@ op, Maybe you'll have made a very good and valid point if you didn't campaign for one of the contestant with your writeup.... This alone makes you insincere! |
duality; My brother, You're confusing yourself... The bolded contradict your earlier position. What other party can provide the much needed opposition apart from PDP? I hope you know that politics is a game of numbers.... And if they have to be sincere with themselves, their problem is internal... They caused it; so they have to solve it. Fayose is one of the few who insist it must be Sheriff and now he is claiming PDP problem is externally induced... see, you cannot shy away from admitting responsibility for your mistakes and expect things will work well. PDP must recognise where they missed it and make amends; Nigeria need them. Btw., we don't need an opposition that'll "unsettle the government" as you claim... Instead we need them to keep APC govt on their toes. Irrespective of the divide we belong to, Nigeria is our country and the success of her should be paramount. Once again, I'm not a fan of APC let alone been a member but I pray and hope that they succeed. |
wowmenow;Formidable =United for a common course... That is what helped APC while in the opposition; can PDP just give us that and stop blaming everybody for their failures. Nigeria need strong opposition that can objectively criticise the govt when necessary while offering a much more better alternative to the people for the sake of 2019. Im not a fan of APC but truth be told, if PDP continue like this, their failure in 2019 will be the worst ever recorded in our history. |
emmykk;I decide to reply you so you can be well informed on this issue.... The previous "Senate"(the 4th and 7th assembly) failed in their bid to amend the constitution because of moves to slot in selfish issues like this one. I mean these two assembly specifically because they both came close until their selfish interest ruin the whole noble course. It's unfortunate that we don't learn from history.. First, it's the move to be enjoying life pension and now, they want to have immunity. Note that this call starts with "it's only the Senate leadership" but I know it's all a lie. How about removing all forms of life pension and immunity from all political leadership positions. Why should anybody who was elected to serve be enjoying live pension or immune from answering questions relating to how they use such office? The Judiciary heads and formal military head of states cannot in any sense be compared because they are civil servants and pension is their exclusive rights as they contributed to it all through their service years...... Likewise can they not enjoy an for of immunity as they are employee of the government and should be held accountable. |
That's a lie.. Fayose had never really played the role of an opposition... It's fast becoming clear that he was only trying to play a fast one on the intelligence of the "few" What Nigeria need is a formidable and credible opposition and I'm hoping PDP will put their house in order asap, correct her mistakes and start performing their role. |
Who defended them in court? .....That is not a fair trial! |
Nigerians is calling for the removal. Giving immunity to other arms of govt will be "anti-people". I know you guys don't care about the masses but you can't succeed in amending the constitution if you keep bringing on selfish agenda like this.... Two previous Senate failed because of this same reason; you guys seems to have forgotten so soon. |
Name them and save yourself of all these embarrassment if indeed your hands are clean. I just don't get all these noise in a bid to justify your actions. Trying to point accusing fingers to PMB and his Family will certainly not fly neither will it make you clean if you're dirty.... Immunity or not, you're not above the law; let's not get it twisted. |
Herbert Macauley print...I never old reach that level sha. |
I'm glad you've been to the school clinic already before opening this thread. If possible, visit a teaching hospital too before that Friday. Btw., I'm not a medical practitioner..it is well with U |
Hmmm... See biography ... What succeeds a man after death is not really his wealth, children or any vain assests; it is simply the man's Character while alive. |
I need help too... Just that in my own case the Google play store just stop downloading apps. It's been like that for like a month now. I need help pls. |
... The fear of efcc is the.......... |
K9blunt;The "truth" need no proof dear; I know who I am! You sound like you know "all men" already |
Capital No! This is how they will start focusing on what will benefit them and in the end they'll present an amendment that's unacceptable like before. IMO, even president and governors should not be on pension payroll.. I expect them to debate on removing that and the infamous immunity clause. Nigerians are watching! |
Yes, honourable men still exist; I'm one... Though I must agree that they are few. |
dontbanandquote; That may be unheard of under a regime that recognise order of authority and respect her army generals... For an official who understand the terain at that time, he simply play his game well. Like I said earlier, it's only those who have nothing to live for that can't beg for their life under such condition. Why should he die for nothing when he can stay alive for @ least his family. Btw., being an army general don't make anyone superhuman! |
I don't get the point... and why emphasis his tribe(yoruba)? The latest trend of ethnic bigotry displayed by youths in general is just becoming alarming. So a man begging for his life is now a big issue.. Only those who have no value for human lives and didn't care about the wellbeing of others can't beg to live another day. It's not cowardice rather, it's a display of strength. He said he still want to be useful and @ least, he is useful to his family.... Btw., I'm not his fan. |
I support this in totality but care must be taken not to allow dubious and selfish individual especially politicians from from wrongly manipulating it. Someone may be a senator representing Kogi State today and Kwara State tomorrow claiming he reside in Kwara State.... .. |
All those clamouring for succession should check this out.... This is aside from all that it'll cost before the independency. The real biafra fighters and victims should start telling the stories and agony to the youths cos it seems they don't know what they are asking for. |
Oh No... Why must we always add religion sentiment into everything in this country? ![]() I wish youths can rise up and say enough is enough... But then, these leaders still they learn where the youths dey. |
Oh not again... Beauty without brain |
mamagee3;Just a question..... Do you love who you are? |
olaremint; In as much as I hate Dasukis guts, his lawyer is however right, trying a man for the same offence in different courts is an abuse of court, the matters should be consolidated and tried in a court once and for all.Your comment shows you're not following the case. It's Dasuki's lawyer that keep running to different court to stall the trial... He even took the case to ecowas court. |
This is why I have issue with our judiciary system. If it's not a delay tactics, it'll be bribery and corruption or lawyers disrespecting judges and court processes..... But if it's a case involving the poor, you'll see how fast they'll rush to judgement and measure endless jail terms. Election tribunal judgements, corruption cases, false asset declaration cases..... All follow same stead. Kogi election tribunal judgement is still fresh in our memory. Can we ever get it right with our judiciary? ![]() |
Not a bad idea for corn lovers like me. Though these corn are malnourished. |
That is girls for you... They think they know yet they know almost nothing. |
duastates; No need taking my post personal and been insulting. It's my opinion and it's devoid of sentiments. How're you now different from those who is always thinking of "our turn"? Have you ask yourself why nobody is talking about IPOB and AVENGERS all through the tenure of GEJ.... Have you ask yourself why every sane Nigerian condemn bokoharam but some are hailing IPOB moves and AVENGERS bombings? The truth remain that those leaders are the same people brainwashing those youths to believe that our problem is about ethnic alliance or our religious believes. Unless we rid ourself of all these sentiments, they'll keep on having there way. As for me, I say No. Our problem is bad leadership and succession won't stop that; in fact, it'll make it worse. |
oduastates; To start with, I'm a Nigerian.... But if that's not enough for you, go and confirm the truth in my post. |
Nice line of thought. The truth is, the disadvantages in breaking away are too many only if the advocates can think deep. We must not allow sentiments of religion and ethnicity to decide our future. If anybody is in doubts, read about South Sudan and check out their post succession situation as a country. |
Don't confront him but instead talk to him; communicate with him like friends. The power of communication in marriage/relationship cannot be overemphasised and it's like you aren't taking good advantage of that yet. Make him your best friend and learn how to chat with him about everything. Shalom. |
Haba... Your case isn't that bad now...Bro., visit a dentist and they'll explain to you what you can do about that. I know a guy who lost most of his front teeth completely and he got a refill/refix (I'm not sure what they call it). Don't stress yourself over what you can change jor... But just an advice, learn how to love and appreciate yourself pls.. It'll boost your self-esteem. Shalom. |
