLD FOR AND DO YOUR ANALYSIS. OBASANJO WAS ABLE TO CREATE A MIDDLE CLASS WITH DAT OIL PRICE. IF THIS GOVERNMENT IS VISIONARY YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN AGGRESIVE PROGRAMS MEANT AT DIVERSIFYING THIS NATIONS ECONOMY. REMOVE UR OPOLO EYES FROM OIL. |
i still maintain my stance where their is no equity and justice there cant be peace and progress. BUHARI and his APc got it all wrong after the elections. they started out being vindictive instead of being nation builders. they toured the nation seeking votes but couldnt tour the nation after coming into power. they instead started playing divisionary politics. thinking they can just sideline the east and the south south. a responsible govrnment and great leader in the category of the Mandelas of this world would have thought of healing the nation. if you are prosecuting corrupt individials and organs no bias should be involved, appointments should cut through all regions of the country and we would have seen peace and properity in the land; but i suppose it is not yet uhuru for NIGERIA. lets forget the e warriors defending APC online here. the common man on the street has run out of patience with this government they cant seem to tackle the mirade of problems confronting the country presently |
nigerian youths abeg be constructive everything shouldnt be about.trying to pull ourselves down. i really think its time to restructure nigeria. this is a report of 2014 and some foo.ls are making reference to ugwu that was exported in 2016. if we dont harness the potentials of our seperate region we cant be great |
D government can't intimidate us make dem ask ASUU that they owed for 6 months. Hungry civil servants go fit betray sha |
Dmillionaire:I am Igbo but I cringe when I hear dimwits like you make such comments |
Omenka so you can mutter some gibberish without throwing insults? That's interesting. To the topic I think the good people of Benue should form vigilantes to defend themselves. They cant keep calling on the FG to come to thier aid. The fulanis have already told you guys why they murder you. I think the state government and people are not even giving these atrocities enough publicity just like what was happening in plateau state. Take a cue from Enugu and attacks in the south west as them carry the matter for head. Fulanis know say those areas na bad market |
jpphilips:And u just spoke like a reta.rd. This is a facility we operate everyday do u think it is operated by the Chinese or we Nigerians. Do u know a project they built worth half a billion naira is already falling apart and we keep altering their design to keep it running. If u are fond of spreading ur legs and talking nonsense I am out on the field bursting my arse on the job everyday so don't u come sermonising me on nairaland nonsense |
This government should be thinking of ways of adding value to the citizenry. How can people just sit at home and earn 5000 naira. This meagre sum will even be very inconsequential with the current value of the naira. What criteria would be used to select this poor ones in the society? How does N166.7 a day serve as a paliative measure against the astronomical rise in price of goods and services. I believe this said amount can be used to stimulate a particular section of the economy which eventually will go ahead to create more than 1million jobs. It could even b channeled towards skill acquisition programmes u just make a man dependent the more by going him fish instead of teaching him how to fish. A cue can be taken from the Easterners that pick someone from the village and train him in a skill or trade, provide him start up capital and make him an employer of labour also. Alas it isn't yet Uhuru for Nigeria |
Pls can someone explain to me how AEDC arrived at this estimated bill. After paying for a pre paid meter they now put you on a waiting list for 90 days. This is where corruption is abound. The EFCC should beam its search light on these criminals in the private sector. They come and disconnect your light when you are not at home it would seem like a fualt has developed, so you will call them to reconnect it at a fee. A house that ia sparesely furnished for now and we hardly get electricity for 3 hours a day. This country is truly fantastically corrupt. |

dongeorgio:I am telling u bro. And can u imagine how people have started making silly comments? The social media has made some youths really foolish |
