What we dont understand is that the world/earth revolve around, when you render help to your fellow human, it will in return be rendered unto you in one way or the other whether or not we ask for help chikina. blueblood1: Hello Fam,
I need advice. I want to migrate to Australia but dont know if i stand a good chance. Below are my credentials
*I have an accounting degree, but worked as a banker for 10 years {thus, no accounting experience} : *I am 38 * my ielts scores for general are L8. 5, R7. 5, W7. 5, S7. 5 * I am married with 2 kids *I AGE: 25 BSC: 15 ENGLISH : 10 W/EXP: DEBATEABLE... others pls shed more light..... Can your partner Take an english test and get @ least 6 in all band, get assessed, less than 50 yrs....if yes to all.. then u can claim 5 points As it stands, you mark is 55 you can boost your point by securing 20 points in english (IELTS OR PTE-A) but that will take you to 65. Accounting is currently on the pro rata list, that means u need 70 points. However if your partner is between 25 to 32 (30points) , u can make him/her the primary applicant and that will put at 70.
State nomination also gives u 5 point if u don't mind visa 190
to clarify further on your work experience, if it works out well, u can get 10 or 15 points.... comb CPA/CA/IPA websites for accurate info
Overall, you stand a good chance but u have to do the right permutation |

diggy4real: @jukeblam...This is not encouraging at all for prospective applicant like me....since it is on Pro-rata ....does it mean one can't apply for 190 if one doesn't meet up with 70points or are States sponsoring 190 not considering mechanical engineers? Don't get it twisted sir, You can apply for 190 but you have checked the state requirements first to know their terms and conditions as each states's own differ |

Lets focus more on working harder to hit our mark. "20 pointer"

Buddie14: Thank you Alphadoor for your prompt response. I think i will consider a remark. Also, what if I decide to use only my BSc for assessment, any chance of +ve assessment?
Other gurus too abeg make una helep put mouth o! Sir, using B.Sc only is safer, as your years of experience will be longer. Based on your painted scenario, You will probably get a +ve assessment but Why worry so much about +ve assessment, when you've not even apply for assessment. IOM, Just apply and hope for the best, Negative vibes is not good oo, stay +ve |

Vinsmuft: My guy you are close. I'll also advise you to forget TOEFL. Just stick to PTE since you have already mastered the technique. I also did mine at UKEAS Ikeja but didnt have any system issues. It was people 'issues' as the Ukeas staff were distracting me with their office gist . Its really better than IELTS and may go for it again next week after I have assessed my options. Thanks boss Na PTE-A win am be that ooo. Straight to Bellaz @ surulere 4 60k |

Buddie14: Good day sir bellong, OmogeNg and other gurus in the house. Please I am in the process of assessing my skills with Vetassess but I have a little challenge which I am certain that this beautiful family will help provide a solution to. I have worked with 2 different employers in the last 10 years and I have been able to successfully get a reference letter from the employer whom I worked abt 8 years for. The other employer who also happened to be my most recent employer has refused to give me a reference letter. Please I will like to know if this will jeopardize my chances of getting a positive assessment. If yes, are there other documents I can submit as a substitute to reference letter? Your candid advice/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks The Document you need is called STATUTORY DECLARATION Search this thread for vinsmuft post on this for more details on it. |

I have 65 points already and my date of effect is very close so writing another PTE may not be necessary. what do u mean by date of effect? Does this mean waiting period? how long n what occupation. Me am still here waiting on my transcript like |
