For som1 who eat very early in the mrng before fasting, what is she really complaining about?...

I'm a christian and I do fast at least 1ce a week for a whole day and nobody can ever guess that i'm fasting because i work more than everybody and more lifely. In fact, mentioning it to a colleague that i'm fasting is gross not to talk of making that as an excuse.

This is nothing but laziness to me and strongly recommend that you sack her before she ruin your buisness because she'll pull that stunt after fasting.
i hp i don't have to remind you that treating customers like a king is a success key to that your buisness.

What are you talking about?..officials of NYSC can sometimes be corrupt but they arent that insensitive bro. It is either the guy is playing on you by not applying for redeployment or he didnt present the needed medical report. Here is the simple solution;
A very close family member(one or both parents @ best) should approach the LGI/ZI in charge of his PPA and explain the situatn.... you'll sure come back here with positive testimony next time.

But @Goshen360 and Alexk2, something is wrong with the teaching 'the fruit of the holy spirit' because The holy Spirit is not to bear fruit. We are to bear fruit because we are the branches.

Yes, Jesus said in John 15 that we are to bear fruit been the brances but let us look at the statement very well..John 15:5.."I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." notice that the only condition to bear fruit is to remain in Jesus Christ and He in Us....i.e., the fruit is the product from the life Vine of Jesus.
Now., when we said the Holy Spirit dwells in a genuine Christians, it is the same as saying Christ lives in them....so, the fruits of the Holy Spirit as explained in gal. 5:22-23 is in accordance with what Jesus said in John 15.
Without the life force of the Holy Spirit there cant be any fruit bearing as on our own, we can do nothing!

@ op., i believe the most important question to ask is how can i be sure that i'm a child of God or born again or a genuine christian?...to me, this is the most important as you'll always be given this free gift of the Holy Spirit the very moment you say a genuine YES to JESUS.
To answer the above questn, go to Romans 8:16.."the Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children."....if you belong to Him, there will be the witness of the Holy Spirit inside of you.

Now abt other evidence, we have the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit..gal. 5:22-23 give us an insight into those fruits---every believer is expected to display all that to God's glory--bt remember that fruits are 'product' from a fruitful tree just as those qualities are products of a life surrended totally to the master and been lead by the Holy Spirit(old things must have passed away).

Speaking in tongues is one of the many gifts of the Holy Spirit(check 1 cor. 12:7-11) and "He gives it to each man, just as He determines."
there is no need to fret, trouble yourself or condemn yourself as an unbeliever just because you cant speak in tongue yet. All you need do is ask and keep asking for it..then wait patiently and with a clear understanding that you relationshp with Jesus Christ is far more important than 'gifts'

so in summary, all that is so important is to be sure you belong to Jesus---all other things will come as He promised.

I have asked a lot questions about getting the fullness of the Holy Spirit and I have received different answers. You addressed one of my several questions in your comment and I'm sincerely grateful. Here's my question. If the common people from different parts of the world that were present on the day of pentecost understood the tongues that Peter and other disciples spoke, why do the tongues we hear nowadays sounding meaningless? Is it because the tongues are heavenly and cannot be understood by common men. I really need your answer please. Thanks

what happen on the day of penticost was chiefly as a result of the powerful force of the Holy Spirit. I have always seen it this way; they recieved the Holy Spirit and started speaking is divers tongues(in there native languages) so that the observers can also come to the knowledge of the saviour---remember that was what attracted them; the basic reason why they stayd on to listen to peter and hence got converted. This is generally what the Holy Spirit would do through us; creating an occasn for us to reach the unreached by what ordinary pple will call luck, chance and coincidence but to us as children of God, itz divine arrangment.....even the disciples don't understand what they speak but God makes that an avenue/means to reach the lost...tongues are for signs as stated in 1 cor. 14:21-22.

Now to your questn, i'm aware of those who had abused the speaking in tongues to the extend of seeing it as a language that can be learned or taught---and less emphasis is given to salvation in such churches and this is sad but this doesnt mean that there is no genuine tongues from the Holy Spirit and it doesnt have to sound meaningful or in any local dialets for it to be original---remember He(Holy Spirit) gives as He determine. If He so like, He will give a new tongue that had never by spoken by anybody and only God and those He so wish can understand what it means. May God help us all!

I'll try to answer this question as much as i can knowing fully well that you may have been lured directly or indirectly into the many misconceptions abt the Holy Spirit.

First, salvation is simply defined as the changing of our old life(sinful) with the new(the life of Christ) and the active force behind the change is simply the Holy Spirit. It is actually the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer that makes him/her a new person in Christ(2 cor. 5:17).
Having said that, it becomes a misunderstanding for any believer to be asking for another Holy Spirit as if to say there is a different type of Holy Spirit.

Secondly, the Holy Spirit is 'gift' that is freely given to God's children by God. A gift is what you dont have to qualify b4 been given; you only recieve if by faith just the same way you recieve the offer of salvation.

Thirdly, the only condition that confirm your sonship or salvation is the witness of the Holy Spirit with your Spirit-romans 8:16..if you are a true child of God, there would be the witness/testimony of the Holy Spirit for a daily confimation...i have to stress this coz the popular misconception is the, confirmation comes only with speaking in tongues which i have never seen anywhere in the bible(though still a std of it sha).

Now, what i want you to be prayer for is the full manifestation of the works of the Holy Spirit; meaning we are the seek the full powerful force of the Holy Spirit through our vessels.....

Speaking in tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit(pls. Read 1 cor. 12:7-11 very well). The last verse ends it with-'..and He gives them to each man, just as He determines'. Remember it is also a gift and a good gift @ that so it is good to pray for it and desire it but don't fret or be troubled or condemn yourself as an unbeliever just because you can't speak in tongue yet. Wait patiently for it while you keep prayer and when He determines and sees that you need it and ready for it, you'll be given.

In summary, what is all important is salvation or a new life in Christ...after that, there is no limit with the powerful force of the Holy Spirit at work in US..

Be very sure of what you are hearing and from Who...if truely it is from the Holy Spirit, stop ignoring Him..God is not the autor of confussn; if He decide to lead you to your wife now, then it means she is part of the purpose He gave you. You God-given wife completes you and never a distraction as you are seeing it and she'll be a help-meet to achieve your purpose.

To detect a fake certificate is simple; during screening, they'll send it to the skul he claimed to have graduated from for confirmation-this is nt done manually.
