MzzTega: I used to do it. No negative reaction. Its normal.
Its actually a medical issue. We had lecture on SLEEP. Anything that alters your physiology of sleep is a disorder and a medical issue.
Who talks in their sleep? Many people talk in their sleep. Half of all kids between the ages of 3 and 10 years old carry on conversations while asleep, and a small number of adults -- about 5% -- keep chit-chatting after they go to bed. The utterances can take place occasionally or every night. A 2004 poll showed that more than 1 in 10 young children converse in their sleep more than a few nights a week. Girls talk in their sleep as much as boys. And experts think that sleep talking may run in families. cheii. ..that means I can't marry u again nah, u will just fill my ears with talk when sleeping. *winks* |

NL owner got this one all wrong - His action should be condemned by all those who truly believe in democratic principles and not be clouded by overzealous sentiment masked with hate and bigotry. best comment eva |

cramjones: GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN is the worst thing that have ever happened to Nigeria. Under his useless, misrable, wicked and insensitive government he:
-Gave National awards to theives and encouraged them to steal more.
- He and his fat wife stole billions of dollars through their proxies
-Militants and murderers like Tompolo and Asari Dokubo took contracts meant for the military, became stupendously wealthy, while our soldiers died in the battle field because this GEJ diverted our billions of dollars meant for our security to his cronies.
-We earned record numbers in oil sales - over $100/barrel with absolutely nothing to show for it.
My prayer is that all these people that stole our commonwealth would be handed the death sentence! It is further waste of tax payers money to put them in jail. They should be shot either in the left side of their chests or on their forehead.
This is the greatest theft since Nigeria existed. We are behind PMB in this fight, and we would not relent till these bastards are shot and our money recovered!

Seun: Fellow Nairalanders,
Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.
We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:
I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.
Thanks, Seun (Founder Of Nairaland). What will happen will surly happen with or without NL. |

JoeCutie: I'm not a Biafra fanatic, but I'm an advocate of justice and fairness.
With this kinda shallow, unrealistic and sentimental move by the so called "Founder of Nairaland", the very aim of social media - or forum, whatever you choose to call it - which is to freely have a say without fear and or favour, is defeated. With this kinda platform, people get their views across. In fact, I could say that since almost everything had been taken from us, the youths embraced social media, making it a strong medium through which they express themselves.
This action by you, Seun, is a rape on justice, fairness, and in fact, democracy. If you come out for Presidency, I won't vote for you! It's not your place to tell us what to and what not to believe in and discuss.
All Igbos are not in support of Biafra (maybe not yet), but just so you know... If all of them hate and turn on you, and if they unanimously boycott Nairaland...YOUR NAIRALAND, you're going to be doomed. For life.
A little advice, Mr. Founder: You should be neutral here. Not taking sides. At least, not yet. For the sake of your career - Nairaland. That's one silly thing about us, Africans. Excessive show of power! You don't get to see the founders of Facebook, Whatsapp, etc making very useless rules and shoving it to people's faces all the time. Any attempt to express yourself lands you a ban. What kind of autocratic forum is this?! You don't just wake up and make decisions about us (this your decision, more like a presidential decree, could have been subtly thrown out in the open for a more democratic debate). We've got to have a say here; this is the 21st century, for fuccks sake! And if you want to make some steady progress, you've got to stop thinking to yourself all the time that you're The Founder of Nairaland . We know that already, and we get it. Take a chill pill. You're NOTHING without us.
And, uh...my (lengthy) ban, please? Mr founder has been paid handsomely for this. quote me anywhere |
Politics › Re: Nairaland Says No To Secessionists by Alezy(m): 5:25pm On Dec 10, 2015 |
warrior01: You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.
What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss. u have said my mind. irrespective of how much Mr seun has collected to do this, I put it to him that it's at the detriment of his blog. If Nigeria was working nobody will want out. |

mannobi: Ugo Chikieze wrote :
THE BAYELSA ELECTION, A LESSON FOR THE IGBOS: I have been following events in the Bayelsa state since Saturday and I think it's high time we Igbos woke up and learn our lessons. What is happening in Bayelsa state shows that the Bayelsans have moved on. They are no longer tied to the apron of PDP and GEJ. That state is one of the smallest states in the country and it's the home state of the former president (GEJ), yet the result of the election held since Saturday have not been announced officially till now. I thought the PDP would have swept off the whole votes just like they did during the presidential election, but to my amazement the APC is also gathering considerable votes there. I know PDP may eventually emerge winner in the election, but my point is that we Igbos should wake up and stop crying more than the bereaved cos even the bereaved have moved on. Other regions have moved on and have even started integrating themselves into this PMB administration to ensure they remain relevant and not schemed out if things, while some of my people are still holding themselves down and throwing hate speeches here and there. Other region are already preparing for 2019, some are already gearing up for 2023, while my people have failed to arise and shake off GEJ and his failed administration. By 2019 now, we will begin to run helter-skelter and start last minute preparation and when we loose again, we will say we are hated by others but we forget that we are the ones holding ourselves down now that others are already preparing ahead. The Igbos have enjoyed more "juicy" appointments in the past 16 years of this democratic dispensation, yet none of the appointees or elected officials performed exceptional well for us to present him/her as presidential candidate. But look at the likes of Fashola, Fayemi, Kwakwanso, El Rufai, etc they are all potential presidential candidates going forward cos their achievements speak for them. Tell me the achievements of. Orji Uzor Kalu, T.A Orji, Sam Egwu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Mbadinuju, etc.... none of them made a mark in their various states, yet we leave them and keep pointing fingers to other regions and saying they are our problem. I advise we wake up and begin to align ourselves strategically with other region now cos we can never produce a president in this country if we continue like this. While some misguided elements are busy shouting Biafra, and claiming that South south is part of their Biafra, the southsouth have denounced the whole Biafra thing publicly and I understand that just last weekend, Nyesom Wike of River State, named a stadium in River State after Yakubu Gowon. Does that not tell you something ? The golden rule says 'DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WILL LIKE THEM TO DO UNTO YOU'..... Love begat love, hate begat hate. Don't expect love from others when you give them hatred, don't expect them to vote for your candidate when you keep calling them animals that live in the zoo. "Give and it shall be given unto you" whatever you give to others is what they will give back to you GOOD MEASURES, PRESSED DOWN, SHAKING TOGETHER AND RUNNING OVER. He who has ears let him hear, Wisdom is profitable to direct.... I rest my case... Lemme just tell u now, if u like love the whole north, one thing remains sure, they won't love u back neither will they allow u produce a president. |

Not saying women should not maintain their bodies though. that's a natural flirting man. irrespective of how fit and beautiful his wife is, he still looks out. The main thing there is, make sure u kw what ur man needs before marriage. lot of men/women look out cos their husband/wives turns something different after marriage. |
