bellong: 1. You will have to submit all the qualifications include your bachelors so you can get the maximum 20points from qualification. I can imagine how difficult it is getting transcript from some schools. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than getting ordinary transcriptHowever, you have to try all you can to get it.
Goodluck. fact of life, 4 weeks and counting now... |

mctowel01: I just heard they ve changed location, so I.might not be accurate. Anyway, its still the same closed fitted room, microphone and just that you are being watched from a glass in bellaz as against from a CCTV in Ukeas. No much difference honestly... just ensure you test the microphone properly and be satisfied with the output before beginning, irrespective of how the admin will tell you otherwise. cc Alphadoor Better to save that 8k then. Is it possible and advisable to front load medicals even before assessment result is out.
Am asking because it's likely a "bun in the oven" story might enter the equation before EOI.
I like to factor in all variables when I make my calculations.
...... thank you house |

Bnimz: 5 points from SA nomination.... Those occupations are on SOL, which means no state nomination required which means you have 70 points.
in addition, both occupations are pro-rata at 65 points. with 70 points, you'll jump the entire pro-rata queue and get invited immediately.. no waiting.
As for current employer... 189 gives you freedom to work in ALL STATES... that includes SA. @Bnimz Wawu..... Thanks Bro. This is a real eye opener..........Now I know better............ Problem shared is problem solved indeed 189 it is then. Can i lodge my ACS without my transcript (to be uploaded once its ready, school just resumed from strike) |

Bnimz: Computer network professionals
or Software and Applications Programmers
You studied Computer Science... surely you can do one of those two... They are both on SOL... pro-rata.. but then, you just calculated 70 points.,.... Thanks bnimz but I'm trying to avoid pro rata list... my total point is 75 or with this my high point does it mean I don't have to wait f 6months for ITA. I read somewhere that prorata means longerr waiting time My current employer has an office in adelaide that's why am shooting for SA nomination on on 190 |

nkechima: Please forgive me for always coming around only when I have some clarification make. My career episodes/ history in my own word, is it the same thing as my CV? Do I need to include work experiences that has nothing to do with my nominated occupation? For instance, if I work as an account in an organization and at the same time run a personal business(PB) but choose to migrate with my pb. Do I need to include my accounting experience in my CV? Visit your nominated occupation assessment body website for accurate clarification. you can also state the occupation, maybe i can help u look into it. |

Am afraid that is TRUE as at DECEMBER 2016 but this things are not set in stones, its a trend that is not stable

moniyet: Good day everyone,
Thanks to everyone providing guidance to us all here. May God bless u and the work of your hands, started reading this thread a few days ago but it will take weeks for me to complete so please forgive me if some of my questions have been answered. uestions are.......
Kindly advise please. AGE 32: 30 IELTS: 10 Work Experience: 10 or 5 or 0 subject to review by CPA/ICAA/IPA Partner: 5 Degree: 15
. Worst case scenario is that you will have 60 based on the above criteria, but you are good for 65, You can increase your Points by applying for your assessment soonest (before you turn 33) and also getting superior English score.the assessment body will advise you if " banking operations can be regarded as closely related to accounting occupation", so the earlier you start the better.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! abusaibu: Goodday house, pls is it possible for one to stay permanent in Australia with work permit?. Work permit usually accompanies a type of visa class. So it depends on the type of visa that gave you the work permit in the first place? check http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work for more info |

To everyone who is as bothered as i am about sourcing for AUD. The harsh reality is that its very difficult and time wasting. the elders in this forum have spoken. Option 1: success rate 100% / very fast and secured/ more expensive
The fastest way to go is DORM ACCOUNT funded with Black market and if u r lucky with BDC also. Option 2: Slow / susceptible to fraud/ Bearable cost Have a contact in Australia who is willing to exchangeAUD$ for the NGN which u will send to there relative locally
Option 3: Limited/ secured / Moderate Cost / susceptible to fraud Send Western Union/ Money-gram to a pal in AU, they can lodge the funds into the necessary accounts (either theirs or payee account) western union is limited to about $1000, not sure its per month or day. and u have to be in the bank by 6am cos the allocation gets exhausted by 8:05am. Moneygram is limited to 330,000 per quarter and its difficult receiving it in Australia. PS: I'm not an expert on these, am just sharing my findings , please feel free to correct me. Thank you all |

Vinsmuft: Please I have a question. During my assessment, ACS cut down my number of years of experience. Now when submitting EOI, I was asked to provide my employment details from start date to end date. Do I use the cut down version from ACS or do I put in the actual period of my employment details. Thanks! i cant say for sure, am yet to commence my assessment but however according my research and consultations , its better to go with ACS assessment so as to avoid conflict of information since all the steps are linked together. Also, how long did your assessment take. |
