You already stated some reasons why you see alot of written off IS250's. i am sure you are talking of the second generation IS250 (2005 - 2015), be mindful that the car is a compact sedan with alot of power; a V6 with top speed of 230 kph (143 mph) and and 0 - 100km in 7.6 seconds (a little bit faster as the years go by). It has a perfect 5 star rating in terms of crash tests done by NHTSA (National Highway Traffic System Administration) so that rules out any structural defects.

The reasons why you see them in such accidents are because:

- Is250/ 350 target audience are young people unlike its big brother ES350
- its the first car to some of its owners
- Its a fast car compared to your average commute
- The owners are the out going type & single, unlike ES350 whos owners are the conservative type & mostly family people
- The drivers are usually drunk or on drugs (intoxicated)

Now when you have a combination of a single, intoxicated, inexperienced driver with no responsibilities behind a fast machine feeling untop of the world because he has some money, what do you expect apart from beta accident??

This your post is just full of practical wisdom . Truly, IS250 is majorly for singles that are just handling fast cars for the first time in there life, so they tend to accelerate at any express road they hit

At this stage, i think you've done a good job in promoting your brand on this forum in a very short while, nobody has been able to pull that, and thats credit to you. At this stage, i think you should step back and employ a professional that will handle you PR, there is a reason it is a job spec, not for Directors.

Lastly, theres nothing wrong in apologising, Even when you think you are right for the sake of peace. Thats going above and beyond. In this case, you were in the wrong, nobody takes all blames, i sure know op has his faults, having been in the service business for years, i know what it is like dealing with customers.

I’ve watched a lot of reviews of the 07-12 Lexus ES350 on YouTube and most of them advised people to buy the 10-12 model year.

-My question is why?
-was there any problem with the 07-09 model year engine wise? Cos It’s the same 2GR-FE engine so what’s the difference?
-For the bosses that have used the 07-09 model year, what’s your verdict and opinion about the car generally?

Hello am sorry for bringing this here but I m confused don’t know what to do

I needed a gs350 so I approached a seller in Benin
The man gave me Lexus car that has gs350 on the back I paid a mechanic to check d car
The mechanic checked and said everything is ok aside the power steering that get stiffs

My problem

I tried fixing I had to take the car for diagnosis

The computer read that d car is gs300 not 350 and the manufacturing date is 2003 not 2008

The dealer lied that the car is accident free but it was detected that the had been involved in an accident already

I just got this car not even up to a week just 4 days
I messaged the seller he read but did not reply

What do I do pls advice

I don’t want to follow my mind because if I do I might end up paying hospital bills for everyone In that car stand pls help

before taking mechanic to checkup on a car, first step is to run a vin check... know this and know peace.
