Politics / Re: There Will Be Bloodshed In 2015 If President Jonathan Runs- Junaid Mohammed by alex101(m): 5:30am On Dec 01, 2013
Quote me, if Jonathan insists on running, there will be bloodshed and those who feel short-changed may take the warpath and the country may not be the same again. His running will amount to taking about 85 million northerners for a ride and that is half of the country's total population. So, there will be bloodshed. But we don't pray to get to that level, before his ethnic and tribal advisers pull him back

To those who insist on remaining in the north come 2015, (especially the Igbo), you must arm yourselves as much as you can. This is why I can't stand these bush men from the north, with this born to rule mentality,,,,I'm still wondering why Jonathan should be denied his right to run for office as a bonafide nigerian? If the north believe that their vote, couple with those of their concubine in the SW can deliver the presidency to them , then they need not be afraid. All these empty threats is becoming childish.

Politics / There Will Be Bloodshed In 2015 If President Jonathan Runs- Junaid Mohammed by alex101(m): 5:21am On Dec 01, 2013
There’ll be bloodshed in 2015, if President Jonathan runs, warns Junaid Mohammed

01 Dec, 2013.

Second Republic member of the House of Representatives and Russian trained Medical Doctor, Junaid Mohammed, has declared that blood would flow on the streets of Nigeria, should President Jonathan insist on running for the presidency in 2015.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sunday Sun from his base in Kano, the former lawmaker, who chaired the House Committee on International Economic Relations and Socialist Bloc, argued that it was wrong for anyone to suggest that the clamour for power to return to the North in 2015, was coming from the North alone, insisting that there abound more agitators in the South-west, in this regard, than there are in the North, adding that "I can tell you today that there are more agitators in the South-west, for power shift to the North, than there are in the North. And they are doing this because they believe in justice and fairness.

If you have faith in a system, you must ensure the system runs fairly and justly too. Apart from the issue of fairness and justice, the South-west knows that it has a lot to lose, should it allow the country to plunge into any political upheaval. Lagos alone, accounts for 45 percent of our national economy, and my friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of that notorious fact. So the South-west cannot fold its hands and watch one irresponsible and incompetent leader lead the country into an avoidable political violence. Common sense tells the South-west that it would not be in their interest for this country to convulse again."
He also spoke on the recent clampdown by EFCC on some governors and other issues of national interest.
Excerpts:
The closest President Goodluck Jonathan has come to saying whether or not he would run in 2015 was to say recently that he was under pressure to run. Should he run?
First and foremost, I do not believe he should run. He should not run, whether he is under pressure or not. He is his own man, therefore, he should be responsible enough to take that decision, and not to bore us with the irresponsible statement of saying he is under pressure. He should stop playing with the destiny of this country. He is humble enough to know the consequences of his action, should he insist on running. But let me warn that he should not do anything that would plunge the country into avoidable anarchy.
Quote me, if Jonathan insists on running, there will be bloodshed and those who feel short-changed may take the warpath and the country may not be the same again. His running will amount to taking about 85 million northerners for a ride and that is half of the country's total population. So, there will be bloodshed. But we don't pray to get to that level, before his ethnic and tribal advisers pull him back.
In case these advisers are unable to pull him back, what are the options available to Nigerians?
The option is to pile up pressure, to ensure that he does not take the country for a ride. Nigerians must be prepared not to allow him force any political upheavals or violence on us, because that will be the consequence, if he fails to listen to the voice of reason.
At any rate, on the three criteria globally used to measure preference for a leader, this man has got none of them. They are competence, integrity and acceptability. On competence, you journalists know this better. President Jonathan is incompetent. He has got no integrity, because he is also corrupt and irresponsible. On acceptability, apart from his few ethnic and tribal advisers, who are urging him to contest, Jonathan today is not acceptable to the generality of Nigerians. So on all these three counts, he is nowhere, so on what basis is he going to run? Answer me, I am asking? So like I said from the onset, in order to avoid political upheavals and violence that his action would cause this country, it will be in the best interest of Nigeria for him not to run. And history will surely be kind on him, should he decide to take that path of honour.
Since you are saying he should not run, is the opposition, as we have today, a viable alternative?
I want to be careful, with my choice of words. What do you mean by viable alternative? Was Jonathan a viable alternative before 2011 election? Or was late Yar'Adua a viable alternative before 2007? It's after you have tested someone that you know whether the person is a viable alternative or not. It's you journalists that use those words. I am a politician, and I have been in it for about 40 years now, therefore, I won't succumb to that choice of words.
Having said that, if there is going to be a free and credible election, I don't mind if Jonathan runs, because I know he would be roundly rejected by Nigerians. But the last thing you want to guarantee in a country where the police have suddenly become an arm of PDP's militia is a free and credible election. You don't win election by using the bullets. So we are in a Catch 22 situation.
With what we have seen so far under Jega, INEC cannot guarantee a free and credible election. INEC is very corrupt.
Where do these leave the North which has been clamouring for power to return to it in 2015?
It's wrong to say it's only the North that has been clamouring for power to return to the region in 2015.
I can tell you today that there are more agitators in the South-west, for power shift to the North, than there are in the North. And they are doing this because they believe in justice and fairness. If you have faith in a system, you must ensure the system runs fairly and justly too. Apart from the issue of fairness and justice, the South-west knows that it has a lot to lose, should it allow the country to be plunge into any political upheaval. Lagos alone accounts for 45 percent of our national economy, and my friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is aware of that notorious fact. So the South-west cannot fold its hands and watch one irresponsible and incompetent leader lead the country into an avoidable political violence. Common sense tells the South-west that it would not be in their interest for this country to convulse again.
Come to think of it, Obasanjo was unfairly and undemocratically imposed on us by a few Generals from the North, using state resources to fund the PDP in 1998. I am not a member of the PDP, but I was in Jos (at the convention that produced Obasanjo, as the presidential candidate), and I knew Obasanjo never won the primary; it was manipulated in his favour. But we thought Ekwueme was decent enough to challenge what transpired. Instead, he was doing 'paddy paddy' with Obasanjo, until recently when I read the interview he granted one Hausa newspaper. Now, because of the way Obasanjo came in, when he was leaving too, he gave Nigerians, a mentally and physically sick Yar'Adua. And after Yar'Adua, we now have this nincompoop as president. I gave this background because there was no justification for having Obasanjo in the first instance. It could have been anybody from the South, thrown up through a credible process, not by a few Army Generals.
So, as I was saying, if Jonathan insists on running, there will be violence in Nigeria if he wins, because he can't win a free, fair and credible election. I don't speak for the North, but I believe what the north wants is a competitive process, where the game of number comes to play and the North has the numbers. If there is going to be a credible election, Nigerians will not bother, because for me and for most Nigerians, the process is more important than the result. But these present people cannot guarantee that.
Look at Anambra. Is that the kind of a thing we want to see in 2015? A situation where PDP which is the party at the centre, is giving thumbs up to a process that not only disenfranchised more than half of the registered voters, but also disenfranchised its own candidate and his entire family. Is that fair? This is why I said from the beginning that Jega's lousy INEC, with highly partisan people in the country, with the police, as PDP militia cannot give us a free, fair and credible election where Jonathan is a candidate. So, to avoid chaos, Jonathan should just take a bow and leave in the interest of the country.
On a final note, what do you make of the recent clampdown by the EFCC on some governors, especially from the North?
First and foremost, I have not seen the details. So, I will not comment until I see the details. But there is a pattern emerging, in that only governors from the North, especially those who are opposed to President Jonathan's 2015 ambition, are the ones being hounded. Whether there is a credible allegation for hounding them is another thing. Now, the immediate consequence of this for the EFCC is that it will discredit and politicise its affairs. Once you politicise an institution such as the EFCC, you are bastardizing the criminal justice system.
Now, the EFCC is headed by a northerner. So the slant being given to it is that these people are being hounded by their fellow northerner. But I want the chairman of the EFCC to know that one day, he would be removed.

phri*globe:

PDP: Bamanga Turkur
The difference is that PDP is not an Islamic terrorist party like APC

APGA Secretary: Sani Muhammad Shinkafi
APGA Election Screening Chairman: Tayo

The main power broker in APGA remains in the hands of a non-Islamist, for now till he's made to pay for his crime (the criminal Peter Obi for now)

We only know Ngige, He will be the second oshiomole in APC
Both are as inconsequential as Rochas
What we are against in Igboland is Islamic terrorism, which APC represent,,,SIMPLE!
Politics / Re: Why The South East, Must ShunThe APC For Now! by alex101(m): 4:44pm On Nov 13, 2013
To my Anambra brethren and Ndigbo in general; you must know that Islamic fundermentalism, as promoted by the boko party, APC is vehemently opposed to your way(s) of life. These islamists are jealous of the principle philosophical and ideological foundation of Igboism, which simply "all men are created equal before God". These APC goons believe in subjugation of their followers,,,hence; almajirism in the north and agberoism in the SW.

We must never allow these Islamist get anywhere near any of the governors' houses in Igboland, for the glory of God is upon us. cool

APC is an arch Islamist party. At a time when the rest of the world is shying away from Islamic terrorism, APC is embracing it, whole heartedly.

APC must NEVER get a foot hold in the sacred land of Ndigbo, for that is where Chukwu Abhiama resides cool.

I can see the enemies of Igbo are gathering. You clowns think you can dominate the media forever,,,going about fooling everyone with your lies, unchallenged. If we had asked for a media from the yoruba/hausa-fulani establishment to carry out this investigation or story on how these Igbo sons were murdered, what would have been your response? You would have made an excuse that Igboland is not safe,,,,bla bla bla.

Those of you attacking the messenger here know what you are doing and only a foo!ish Igbo would fall for your bull crap. You like to lionize the weak Igbo, especially those who like to appear cosmopolitan, while casting aspersion on any Igbo that stand for his people's interests, just as the narrator in this video is doing. The director is gathering evidence for the future persecution of murderers in Igboland, something which most of you enemies will NEVER do, even when those killed are your so called fellow "nigerians". The message in this clip is very clear to discerning Igbo sons and daughters, worldwide.
Politics / Re: Ezu River killings: Video Documentary by alex101(m): 11:25pm On Nov 05, 2013
jumobi1: The narrator is such a tribalist. As an Igbo man, I am ashamed. Why can't Northerners be in Anambra? Is it not part of Nigeria...Then when they deport our people in Lagos, fools like the narrator would make noise when he'll do the same if he could.
If those Northerners are causing trouble then the Anambra govt should act. They looked peaceful to me.
If you are an "Igbo" as you claim and have any form of brain in your thick skull, you would understood the message that is being conveyed in this video,,,a message for those who really LOVE Igboland. I won't go beyond that.

The moral of this whole story is: nature abhors vacuum!

When you leave your place, others will take over,,,,some of them may be criminals. We're all over the place and that's why the likes of Peter Obi, Theodore Orji, Martin Elechi, Rochas Okorocha, et.al have been ruining Igboland. Folks (myself included) have to start doing what I call "think home mentality".

I've read with utter dismay how some Igbo peeps brag about developing other people's land,,,forgetting that charity begins at home. As far as the dungeon called nigeria is concern, there is nothing like "no man's land". Even Oliver D' Coque had a song that says; Ana ewe obodo ewe, ewere n'di we obodo ewe.

The likes of abagworo, and the rest of them shameless folks that keep lying to the world that Igboland isn't big enough should forever bury their heads in shame. I have criss-crossed the entire Igboland and I can state that less than 1/3 of Igboland is what is currently occupied. There sre still vast land, unoccupied.

I'm just glad that some true Igbo sons are documenting these things, so that Peter Obi don't go scot free.

you want them to come back and get kidnapped? Most igbo leaders live in Enugu, many of them left because of kidnapping, we will never get it right with Peter Obi's APGA.
My brother, that is why I stated earlier that "nature abhors vacuum". When you leave your land, criminals will take over. We're all guilty of this (myself included). That's why I am embarking on this philosophy of: think home mentality.

The menace of kidnappings will be dealt with,,,be rest assured. Even Peter Obi will pay for the Ezu river crime. There is going to be a new dawn in Igboland,,,,once we install our transmitter by December this year, courtesy of radiobiafra. The reason you have all these criminals in Igboland is because we lack media to awaken the Igbo spirit. Remember how we raised bakassi boys to deal with armed robbers all over the land. My brother, good times will be back.

This so called "professor" should start by telling us where he's based. Is he based anywhere in Igboland or Lagos? Some of these foo!s who keep making stup!d statements regarding Igboland should start by relocating to Igboland. The reason why we have criminals like Orji, Peter Obi & co is because those who claim to have integrity like this Utomi (and the yoruba-woman-marrying Emeka Ayaoku, Professor Ben Nwabueze) live in another man's land. Are there men from other ethnicity, of thesame statue, living in Igboland? The answer is an emphatic NONE.

FreeGlobe: Dead on arrival. Peter Obi and Victor Umeh's APGA will RIP November 16. Most of you are not from Anambra anyways, if you want APGA vote them in your state. Peter obi's APGA is igbo inhumanity to igbo. Why did you skip ezu river saga and shoot on site order of the present led APGA in your Analysis. APGA is not an igbo party, Anambra is not the only igbo state. say no to continuity of bad governance wrapped under igbo interest
Believe me, the bolded was also placed in consideration, during the process of reaching this conclusion. I can assure you that I'm part of a group who are hell bent on bringing about a media platform (one based on truth) to Igbolandin sensitising our people as to how to hold government accountable. Be rest assured my brother that the Ezu river issue is not over. Peter Obi will be made to pay for his crimes,,,,even the ex-Imo state governor, Achike Udenwa will pay too, for his shoot at site order on MASSOB members, during his reign in office.

In the mean time, understand that this decision was taken with the utmost interest of not only Anambra, but that of Ndigbo in general. If we allow ngige win that election, it may sound/appear good in the short term, but we will pay heavily for it in the long term, for we would have created a monster that will be difficult to get rid off. APC is an islamic party that stand against anything Igbo, and it is the political wing of boko haram.

PDP candidate too?
My brother, I think we need to make APGA strong (capture all the Governors' houses in SE) and at the federal level, vote in PDP candidates. So far in this election, the PDP candidate is weak, and I believe we should stick to Obiano, who has the support of the peopel and the out-going governor
Politics / Re: The Anambra Election And Endorsement Of A Candidate With SE's Interests by alex101(m): 5:34pm On Oct 19, 2013
The party APC:

At a time when the world is frowning at Islamic extremism, APC is embracing it by series of their actions. They've not condemned the northern nigerian islamic terrorist group called boko haram. They are rather, using boko haram to intimidate the general public into voting in their candidate, Buhari. They (APC), did not condemn the killings of innocent NYSC members in the north during the last presidential elections of 2011.
APC and their goons are behind the recent "pull him down" syndrome that is geared towards each and every Igbo member of GEJ's cabinet. They called for the removal of the NPC chairman, Festus Odumegwu . They called for the sacking of the Igbo immigration boss. They called for the sacking of the COAS, Lt. Gen Ihekirika. They are clamouring for the sacking of the minister of aviation, Stella Oduah.

Ever since the minister of aviation, under our dear president GEJ, opened up the Enugu aiport for business, these enemies of progress, have remained unsettled. The core of their "beef" with this lady is the internalisation of the said airport,,,,nothing more. One of their agents recently stated that the direct flight of Ethiopian airline in to the coal city will "kill" the local airline industries. These APC, an ardent islamic party, believe in the doctrine of continued politico-economic strangulation of Igboland. Over 4 decades, they made it possible for Igboland to record the largest migration (outwardly), of any group in sub-saharan Africa. UmuIgbo, enough is enough. We must learn to confront our enemies, head on. The Enugu airport is booming. My, brother recently went home via Ethiopian airline (by-passing Lagos, even when his business is 75% Lagos based) and he said to me he did that, for "Igbo-pariotism" sake. I intend to follow suit, come december.

APC does not respect Igbo tradition, hence their utter disregard for the Ofala traditional festival in Onitsha. My brothers and sisters, APC has no place in Igboland. They (APC) believe in autocratic rule,,,we are free born and republicanism is inherently innate in us,,,,thus immiscible with a bunch that see their erring head as form of "god".

APGA:
APGA started out with good intent to project the interest of Ndigbo, but along the line (especially after the death of Ikemba), lost focus. APGA is NOT an Obi's party. He doesn't own it and we must make that clear to him and his cronies. It (APGA) belong to Ndigbo in general and can be taking back from Peter Obi and placed on the right path. We just have to persevere and be resolute in making it clear to those running it. APGA can not be thrown under the bus, because of one man and his crew. If we allow APGA to be defeated by APC, then we are in essence saying that the following utterances by our detractors are correct:

Sack Ihejirika.
Sack Stella Oduah.
The deportaion of our Igbo brethren in the dead of the night by APC Fashola was the right to do.
Removal of Festus Odumegwu, who was on the path of conducting a credible census was in order.
The call for stopping of international flights into Enugu by APC agents is correct.
The post election killings of youth corpers by terrorists in the north is in order.
The boko haram insurgency, that is affecting Igbo lives and property in the north is correct.
Politics / The Anambra Election And Endorsement Of A Candidate With SE's Interests by alex101(m): 5:33pm On Oct 19, 2013
INTRODUCTION:
Our dear people of Anambra and Ndigbo in general, I, on behalf of the esteemed members of Eze Ndigbo council members congratulate you all for airing your respective views with respect to the various candidates vying for the governor's office of the state of Anambra. I have been observing with keen interest (though behind the scene), on the various positions put forth by supporters of respective aspirants, and I must conclude that this is the election (on a gubernatorial scale) that has elicited the most interest(s) from Anambrarians/Igbo and non-Igbo, both in Nigeria and outside of Nigeria. Even here in the US, a Yoruba friend of mine follows the election more than I do, because he's an APC supporter. These interests expressed by people, in and outside of the state, is the reason we are going to briefly "dissect" each aspirant.

Ifeanyi Uba:
He's lost credibility, especially since his business failed. This is making folks uneasy as to what he may do with the treasury, since it appears he lack the required financial judgement to keep his business above waters.

Chris Ngige: Ngige might have had a good chance in the forthcoming governorship election, but he is dining with the wrong crew. He is hobnobbing with those who do not in anyway, shape or form, wish his people ANY good. He saw the handwriting on the wall that his people are against his APC party, yet he was not move and remained adamant due to his own ego, selfish and personal interest. This is unacceptable, for a person's (Ngige's) interest should be subsumed by the overall interest(s) of the larger Anambrarians/Igbo, however uncomfortable it may be for Ngige. He has demonstrated that he is insensitive to the plight and yearnings of the people he aspire to govern,,,,he exhibited this nonsense during the recent deportation saga in Lagos. He, like his other APC goats demonstrated that they are uneducated in terms of immigration,,,,are these the type of men/women we should allow anywhere close to governance? Ngige, like his other APC goons lack the required judgement to govern a state,,,,in summary, he's a megalomaniac and should be treated as one until he comes to his senses, heck, he lacks respect for traditional Igbo customs,,,,see Obi of Onitsha curse on Ngige and his APC crew!

Willy Obiano: This man is a true IGBO son. He understand the traditional Igbo way of doing things. He is well grounded in financial management,,,this may well explain his closeness to Peter Obi's fidelity bank dealings. This is the area of immense concern to council members, and he may have been so compromised by Obi, in covering up some dirt. Nonetheless, I still believe that he needed the support of a popular out-going governor (especially one that is close to the president), to get ahead in an election,,,afterall, this is Nigeria we're talking about,,,see Soludo. The good thing I've gathered from a reliable source on the ground, is that Dr. Obiano is a man of compassion and reason. He's not happy with current state of things in Anambra, and Igboland in general, although I don't fully buy his concerns, for he's still a politician in the dungeon called Nigeria. I believe we can still get him to deliver to us, if we apply the required pressure on him, via our own media. The reason why politicians get away with impunity in Nigeria, is because they pay the media to misinform the people. The Nigerian journalists are highly corrupt and are in the business of misinforming the gullible electorate. Even here on NL, the amount of falsehoods that abound here, can even make the devil look "less hurtful" sometimes. Ndigbo must have their OWN brand of media, that will be based the cardinal principle of Igbland which is Eziokwu bu n'du (truth is life)!.

BTW I find it interesting as well that NL people that were not even born in the 60's would continue this counterproductive tribalism, when in actuality all the tribes are co-existing in harmony, every where in the world. I also find it interesting that those spewing the most hate don't even live in Nigeria and are the main culprits causing confusion and promoting hatred among the tribes. When will we learn that the true enemies are the elite that have been ruling us for the past 50 years.
I guess boko haram that are killing southerners (of which Igbo is part of), don't live in the dungeon called nigeria,,,,they (boko haramists) are doing the killings from outside nigeria undecided.

Those that arrested, tortured and deported their so called "fellow nigerians" from Lagos back to the Onitsha in the dead of the night, did so from outside of the cesspit called nigeria?

Yes, you're right that majority of us weren't born in the 60's, but one thing is clear,,,,I'm speaking as a 100% IGBO son: that NEVER again will we allow one fool/id!oot in the mould of Zik to convince Ndigbo to embrace the dungeon called "one-nigeria" without a plan B. Ndigbo must embrace and practise tribalism like every other junkie inhabiting that hell called nigeria. It's this naivety on the part of Ndigbo that has made them fall prey to much weaker groups in nigeria.
