Jennyclay:Both school and parents should be blamed for such moral decadence. Pre-teens have always been familiar with sexuality since time immemorial so, it would be tantamount to ignorance to think a 10y/o is oblivious of that topic and not give them the appropriate education about the it, at that stage of their lives. Then, when I was in primary school, I knew the things I read in the rest-room. Not to speak of the times we're in, where kids have free access to the internet. There's only much you could do as a parent, because when they meet with their peers at school, it's a congregation where different topics are discussed. As a parent, the fact that you pay a certain amount to a school doesn't give you the license to absolve yourself of parenting. You have no right to. If you wouldn't let your kids be disciplined at school, do it at home and make sure to do it adequately. And I'm not speaking of being all physical here because trust me, that does no good in the long term. Some people would say, 'pikin wen go spoil, go spoil'... But I say, if you make sure to discipline/groom a child the right way, e get some kind spoil wen that pikin no fit ever spoil. If you neglect a child, you're simply setting them up for misfortune. Do not do it. I'm speaking of both male and female child. |
Janina:This isn't about you loving your parents and not wanting to break their hearts.. Be very logical and sincere with yourself, what exactly do you need a boyfriend for, at this very stage of your life. It's a different thing if you're really ready for marriage... you're even not, in the realest sense of it. So, why do you think you need a boyfriend? come up with just two valid reasons....(and I'm certain the best you'll come up with is 'having someone to talk to') plus every other feeble ones you'll invent. At 20, I believe you know what a 'boyfriend' is. Or you're getting hit by pressure from your peers. |
julybaba:There's this book, Atlantic Writing Method or something, you should still be able to get it in bookstores. When you do, get the child to go through all the pages and try to imitate the writings in there as perfectly as possible. If you must hold the hands, please do. It'll take a while but let him/her be consistent. With time, the handwriting shouldn't be an eyesore anymore. Get a 2D or 2B notebook for practice as well. The point here is to Practice. |
pencilee:It's a fungal infection... What have you been treating it with since it's been there for a very long time.. You need something to kill off the fungi. Check any Pharmacy around for 'Lamisil', if it's not in stock, you can do 'Clotrimazole'...whatever brand you can afford should get the job done Also, try to keep your feet dry.

Hmm...sleep paralysis. I would never forget my first experience. 'twas the scariest I've ever had. Came back home from a paper for SSCE, put small rice for fire then decided to lay down and rest, but I slept off. Time to wake up but I couldn't get up. Mentally I was awake but, I kept struggling to get up, I tried to turn to my side but it felt as though I was being pushed back down, not forcefully, I just felt that pressure. In my head I was screaming seriously but there was no sound, my voice had seized. When I thought I saw a very dark image hovering above. I just kept praying someone would come in and touch me cos I thought I wasn't going to survive that episode. I just kept repeating in my head that-my brother would come in soon- over and over... don't know how long it took but eventually he did come, he called my name but I heard it very loud and immediately I flew up.. went straight to kitchen to save whatever was left of my rice, even the small egg I put in it got burnt to half.. ..Since then, I've had series of episodes but I know better than to fight it. Whatever I see during the process isn't real. I just stay still and let it run it's course because it's a harmless natural phenomenon and it would pass, give or take 5 minutes. Sleep paralysis mostly happens when you sleep face up. So, I try to sleep on my side but, I still would love to have a peaceful sleep lying on my back. |
Two questions.. 1. Did your contract not state consequences for not meeting up with deadline and for each day they fail to deliver.. 3 weeks from the 5th October should be 24th October, here we are on 30th November. Over a month already. You both have been on a back-and-forth?? What terms did your contract hold for delays. 2. Does your agreement state that the contract can be terminated by either party without formal notice. If not, that's another offense on their part. Get your lawyer. Review the contract. Sue accordingly. When next you're designing a contract, be thorough, include consequences for shortfalls and be very point-blank. |
donbachi:You're wrong. Why do you want to mislead him. @Unfathomable12, you'll do well to take your lab results to a pharmacy. From the report, you've been infected with a bacteria that is resistant to amoxicillin, ampiclox, cefuroxime- meaning either of these wouldn't be effective. The best would be either cipro or gentamicin Consult a pharmacist. |
jecintha931:Sent you a mail. |
pocohantas:Thanks. Please check the YIM box in my profile. |
pocohantas:You're right but, I just decided to give it a shot. Number/e-mail, which do I drop so you see what I have to ask you? |
Pocohantas. Please, I'll like you to help me with something (it's not monetary). How do I reach you besides using the PM. I forgot the password of the email attached to my account. |

If the lady is like this with your kid sister, you can imagine what it'll be like having your male siblings around (if you have any). Let's not even talk about your mother. Treat this matter as urgent, make e nor go tie george. |
All these camouflaging insects and animals..nawa for una o The day I tried to "see" a chameleon was the most frustrating day of my life. I was looking at the thing but I couldn't see it. It blended so well with the cage. See me dey shine eye like thief on top say I wan see chameleon. |
Vecto:Hyenas can be more annoying, I watched a time when they(a cackle of about 9) literally frustrated a lion to the point where he just left them the game. ![]() *with that their yeye laughther or whatever mischievous sound that is.* |
Perceptor:Exactly, they go by different names depending on geographical location but they're all the same cat. Some people call it Panther. |
dayveed1:A Jaguar and Leopard both have rosettes but, a Jaguar's rosettes have spots in them. Go check again, you'll see. |
HenryDion:Exactly. You can't just waltz into people's lives like that. You never cared from the beginning, why care now. Mr OP, simply tell her all truth about her birth and the father. Let her decide if she want's to be with/see him. She fared well without his presence all these years, nothing will change. |
missjo:Exactly the same thing I thought - trying to get back at the child severally. Very good thing he hasn't been constricted before the father got there. Super Brave Father. |
Ishilove:Yeah, I get you. The creation is definitely unique but not too pleasant really. They try. |
Na soldiers thing dey always different sha. That one made out of glass is so cool. |
Did you just notice the three pairs of earrings and the nose piercing? That aside, is there anything wrong with wearing three bracelets?. Those things can be taken off. I seriously wonder how some of you have issues with such petty things. |
This one is not really straight up horror, but if you're a fan of gory movies you should see THE NIGHT COMES FOR US (2018). It's Indonesian. Very gory. |
Spirituality should not rob anyone of common sense please. @Bhami.....In summary: Appendicitis -medical emergency- requires prompt surgery. Read up.

There's this statement that goes 'listen clearly to what someone tells you in anger, they've been dying to say it'..something like that. I bet your wife wouldn't trust you as much again, and word's like the one you uttered isn't something to overlook at all. Everytime she looks at you she just sees the face of someone who did not really want to be with her. She has options to forgive, forget, and trust. The first is possible, where the problem lies is 2 and 3. Don't know how you'll fix that. Even if you had not made the statement that day, I think you'll have said it some other time. You've always had this in mind. The tongue and brain aren't in sync all the time, that's the reason people utter words they shouldn't. |
Alphaman007:Seriously, i wonder why people argue this. If SIZE or STRENGTH mattered, the Elephant or Tiger should receive the award. Social structure and Dominance are the only plausible reasons to term the Lion " king". Period. |
EVILFOREST:And you let people force you to do that which you do not want to?. I doubt you have one of the three attributes listed. If the bride wasn't forced into marriage, then she has a straight face- some people are like this. |
HolyTitus:LOL...you know some people can be very silly. Someone's trying so hard to cool off, and you're pulling them back by their pants. Wetin you want may e happen? Anything you see, you take, abeg. |
obembet:You tap on the 'End' key . Okay, if you can't do this, you tell the caller to after saying something like " Can we have this conversion some other time?" or anything - just make it clear to them that you're not into the convo. They should reason, if not, you already know what to do. I'm sure that didn't 'sound' rude. |
Apparently you forgot something called genetic predisposition to cancer( hereditary cancer ) and there's absolutely nothing much you can do to prevent such. Just wait for it. Instructive post nonetheless |
@ LegitGirl. It's okay, it happened already, just get over the whole incidence. Save this experience for when next you go shopping, sure you know what to do. |
@ LegitGirl The event CCTV would have captured was you putting those items into your own bag with your hand and nothing else, absent-minded or not( Security Camera isn't a mind reader and cannot detect Intent). So you asking for a replay of the recording would be like implicating yourself. The Attendant probably thought you really intended to walk off with the items, since you weren't paying attention to your bag, so s/he didn't call your attention to that because, that's obviously how real shoplifters act( not saying you're one) You can't really blame anyone, just that you should be more careful next time. Had you not paid that amount requested, you would have been cuffed, seriously. Sorry you had to experience that. Them no dey take ear hear 'thief' for Lagos, you're really lucky 'twas a supermarket it hapened. That's just how it is. |
