Like a curse upon the houses of the servants of darkness it rises almost imperceptibly. They that sowed seeds of death will reap hopelessness and despair. In their unclothedness, they will face the frailty of deceit in their desire to loot us clean. Natural justice will always be lurking. We continue to weep for hearts broken by incessant assassinations which stems from unquenchable avarice among our politicians. For all its worth, natural justice must prevail. |
SEFAGO:You are scared of your father because you are either a wimp or not mature enough to make your own decisions. I am not scared of my father and that has never made me commit crimes or even think about it. You should love your father and not scared of him. Is he kingkong or what? |
Beaf:I ask you again, What of all those criminals from poor background who terrorize hard working people everyday?. Why didn't their poor background put their eyes to the 'ground' as you put it?. |
Beaf:A lot of kids in Nigeria from rich homes live in houses more expensive than that. Did that make them turn into a monster?. There are also kids who come from wretched homes yet they terrorize fellow students at the university in the name of secret cult. What then is responsible for such behavior? |
How many Nigerian parents will report their 419 or terrorist child/ren to the appropriate authorities?. Farouk's parents are one in a million and nobody should blame them for anything here. |
Kelvinj:It's time we take action. |
chidichris:A very foolish comment indeed coming from a fellow Nigerian. |

He died on Thursday after being set ablaze by unknown assassins. [img]http://odili.net/news/source/2009/dec/26/sun/oyinlola[1].jpg[/img] Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola Mr. Jonathan Adebisi Ogundere, who was the oldest lawyer in the team, was abducted from his country home in Oyan, Odo Otin Local Government Area by some people, who drove him to a village called Igbotele and set him ablaze. The assailants were said to have asked him to give them some documents, before setting him ablaze. They left him burning in the bush, where he was discovered and taken to the state hospital, Osogbo. He died around 3pm on Thursday. The late Ogundere was called to the Bar in 1970 and was in charge of the secretariat of the legal team of the Osun State governor, in the on-going election litigation. The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the police and other law enforcement agencies to get to the root of the matter. In a statement by the state chairman, Alhaji Ademola Rasaq, the PDP charged the police to do a thorough job on the dastardly act, which he said smacked of dangerous politics. While commiserating with the family, the PDP vowed that it would do everything within the law to get justice in the matter. http://odili.net/news/source/2009/dec/26/503.html |
The Arabians can now heave a sigh of relief since Nigerian Negroes will also be stereotyped henceforth. |

Narain Dutt Tiwari, 86-Year-Old Indian Governor, Resigns After 3-Woman Sex Tape Surfaces HYDERABAD, India — The 86-year-old governor of a southern Indian state resigned, a day after a television news channel broadcast a tape allegedly showing him in bed with three women. Pressure mounted on Gov. Narain Dutt Tiwari to quit after the tape allegedly showing him in bed with three women was broadcast Friday, prompting the opposition and women's right groups to hold street protests in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh's state capital, demanding his resignation. Tiwari's office denied the allegation, denouncing the tape as fabricated. Tiwari, a veteran governing Congress party leader at the national level, sent his resignation letter to the Indian president on Saturday, citing health reasons, a state official said on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to talk to reporters. "The news channel report is fabricated, false and malicious to tarnish the image of the governor," said a statement issued by Aryendra Sharma, an aide to the governor. The three women were brought to Hyderabad by another woman who was allegedly promised a mining lease by the governor in return for sexual favors, ABN Andhra Jyoti News reported. The woman said she decided to expose Tiwari through a sting operation after he did not keep his promise, the channel said. A court stopped the channel from broadcasting the tape again later Friday after a petition filed by Sharma, who argued the video was "likely to demean and denigrate his office." Tiwari earlier served as the top elected official of northern Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand states and as a federal minister. (This version CORRECTS 4th graf to say Tiwari a national leader, sted state leader) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/27/narain-dutt-tiwari-86year_n_404172.html |

Detroit terror attack: Second Nigerian arrested on Amsterdam flight By NICK ALLEN A second Nigerian man has been arrested on a Northwest Airlines jet in Detroit 48 hours after Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to blow up an airliner sunday's flight - Northwest Airlines 253 - was exactly the same route that Abdulmutallab targeted on Christmas Day. The pilot alerted the authorities and the plane made an emergency landing and was met by police on its arrival in Detroit. The man, who is in his 30s, reportedly locked himself in a toilet for more than an hour as the plane flew over the US. Before locking himself in to the toilet the man had already been up and down to the same cubicle several times. Cabin crew became increasingly suspicious, broke the door down and dragged him out. He is then said to have become irate and verbally aggressive. He was subdued and the pilot contacted the airport to say there was an emergency on board. Emergency vehicles gathered on the runway to meet the plane. The passengers and crew were evacuated from the plane and the man was formally arrested. Officials said no explosive device had been found on the suspect. The man had boarded the flight with no luggage. President Barack Obama, who is on holiday in Hawaii, was informed immediately. White House officials said Mr Obama was to have further talks with his aides over airline security. However a senior US official told Fox News that the man arrested on Sunday was simply a “sick passenger”. Another official told CNN the incident appeared to be “non-serious” and that the disruptive passenger “does not appear to be a threat”. The FBI gave the all-clear within hours of the latest alert. Like Abdulmutallab, the passenger had flown from Nigeria to Amsterdam and then picked up Flight 253 to Detroit. Abdulmutallab, who had studied engineering in London until last year, disappeared into a toilet for a long period of time before trying to set off his device. The flight, which had 257 passengers and 12 crew on board, landed safely in Detroit at 12.35pm local time. The plane was removed to a secure area of the airport for additional searches by bomb experts. Police took the disruptive passenger into custody for questioning. An airline spokeswoman, Sue Elliott, said the passenger was "verbally disruptive". She added: "Out of an abundance of caution the flight crew asked the plane be met on arrival by law enforcement." © 2009 Telegraph.co.uk http://naijanet.com/news/source/2009/dec/27/1002.html |
spikedcylinder:Abeg come carry the car back. How much is it worth compared to the N10M per year pay package from GLO?. Dejo should be getting N5M of that money and extra change for alimony until he remarries. That's how it's done. |
spikedcylinder:Thank God you saw that. They throw the bomb first and when the igbos return fire for fire, they go back to their shells. Go through many threads here and check who started the ish first no matter how small. Sjeezy normally starts his own and end it with 'lol'. |
farochron:If she was harsh enough to stereotype Nigerian women are whores, she deserves anything she can get and I don't see how I was harsh because I just reiterated her allegation. If her mother and siblings are Nigerians, why separate them from her promiscuity allegation? |
She died very early in life. 61 is not a ripe age but may she rest in peace. Her death serves as another lesson for us the living that no amount of wealth can make us live above death. IBB can now live like a bachelor and may be join nairaland just to keep himself busy unless he is ready to date again which I doubt. RIP maryam. |
