ivandragon: You are very correct, but rails are an essential component of industrial development.
In my opinion, the first focus should have been on building cargo rails to connect industrial centres/areas. That would have been more profitable, reduce the wear and tear of having large vehicles on the roads and improve road safety.
Also reduce cost of transportation thereby reflecting on price of commodities. Also, ease of doing business for many would be increased.
Tareq1105: You can easily be swung. You don't have the mind of your own. What has he said that makes you think he should be given appointment?
So Na u get my mind? You know nothing bro. If you know something, you won't be judging by what he said in this write up but his antecedents. Learn before you judge.

Nord Automobiles, led by founder and CEO Oluwatobi Ajayi, is a Lagos-based Nigerian automotive manufacturer, that offers a range of services from design to after-sales support for its Nigerian-branded vehicles
The man should give her a second chance. Only few women value their marriage more than their ego, n she is one of them. But she needs to work on her emotion, even from the video, she acts before she thinks.
ChatterHouse: I use to have cows that I gave my cousins to help me graze but last year I decided to buy a piece of land to start a Close grazing

NairaOcean: In a beautiful moment filled with pride and accomplishment, a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) presented her first monthly allowance, known as "alawee," to her parents. The event took place in their home, where the young Corp member, expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of her parents throughout her educational journey and now, during her national service.
With beaming smiles and eyes gleaming with pride, the parents watched as their daughter handed over the envelope containing her first alawee.
Anunakeeh: Travel around the country and see things for yourself.
90% of Nigerians don't even have up to #500,000 in their bank account.
Hmmmm..... You might be right but by the way, do you know that not having money in your bank account doesn't necessarily make you unsuccessful? Most investors don't have cash but assets. Back to our subject, most married people work harder than single people. Most businesses are own by married people and most top position are majorly occupied by married people, most Politicians(big cats) are married. So we might have to give a second view to your stand.
PrayWills: Our court wedding was supposed to be on Friday. I caught her telling a married man I love you and calling each other all sweet names. I confronted her and she said she was telling of proving to me she was faithful that I should draw whatever conclusions I wanted to.
I went to work on Monday and came back and told her I wanted to pause the weeding until we could sort our issues and she said we should call it off totally.
As we speak she has moved back to her mom’s house with the two kids, what do I do?
PS: she was raised by a single mom
Honestly, you need to find a way to move on. It is unfortunate and hard to do. Telling a man I love u ain't as bad as her moving out of your home without even throwing her out. It means a lot if you want peace in the future.
I love and enjoy my current state of bachelorhood and honestly I do not have the desire to get married now or in future because personally I have come to the realisation that men are living in a world today where there are too many impossible expectations to meet.
Recently, I have been noticing subtle hints of envy from my colleagues at work who are married just from the statements they make.
For example, they usually try to belittle me with statements like You're still a small boy, you don put woman for house? whenever we are having non heated argument over a topic that doesn't even concern marriage in anyway.
When it is their turn to work for some few hours on weekends they make statements like Men like us no suppose they do duty, na una (single men) suppose do am as if I don't have other affairs to attend to during the weekend.
So married men in the House, Do you people envy single men?
emkz: Rufai claims there were 57 active businesses that were impacted. Since he is now the mouthpiece of those businesses, can he list them?
As far as September 2023, talks began with HiTech on the project, where was Rufai Oseni? Why didn't he raise the alarm then, WHY NOW?
While raising the question about Landmark properties and alignment, Rufai Oseni refused to admit whether Landmark violated the right of way. He also did not state whether Landmark illegally utilized the asset in question. He also did not address the fact that only a marginal portion of Landmark was affected.
When the initial propaganda failed, they shifted to EIA and EISA. The Ministry of Environment already said they issued a waiver. But Rufai Oseni, who requested access to the audited books of someone's private enterprise, is not satisfied.
He also claims the owner of HiTech is Tinubu's personal friend. Does he want us to discuss his boss' personal friends and associates? Did they not give media protection to Emefiele, Okowa, PDP and Atiku? If they didn't, why were they hell bent on humiliating Tinubu with their boss even writing to accuse Tinubu of Noriega moment. If there was no personal or business interest for them, why did they take it so personal?
Then they accused the minister of staying in Eko Hotel and Suites; what has that got to do with anything?
On the surface, Rufai Oseni and Arise News have serious questions; but the questions are not balanced, because they have not asked Landmark questions. They have clearly taken a side and they are fighting for either personal or business interests. Yesterday, it became clear when they interviewed a former Commissioner of Police. The conversation was accusatory and not intermediatory. Answers provided by the government are never acceptable to them, but they believe everything the Landmark CEO says.
Rufai Oseni, you claim to fact check everything. Please fact-check whether Landmark rightfully owned that land and whether he was cleared to build there.
One more point to make: you claim there was no stakeholder engagement before demolition. David Umahi sat down in your studio to say that he met with the CEO of Landmark and that they adjusted their plans to spare his properties. You also asked why properties not previously marked for demolition and outside the right of way were demolished. As a journalist, you ought to be aware that notices of demolition were sent to all affected parties and they complied.
How come only Landmark is complaining?
What is Arise News/Rufai Oseni's personal/business interest here?
PS: When a former editor and a firmer executive director of PUNCH newspapers had a fight over one of them allegedly collecting millions of naira from corrupt politicians and businessmen to give them positive press coverage and kill negative stories, both of them were forced out of the media house. It became clear that some journalists used the media to promote personal and business interests. So if you see any media house seemingly pursuing or protecting someone's business interest, even at the expense of the public good, money is involved.
How come Channels TV, NTA, TVC or AIT are not fighting or protecting any interests? Why certain journalists from certain media houses?
Rufai Oseni asked to see the acvohnt statements of someone's private business. Can Rufai Oseni publish his own accpunt statements so we are convinced he did not receive a PR contract to use his platform to demarket the coastal road project
Are you paid to write this long against someone trying to enlighten the fg and the public in general?
goshee: What about Ganduje who was caught on camera stealing? When is EFCC going for him sir?
It is wrong to condemn justice because justice was not served to another person. Better thing to do rather than condemn is asked for justice for Kano too.
EreluRoz: I have been saying this thing that Femi Gbajabiamila and Faleke are behind the witchunting going on in our party, Faleke is using Gbajabiamila and their efcc puppet chairman to hunt people they dislike. What power did Gbajabiamila and Faleke have to be witchunting people who made sure asiwaju becomes president? Who is Gbajabiamila and Faleke in the scheme of things? I hope asiwaju will stop all these rubbish before this Gbajabiamila and Faleke destroy our party. They were just privileged to be close to asiwaju but they have no weight, they are paper weight politicians. According to what I heard by some important people, hmmm I hope asiwaju is still interested in second term kos he's killing it already. Elrufai is deadly and has a strong grip in the north. May Gbajabiamila and Faleke not destroy our party. Nonsense
Also I'm not feeling Remi Tinubu's impact as the first lady, as a woman you should watch over your husband's success and fiercely move against anyone that may try to bring him down with their reckless attitude. I trust patience Jonathan on this. Remi is weak. The two most outstanding first ladies Nigeria ever had are late Maryam Babangida and Patience Jonathan. Kudos to them
Don't dare argue with me, I eavesdrop in a lot of conversations by people that matters in the political scheme
There is nothing like witch-hunting a criminal. Is like saying seeking for justice against your enemy that committed a crime is equal to witch-hunting. If my enemy doesn't want to be witch-hunted, he shouldn't commit crimes make enemy no catch us. I am from Kogi (minority, same as Bello), Bello is guilty and we have waited this long for justice. We don't care what is between him n anybody. What we want is Justice n that we pray we get so stop being emotional or political about it please. You would hardly see kogite coming here to defend, only people that knows nothing the state went through that comes here to defend him using weak points.
AnonPoet: Questions have arisen regarding the qualifications of Ola Olukoyede to hold the position of Chairman at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to the stipulated requirements in the establishment of the EFCC, the Chairman must be a serving or retired member of any government security or law enforcement agency not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police or equivalent, and possess not less than 15 years cognate experience.
Investigations have revealed that Olukoyede, born on October 14, 1969, did not meet these prerequisites before his appointment. Despite this, he assumed the role of Executive Chairman of the EFCC, appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on October 12, 2023.
Before his tenure as EFCC Chairman, Olukoyede worked as a lawyer at a firm owned by former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo. He also served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman (2016–2018) and Secretary to the Commission (2018–2023). His nomination as Secretary to the EFCC in 2018 was made by the then-President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
During the announcement of Olukoyede's appointment, it was stated that he possessed 22 years of regulatory compliance consulting, fraud management, and business intelligence experience. However, questions persist regarding whether this experience aligns with the specific requirements outlined for the EFCC Chairman.
The requirements as contained in part 1 section 2 of the establishment reads, ""The Commission shall consist of the following members
(a) a chairman, who shall - (i) be the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer of the Commission. (ii) be a serving or retired member of any government security or law enforcement agency not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police or equivalent; and (iii) Possess not less than 15 years cognate experience."
Given these revelations, concerns have been raised about Olukoyede's suitability for the role, with some arguing that he lacks the necessary experience and competency required for such a critical position in combating economic and financial crimes.
It is now I know that Olukoyede is stepping on toes. Good work Olukoyede.
AnonPoet: Amidst the the ongoing EFCC saga and media onslaught against the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, a viral letter shows how the former Governor returned surplus funds to the world bank, to the tune of 4.6million US Dollars.
This amongst other reasons earned the former governor accolades allowing other states opportunities to benefit.
Recall the world bank had on numerous occasions awarded Kogi as number one in multiple awards for transparency and fiscal responsibility.
The question now is, if the governor was this transparent with public funds, what then must have resulted in EFCC’s pursuit and media trial, leaving out other governors who have been previously accused? The personal focus and attack on Yahaya Bello may have a political undertone and an agenda yet to he revealed.
Read the letter the World Bank wrote him below;
July 14 2021 His Excellency Mr. Yahaya Adoza Bello Exccutive Governor of Kogi State Office of the Governor Government House Lokoja, Kogi State
Go and sit down my friend. Every time a corrupt politicians is being prosecuted they pay u guys to write rubbish.
Nothing can justify a crime. If u don't want to hunted by politicians, try n be clean too. Stop shouting wolf...wolf... After committing crime.
Why is it that most government office use dormant phone number online. I think is very wrong and should also be counted as unprofessionalism right under the nose of who ever heads that office.
Where were these CSO when he was syphoning state fund? Now they are defending another people's state. They should go to the state and say this in a free bar n see what would happen to them.
