Okay, thanks a lot for this.
So this means that they can only influence the child after conception (between human man and woman), correct?
Jinn sperm can also affect a child before conception if it somehow mixes with the human sperm before conception. This happens sometimes when a couple do not pray before having sex, the jinn has the ability to sleep with a woman at the same time as her husband. In this scenario there will a strand of the jinn DNA in the foetus during conception, we should note that it wasn't the jinns sperm that actually led to the conception, but a part of it mixed with the original human sperm that led to the conception.
Children like this are often very stubborn and sometimes have bad behaviours.

Sheikh Isa Akin dele narrated his experience during Ruqya on a lady who has not given birth but she already looks like "adelebo". During Ruqya, a male Jinn inside her claimed the lady is his wife and that she already has 4 kids for him. While Sheikh is talking to the Jinn the lady's breast started shaking up and down. Sheikh asked what's that?. Jinn said her babies are breastfeeding that's why her breast dropped like adelebo. Sheikh Akindele said this is a new experience for him.

But the clause here is that the babies are Jinn. Their "mother" doesn't see them. That's, she doesn't have kids physically in this planet earth. The reason she came for Ruqya was because men picked her and dumped her. Obviously this is due to the Jinn (oko oru). This is why I'm not sure of Balkis being half human/Jinn.
My sheikh, you know jinns lie a lot.
There is a chance the jinn was lying.

Salam Alaikum and Jumma Mubarak, Alhajiemeritus and Everyone.

@ Alhajiemeritus, could you please expand further on this, please?
No doubt, this is a contentious topic but it would be very beneficial to learn from others' point of view/reasons.

Thank you.
Wa alaykum Salam wa rahama.
Jinns can have sex with humans (males or females) but it can not lead to pregnancy because of our genetic incompatibility.
Fertilization only takes place when it involves 2 highly similar species.
Since we are highly dissimilar with djinns, fertilization can not take place even when there is sex involved.
Allahu Alam.

I have a big problem I separated with my wife because she was a witch and the cause of my downfall. I had the custody of our daughter who is now 1 years 6 months old.

After getting rid of the witch I taught my business will be better than before but no. Things become even hard for me I started experiencing body pain and unknown sickness and we have been to church where I was told my daughter Is a witch her mother has given her the mission to kill me.

After prayers and fasting my health is getting better now and I have been to 2 different churches just to confirm that my daughter is a witch and yes it is true. I have packed her stuffs and i took her to her mother but she is doesn't stay there anymore and I don't know her new address. I am not a wicked person but I don't want her in my house because I don't want to harm her and regret it. What do I have to do with a witch?

Thank you for replying and I look forward to reading more of your views on this.
Do you believe that there are instances that requires one to have a living Sheikh or it's just not necessary in your view?
Ibn Khaldun didn't really say a Sheik is not needed in it's entirety. This can be observed in his description of the three cycles of mujahada. None of the previous scholars also completely denounced books as a source of spiritual knowledge. He even emphasized that a spiritual master is necessary in the third cycle which is mujahadat Al Kashif. The only issue with Ibn Khaldun is that he had issues with some sheikhs such as Al Arabi, he claimed some of their texts were full of Life and innovations. Ibn Khaldun had an issue with the Wadat Al Wujud concept espoused by Al- Arabi and his cohorts. This was the major sentiment that was carried into his examination of any of their works. Ibn Al- Arabi made some spurious claims which led to his harsh condemnation by Ibn Khaldun , for example he claimed to be the seal of saint hood.
His theory of the perfect man seems problematic too, although I don't fully understand it. Ibn Khaldun also had his own issues, he didn't believe in the Mahdi, he claimed all Mahdi hadiths were forged.
I believe it's better people know the kind of sheiks they follow. If a sheik follows a controversial doctrine, it's better to revert back to the Quran and Sunnah.

No brother don't get it twisted. A Muslims must forever be ready to learn from anybody (Muslims) in as much is the TRUTH. This is what Allah says in the Holy Quran that blessed are those who listen to talks and follow the best Hassan. You must be ready to extract truth anywhere and hold it with your molar teeth. That's why the Holy Prophet (saw) wisdom are lost property of a Muslim we should take wherever will find it.

You see, my understanding of Sufism is like someone going for his PhD program, you can't compare that with just a high school or undergrad students. So there will be a time in which you will need a guide, sort of advisor that will guide you. One of the main problem in Sufism is those that are yet to understand the basic Islamic jurisprudence are directly moving to mysticism, it breeds nothing but nosensical we are seeing in Sufi nowadays. For me it's natural evolution of man's spiritual yearning which come effortlessly when you drift in that direction.

That's why the question arise, how will you even get a good guide nowadays where majority of the so called sheikhs are not that different from the muridi.

Lastly, the ultimate guidances come from Allah and his messenger, that is why even those that have physical or non living sheikhs have unbroken chain to the prophet. And sometimes have direct contact with holy Prophet(saw) and receive guidance from him thru uwaysis phenomenon.
Hmmm
Let me digest Ibn Khaldun's argument first

Wow! You brought back my memory of two decades ago where I normally used all my library tickets (5) to collect Islamic literatures/books like the one you shared now, while I am an engineering student. Such is the level of my "addiction" to Islamic materials then lol.

I will have to read these screenshots in details and slowly. But from the what I can remember and a short answer to your questions.

#1 It was unanimously agreed in Sufi circle that a guide (murshid) is always needed for muridi to grow spiritually. And there is a popular slogan then that "Those that don't have a guide would have Satan has their murshid". This is later divided into two.
A. Those that have living guide
B. Those that are guided by the Ruh of "dead" Sufi Sheikhs or Living without physical relationship often called uwaysis phenomenon.

This phenomenon can be be seen in mostly all Sufi orders with physical murshid-muridi relationship. And some people without any know physical guide but are nurture by previous sheikhs. The likes of ibn arabi sheikh Akbar as fondly called has no living guide, Abu yazid bastami, Kharaghani, Shirindi etc.

Also the one we're familiar with Shehu AbdulQadir jelani, Shehu Ahmada Tijanniy (though has some living guide before transitioning to non living just like Shk. Shirindi) and Shehu Ibrahim Niyas. etc.

#2. Ibn Khaldun criticism of Ibn Arabi and the likes is well founded because the theories and concept ibn Arabi was dishing out was extremely esoteric that even elite find it controversial at time especially his infamous "Wahadahtul wujuhu". And you see this where imam Ghazali come clean from all of then that is impossible to always explain most of these Marifa in worldly languages. Is like trying to put an Ocean in a bottle is very difficult, no matter how much you try. To be contd...
I may disagree with you a bit.
In my opinion learning from students of different Sheiks make those sheikhs your sheikh too, because you are following their path.
For example Prophet Muhammad is our grand Sheikh, once we are linked to him we do not really need to have a living Sheikh.
Do you get my drift?

Barrister026:
My dad called me on the phone 2 days ago asking if I be coming home for the holiday, which is unlikely of him, because I just left home not quite long and he hardly call. (I school within our state, studying law)..... while we were on the call he mentioned about the Dr appointment. (We normally do routine check-up every 2 months )

Throwing the question to me if I even know my blood group. (I replied, no)
At FIRST I thought it's just a normal question.

Am 21yrs old, eldest among 3 siblings and I think my dad has something planned out, he's an Internet freak even more than I, he's actively online on twitter, facebook, and seeing all the uproars about DNA test here and there on Nairaland, I think he's going to ask me to come to the hospital with him disguising it as me Knowing my blood group (for a DNA test.)

The thing here is am scared, because all my life I have seen people saying never to trust a woman (I love my mom, but still am scared)

What if it's a DNA test (which I strongly believe it is)
What if it's turns out complicated
Would he still accept me? Or abandon me to myself.
So many thoughts running through my head, they are reasons for that.

He's black, I am fair (though my mum says I took his father complexion)

Pls help me...am thinking to stay back in school or go home This evening.
Am confused.
Lol
I think you'll know if you are really his son.

Salam Alaykum all.
I like this thread that's why I like coming back here.
It's full of wisdom.
Please tell us about Khodams ya sheiks, and if you wish, give us the special prayers of each surahs.
I know about the Khodam of Ayatal Kurisiyi, they call it Seyiddi Kandiyas.
It is believed that there are different Khodams which are guardians of various verses of the Quran and various Arabic letters.
SHEIKS in the building, should we continue with this thread or should we create another thread for this?
Thank you all.
