Ariza: You need to see the way I carefully read your post like as if it'll pay my bills.... you're not entirely wrong but it is important we correct certain part of it for the sake of those who desire to know the "TRUTH" 1. Love truly exist and some couples are indeed in true love and are happy for it and LOVE is unconditional if it is love and not "LUST" 2. What majority call love is actually lust or infatuation which is very conditional and the day the attached condition is removed, the relationship/marriage will hit the rock. 3. God is "LOVE"; now that is deep and it'll take a whole topic to explain that but every human created by God and who received God's breath(living soul) have this what I'll call inherent attribute to love but God's presence in form of the Holy Spirit makes it evidential in human but then it still comes to our choice whether to display that inherent love from within or not....so, it is not in learning but in doing that is the problem bro.; same thing applies to hatred from Satan. You'll have to get someone she respect(like her pastor) to talk to her and if that fails, you'll have to stand your ground and marry the lady you love and understand. What are the countries with birthright citizenship? The countries with birthright citizenship are: Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Lesoto, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Panama, Peru, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, and Uruguay. There are many pros to living in a country that upholds birthright citizenship. In plain English, birthright citizenship asserts that anyone who was born in the United States, for example, is automatically a citizen. Birthright citizenship does not require any other prerequisites in order to be a citizen. Even then, there are some countries that offer birthright citizenship on a conditional basis. Luxembourg, Guinea-Bissau, Azerbaijan, and Chad are four examples of national instances whereby a country does not always offer birthright citizenship, except for under certain circumstances. In total, there are thirty-five countries around the world with birthright citizenship as a national policy for all people born in these particular countries. In Nigeria the different ways, by which citizenship can be acquired, are clearly stipulated in the constitution. By virtue of Section 25, 26 and 27 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 2011 as amended, a person can become a citizen of Nigeria by one of these three ways: by birth, registration and naturalisation. |

The 14th Amendment of the Constitution guarantees birthright citizenship and states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." The ability of a president to end birthright citizenship has been extensively challenged by a range of lawmakers and legal scholars -- including one of Trump's own judicial nominees. James Ho, a Trump appointee to the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals who is highly respected in conservative circles, wrote a paper in 2006 noting that such proposals concerning birthright citizenship raise serious constitutional questions due to the clear words in the 14th Amendment. "That birthright is protected no less for children of undocumented persons than for descendants of Mayflower passengers," Ho wrote in the paper published before he became a judge. An attempt from the Trump administration to end birthright citizenship would also be challenged by Supreme Court precedent. In 1898 in United States v. Wong Kim Ark the court said that a child born in the US to non citizens parents of Chinese descent was entitled to citizenship at his birth. The case came after Wong Kim Ark, traveled to China for a temporary visit when he was 22 and was denied reentry. And other cases since then have built upon it. Speaking with Axios in 2018, Trump said he would end birthright citizenship through an executive order, though he did not provide a timeline for doing so. "We're the only country in the world where a person comes in and has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits," he said. "It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And it has to end." Earlier Wednesday, acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan unveiled new policies which will allow the government to detain families crossing the US-Mexico border longer than before. If the new rule survives court challenges, the policy change could permit authorities to detain families through the duration of their immigration proceedings. You will need to forgive yourself, take responsibility(stop looking f excuse to give for your past mistakes), let go and move on. When you really forgive yourself, you'll have the peace within you need and the determination not to make similar mistakes. btw, it is equally important that you summon the courage and strength to go celebrate with at least those who had been there for you all along You too need to start giving "positive energy" and encouragement to those who need it. 4 Likes |

This is what I always talk about; our law enforcement officers must change their investigative method to a more realistic and lawful means.... Not those archaic and irresponsible methods that can end up make the case useless....i won't be surprised if the accused are discharged in the end if there lawyers can successfully proof a case of forcing them to confess under duress expecially with by shooting them in the leg. It's very sad; we should have moved beyond such irresponsible method long time ago. |

If you have an idea how investigations are carried out in Nigeria by these men in black, you'll feel ashamed for them and pity the innocent ones imprisoned every now and then mostly just because they can't afford the "price tag" for their freedom. What makes me wonder is how such shallow investigation was done back then when some of us thought our yesterday was actually better in this country. |

Tinubu allows Samwolu to emerge from a direct primary given all party members a sense of belonging; that's the wisest move. We're losing priority by copying them here. We have a more serious challenges to deal with here instead of building universities that isn't beneficial to her members. My original argument is not even against the building those higher institutions of learnings but in the way it's not affordable to the Christian majority. so if it cannot be made affordable, it's just not neccessary; it's a misplaced priority. Church universities in Nigeria mould men in character and sound Christian doctrines which is lacking in many public schools because of secularism. Secularism has corrupted many Christians that they just do as they like.Are you for real bro.? do your survey very well pls. btw, a lot of example abound of those who finish from public schools and are doing very well spiritually/morally so much so that your argument becomes irrelevant. May I remind you that all these respected men of God finished from these public universities to start with. finally, the church shouldn't be competing with the government on whose facility is better or who can build the best and most beautiful university; we should be the light in showing the government on how to solve the many challenges in Nigeria such as poverty and unaffordable educational systems. 3 Likes |

HigherEd:It is my business first because I'm a Nigerian and secondly because I'm a Christian with good knowledge of the word of God.....consequently, I can't understand how the Bible can justify a church building universities with or without members contributions and members/christians can't attent such higher institutions; I don't see how God can be happy with such arrangement. The common justification is that of "spreading gospel" but we know practically speaking, it's either not entirely true or the products are not significantly different from public institutions after all we have campus fellowships and churches in our public institutions too. If you read my line of thought very well, you'll understand I just don't see why it's necessary for churches to go into building universities that won't have direct benefits to her members and Christians at large. As far as I'm concerned, there are so many other beneficial ways churches can help build the educational systems some of which I've highlighted above. Finally, I want you to know that almost all public institutions in Nigeria are heavily subsidised so that it can be affordable to more nigerians. If govt can do that, churches are expected to do more with her universities. If the running cost won't allow them, then starting it all together seems to me as a wrong priority. In the spirit of truth, that was the order and yes it was stated clearly that PMB should effect it but it's against the spirit and letters of our constitution; such order is simply unconstitutional and shouldn't have been carried out at all. So PMB goofed big time( his decision is like taking the law into your hand) and nobody should support such illegality just in the same way no pathrotic Nigerian should support Onnoghen's financial infractions and his refusal to resign.

Let me state this clearly to all who care to listen; corruption have no tribe, no religion, no party and no colouration...
