Ola edo:sorry ola edo, was this directed to you ![]() is that nigerian history or propaganda lies accompany with the lies your parents have been telling you i am a pro-nigerian not a pro-biafran ok what nigerian history are you talking about,,, that biafrans were killed by the so called evil nigerias, is that your nigerian history ![]() |
Mukina2 and Seun, i love this site just like millions of others that read comment on this site even if they are not registered to nairaland i admire the work and commitment made by nairaland staffs and mods there has been something really destroying this website, and i think people who are reading commitments on this site are getting tried of. the issue of biafra is really the problem here; some of my igbo brothers on this website have been make propaganda's, lies and all sort off other things to make northerners and other nigerians look bad in the face of the outside world. the pictures posted in the crime section is an example of sure, for the past 2 weeks now everyone have been enjoying nairaland because it few ethnocentric people sure as some of my igbo brothers have been out of this site other nigerias sure as yorubas, kanuris, hausa, igala, ijaws, itsekiri, edo, fulani, beroms, etc have been enjoying this site and all it's contents; but each time SOME of my igbo brothers start there ethnocentric views such as "igbo this biafra that" it just spoils the mode of the site. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-582396.192.html#msg7539428 this trend is now making non-nigerians that know nothing about biafra or non of there family die in biafra are now talking about how evil nigerians are. this is not proper for the image of nigeria at all, this site is for "nigerians and FRIENDS of nigeria" not friends of igbo, yoruba or biafra i do not think it is proper for biafra war to be displayed almost every day on this site as it is bad for the image of the site and also bad for the image of nigeria and africa please i appeal to SEUN and MUKINA2 to do something about it images of biafra war will non bring peace on others but bring hate and strife to others about there neighbouring country men |
Akhenaten:lol, she is igbo but i am not igbo because i do not support your views,, this is quite funny so she is unbiased, when clearly she does not know her history look i am not ready to agrue with you, is it not her that have and igbo decendant just like bk/babe, alj harem, and her me and bk/babe do not support this propangada you people are doing on this site and her because she support your views, she unbiased,,,, i no get time for you people today |
Sorry to inform you but don't give a damn how you feel about me or my opinions because they are just that. . .MY opinions. I AGREED with what OTHER Nigerians on here were saying and I find it quite hilarious you decide to pick on me and tell me (like the rest of the ignorant tards on here who share this view>> to "stay out of Nigerian affairs" when the OWNER OF THIS SITE clearly says it is for Nigeria and FRIENDS OF NIGERIA. I have read some threads on here about foreign affairs and your opinions about other people, should that give me a reason to go around reporting and demanding that you all focus only of Naija issues? Grow up. It's because of that schitty line about my Jamaican self needing to mind my business why i didn't even bother to read the rest. For your information, it may not be important you but my ancestors were slaves and many of whom were Igbo, with that having been said at least I have enough common sense to know that the troubles in western and central Africa are DIRECT links to the after effects of the slave trade and the western imperialistic influence that followed thereafter. So, therefore I am part of this issue whether you all want to accept it or not.
missy, did the owner of this site tell you that "biafra and friends of igbo biafra" look i really do not care were you are british or jamacian or any,,,,,,, you are not meant to talk about nigerian politics or history because you were not there you are not in nigeria none of your aancestorswere in the war i think you have been brain-washed by this web-site it is just funny how you view nigeria nowas i told you earlier, you really do not know what is going on nigeria or what when on in nigeria's past so stop this your "side taking" secondly, what does your ascestors got to do with this,,, i do not 4ing care if they were of igbo origin, ![]() i myself have an igbo origin and i tell you that biafran soilders killed them in cold blood ![]() so you that none of you people die in the war are here telling me about nigerians past,,,,,, it is funny isn't it ![]() look i will not insult you like you did to me all i am telling you is that do not come here and start jugding on what you know nothing about,,ok all you know is websites and nairaland were people like ezeuche and co have lied and lied and lied about the biafran history. i will advice you to just stay out of what you do not know anything about,,,ok |
Andre Uweh:why this ![]() |
good write up but must our tradition and culture survive aboard ![]() this is what change is all about; what has our tradition achieve for us over the past yrs why compare Nigeria with china and co when the country is better that ours i have seen igbo and yoruba children that did there primary, secondary school in nigeria and when they get aboard, they forget even there language,,,, this is not something new i even seen a yoruba mother that live with her children in lagos and here children can not speak broken english not to talk of even yoruba as a language. i have seen igbo parents in lagos that there children can not speak igbo but instead learn yoruba as there second language. so i really do not see the big deal in that, people can decide to teach or learn there languge or not; it is not really a big deal so long as you can communicate with the people around you ; be it english; there is no problem. |
afam4eva:ok; i hear you ![]() |
oracle1:can you tell me how the north is defeated ![]() is it because we voted for jonathan so you people will not post 1000 topics on NL ![]() a begi stop am ooo if na play is it you that defeated them,,,mumu think before you post |
afam4eva:is balysea and rivers not part of south-south how is this south-east ![]() |
macjive01:so is this your contribution to this thrend ![]() is the north not comprises of middle-belt ![]() is the north not larger than south (no tribalism)can you count the amount of roads in the north compare to even lagos alone so what are you talking about ![]() |
jason123:no i do not think they are eastern ijaws ![]() but others are right including efik |
CyberG:thank you this guy is very clueless,, i have told him is not about north or south but about nigerian leaders he keeps lamenting about the samething over and over again |
^^^^ ![]() i think nairalanders get those quotes from the newspaper not the other way around ![]() |
At least you agreed that you are not sure. Middle belt states produce mainly legumes and not rice. Abakaliki is the largest producer of rice in West Africa. They should teach you that in primary school unless you are Tunmi who learns her own Naija social studies from oyibo. Do you know the so called goro eaten by the hausas as stimulant is produced mainly in Yorubaland yet people call it Hausa kola?.
not too sure, but goro will not serve as food if there is shortage of food |
There's indeed a collective lack of common sense or even a general deficiency in logical thinking amongst some of our leaders. The other day, the president said that each state lacking a tertiary institution, would have one during his 1st term in office - as if it would solve the comatose state of higher eduction in the country. What about the already-existing Universities? What programs does he have to ensure that they're better standardised and reflect 21st century higher education instead of merely increasing the number of institutions? How would this airport be viable economically? Bayelsa state is not even a commercial/business state. What about ensuring economically viable airports such as Enugu's or Asaba's renovation and development are sped-up. If he intends to spend money in Bayelsa, surely he should come up with better projects which are beneficial to the state's populace.
![]() but you are absolutely right |
asha 80:but it will give the SE 6 states which means more delegates and more voting power ![]() yes i really do not think ngwa state will make economic difference since other igbos eg aro can come and stay in this state ![]() also, i believe is to there advantage if other clans of igbos can come to there state so as to boast there economy |
redsun:are you going to kill him |
Akhenaten:good one why can;t they use the money for good roads in the state rather than airport |
afam4eva:afam, i think most ngwas understand this. even in lagos, tinubu was the governor and he is not even a born lagosian I really do not think most ngwas feel this way, but i heard they want there own state,,,, i really do not know how true that is ![]() |
Amalaaba:my brothers, does it matter if it is ngwa or aro ![]() i think igbos and nigerians should unite ![]() |
mens dept:words every single state will have an international airport in nigeria soon |
Akhenaten1:gbamm what i am saying excatly i think it is just waste of funds |
odumchi: alj harem: odumchi:sorry brother, but i do not know were you are going to with this ![]() firstly, you say jonathan hail east now he speaks igbo but not igbo ![]() was jonathan not told he was an igbo man and given a title in ohaneze did he not tell ojukwu(smh) that he is an igbo man and ojukwu agreed to it ![]() secondly, who is stopping igbos from contesting but in nigeria and other states in nigeria ![]() did i not make it clear that i do not care if he is igbo, efik, tiv, yoruba etc ![]() i know u are not ethnocentric but u just want an igbo president,,,right ! the question is, why did igbos in PDP not produce there candidate for the primaries is it because they believe they can not win ![]() is APGA in going to produce a presidental candidate this election (maybe ojukwu); who will stop APGA from contesting this election if they produce an igbo candidate thridly, i ask why should an igbo produce a candidate because i thought we were NIGERIANS not igbo kanuri or yorubas why you talk of igbo, is as if they are different from NIGERIA; like how a mexican migrate isin america saying he wants to be the president after only spending 1 yr in america fourthly, all your history you have learnt is good for exam purposes only also i am happy you know your history well,,; good for you did you know ekeweme was once the vice-president of nigeria did you know nnamadi azikiwe was once the president of nigeria (although that is debatable since there was no election) ask yourself this question, when last as an edo person been the president of this country (never) are they complaining when last as a kanuri man been the president of nigeria (NEVER apart from abacha which as a coup) when has an ibibio person been the president when has an igala person been the persident ,.,.,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,etc and you are here talking about equality and fairness "hisses" it is not only igbos were have in the country ,,,,ok we have other groups in fact about 250 other group and non of them have whin like you igbos ON THIS FORUM i tire ooo |
I've read it many times. If you disagree tell us who produces rice most in West Africa.
not too sure but i think it is in the middle-belt of nigeria sure as niger state, benue and i am also sure of kwara etc but a good number is also grown in senegal and benin republic also ivory coast i have not really done the research but i think rice in nigeria is done in the middle-belt state |
SapeleGuy:thanks man finally |
chei!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Alhj, Cheer up. Airports are a good thing.
well we will see then if jonathan is not just wasting money |
^^^^ ![]() look if you already know that jonathan hail easterners, why and why should there be an igbo president not that i am against it in any form or way ![]() but does his ethnicity matters ![]() did you watch yesterdays primaries how many northern states voted for jonathan against atiku when ciroma said that he was going to march millions of northerners to abuja against jonathan, did northern people follow him ![]() look you are not only narrow minded but also an ethnocentric mumu,,, if you what to start this tribe is this and that, then there is nno point in me posting to you why not look outside the ethnic views and look into nigeria as a whole not only igbo igbo this igbo that igbo president igbo governor of lagos igbo military head etc i am getting fed up of you igbos on nairaland,, you guys are like spams on this site seriouslyi will advice you to listen to excanny it will do you a lot of good infact i bet u are either in lagos, south west nigeria, north nigeria , middle belt, or south-south ![]() if you love ONLY igbos so much, why not say in south east then, why move about ![]() a beg leave me alone, biko i no get your time |
now we have airport in lagos, aba, port harcount etc he is building in enugu and balysea,, why this is just waste of public funds ![]() |
