You guys should understand that the dynamics of gathering crowds for a guber candidate more often than not differs from the voting patterns at the presidential level, in Benue State for example where I come from, the APC gubernatorial candidate is very popular among the various local government areas and constituents in Benue, and will easily pull a massive crowd cause we will vote for him based on his popularity as an individual and not his party...but come presidential election proper, no sane Benue person will vote for APC ever again after all the killings we've witnessed under this administration.

These are places where Christian dominates wholesomely in Nigeria.
Why should APC zone a ticket to a people that will never vote for you to win? Even with a pastor, they didn't vote you onto victory.

Any attempt to pick who isn't a northern Muslim is a win for Atiku and his PDP. It is like somebody getting to gate of heaven then decided to commit adultery.

Sometimes I do think Peter Obi being the president of Nigeria is demeaning his person, but we begged him to come and rescue Nigeria for us, even though we know that he's above Nigeria presidency.

After the rescheduling of the APC presidential primaries for June 6 and 7, an informed party source close to the party executives said: “There was a meeting in Abuja with some super delegates and party stakeholders where it was deliberated that with all the facts and statistics on ground, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is the best bet for the APC to defeat the PDP in the general elections. “
