moneymins: hmmm, madam what about the father of those two kids you be claim to mother, look here lady, it will be advisable you inform their father if he is still alive irrespective of any differences between you two so karmal don't catch up with you in the long run. Just a piece of advice to you. Relocating to another country with the pretense of taking two innocent kids from the reach of their father is a grievous offense and you may end up being the looser in the long run which is an 100% certainty or what could a lady in her early thirties relocating out of the country with two innocent kids which I believe don't know their father have in mind. Karma will catch up with you. You don't know her situation so don't spew nonsense. Your so-called advise is packed in insults. What if the father abandoned them? What if he's dead? And even if she wants to take them away what's your business?? |

4mykids: Help A Single Mum With Ideas
Hi everyone..as the topic states I need advise help and personal assistance too if possible.
I'm a single mum of two little kids and I really wish to start another phase of my life away from Nigeria. I feel it will greatly help I and my kids move on from the past. I'm not too old to work as I'm in my early 30's. Finance is available though limited to a certain amount.
I would love a situation where I can leave with my kids and not have to come back for them later..somehow, they seem to be my motivation to go on.
With these information, which country do you suggest that will be easy for immigration. There are some small countries that don't require so much for a visa but only ask you to invest some money in their economy and you'd be allowed to move in and settle. You'll find your feet in no time. You can Google "countries that require less for visa" or *10 easiest countries to migrate to" Let me also add, please don't give your money to all these scammers that promise to work visa for you. They will leave you in pains. Good luck ma, may God make way for all of us. |
Literature › Who Knows This Book? by alexvic12(op): 8:15pm On Jun 14, 2019 |
I read a book many years back when I was in junior secondary. I remember the name, DEATH IS A WOMAN but I don't know the author or how I can get it. I really want to get that book back.
The story is about a woman whose late father had a gangster lord as a best friend and when he died saving him, the gangster lord swore to provide for her and protect her. Vivian (her name) grew up and when she came into knowledge of what her foster father was, she stopped talking to him and decided to make her own way. However he kept up with her, providing for her even when she didn't know. She later married a guy, Bola. Bola was a womanizer who begin to treat her badly and it culminated in a setup that was aimed at embarrassing him. Vivian was involved unknowingly (having been seduced by a handsome nomad) and she went back to her foster father out of shame and pain, seeking revenge.
Bola was gunned down soon enough but the interest of the police who had been on the trail of the godfather was piqued and a chase began.
That's the story. Who knows the book, author and how I can get it again? |

OP pls post pics as well if you can. The Gumel camp is still there. They now use it for those deployed to Borno state. |
Investment › Re: Money Market by alexvic12(op): 5:24pm On Jun 13, 2019 |
bigtt76: Money Market Fund (MMF) is just the abridged version of investing in Government treasury bills (TB) except that with MMF, the banks or the financial institution invests on your behalf and pay you interest on the money invested daily, monthly or quarterly with the option of re-investing.
Now, unlike TB, you can opt out at anytime without loss of invested fund don't get it twisted though ....with TB you get paid interest on the principal upfront with your principal remaining intact till the end of the bills' tenure. If you want your principal before the end of the tenure date, then you will have to sell it at a discount rate meaning you lose a percentage of it.
Some MMF operators may require that you don't opt out for 30-90 days after investing but if you want to, then you will be fined a penalty for doing so.
Again, unlike TB, the yield rates fluctuates with the market meaning you can start with 13% today and tomorrow it drops to 12% while with TB, if they say 13% for 90 or 182 days ....so shall it remain untill the next batch of bills are to be sold at a different rate.
I would advice you read up more on the best MMF operator to select from, I know quite a few I've used though - ARM and StanbicIBTC both have low entry levels at N5K. Others may insist on from N50K upwards. There are other good and better ones out there you just have to dig them up.
All the best Thanks ma |
