Putindbutt:If you go on YouTube, you will see several fake videos from some IRRESPONSIBLE YouTubers who created that story. the highly insidious sympathizers of ip*b are LARGELY behind a lot of the fake stories online hyping up that Nnamdi. The DSS and other Intel agencies aren't doing enough to bring to justice a lot of the male and female non-state actors pushing out these FALSE claims and propaganda |
Pakute:It's brilliant that Nigeria has full support from the EU and the United Kingdom instead of relying on the passive-aggressive bullying tactics from the current POTUS (even some Republicans in interviews stated their surprise that Trump spoke almost condescendingly about Nigeria when high-level diplomatic contacts should have been made in terms of joint military operations with the sharing of military intelligence). Low-earth orbit satellites, surveillance and attack drones including some elements of biological warfare are needed in defeating the insolence of the foreign Fula militia bandits, the Lakurawa Tuareg bandits from Niger Republic and Northern Mali, and the BH and ISWAP menace in the Lake Chad Region. The Jihadi gangsters from JNIM operating in over half of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger have to be brought to a halt as well because the needed Russian intelligence and assistance hasn't helped those 3 countries currently under Military dictatorships. |
fobiflex:The Senator representing Yobe State passed on in July 2025. He will definitely be replaced with another credible person. Yobe State and her twin sister State of Borno have very educated, brilliant people both Muslims (and non-Muslims from the Southern parts of Yobe and Borno). I know these facts because I've been friends with folks from those areas right from the 1980s who are in senior positions as professionals and in politics. |
Giftimoni:The man in that video wants ONLY one person dropped - Reno will represent Delta State and Nigeria as an Ambassador. That rejection won't happen because President 'Bola Tinubu already forgave Reno Omokri (whose biological mother is a Princess of the Itsekiri royal family and related to Sen. Oluremi Tinubu whose mother is an Itsekiri married to an Ijebu man from Ogun State) after Reno as far back as 2022 CLARIFIED that the now President Tinubu indeed attended Chicago State University and isn't a drug baron (after he did further advanced investigations from the relevant U.S. authorities) like he FALSELY claimed. Tbh, Reno wasn't even the FIRST to start that propaganda of demarketing Tinubu. It started long ago, (way before 2014) with several NL threads created by ethnic bigots and trolls to demarket Tinubu in the 2010s and this was continued by the Peter Obi supporters on multiple NL threads in the 2023 Presidential election cycle and even after the elections, they continued to cast aspersions on Tinubu. The evidence is all over NL and other online platforms. |
Janosky:Thanks for explaining it succinctly to him. It's totally bad that some posters are ONLY here with their limited knowledge of medical innovations to just attack the Jehovah's Witnesess folks despite the FACT that as far back as the 1990s alternative methods to replace blood transfusions such as EPO have been created due to the recurrent episodes of innocent people getting infected with improperly screened blood in some countries leading to HIV, Ebola, Lassa Virus, Marburg and other zoonotic infections. You don't require blood transfusions if you don't want it as long as alternatives exist. People MUST learn to read to understand and I think the JWs have to further enlighten the public worldwide again that they aren't stupid BECAUSE alternative methods to replace blood transfusions exist! INFACT, based off of reading AWAKE magazine since the 1990s, the Jehovah's Witnesess are one of the MOST highly educated and scientifically aware Christian groups ever. The other Christian sect members that keep attack them as being "dogmatic" are the problem because they do NOT get themselves updated on events. I say this as someone who is not even a practicing Xtain. I hate hypocrisy of any kind tbh. |
Janosky:Succinctly stated. I'm 1000% on the same page with you. |
Omooba77:If Gombe has NO credible or qualified career diplomat or politically appointed diplomat designate, what can President 'Bola Tinubu do? Is Ali Ndume going to force him to create a space for Gombe State. Ali Ndume should STOP being a highly notorious wet blanket! Period |
Jakpon:@Jakpon You contradicted yourself in your post. The United States-based academic, Farooq Kperogi is NOT a Hausa man. He is from the Okuta community and is of the Bariba ethnic group (otherwise called Batonu ethnic group) of Kwara North in Kwara State. The Bariba ethnic group extends right from Kwara North into Benin Republic just like Yorubaland extends from North Central Nigeria, South West and parts of the South of South into Benin Republic and the Atakpame area of Togo. So, you are indeed correct that Farooq is a Bariba man (Batonu) BUT he isn't a Hausa man. Farooq is someone I've known for years now. |
politicoNG:This crash has unfortunately happened at the time when Nigeria requires more air platforms in her battle against the foreign Fula militia bandits (terrorizing indigenous Nigerian communities from the North to the South of Nigeria) and those other highly IRRESPONSIBLE jihadi gangsters from the Sahellian countries such as the Tuareg-led JNIM, BH and ISWAP which is the breakaway faction of BH. I recall that the versatile Alpha Jets have been in the service of NAF since the early 1980s so those jet fighters have really tried especially with the regular servicings from NAF maintenance crew and engineers. Air investigators have to ensure they know what happened here in order to mitigate any further plane crashes. Period. |
bixton:Indeed, the Car-T method of cancer treatment was used for her which itself is NOT "blood transfusion" in reality. The main thrust of creating the thread is to share some of the alternative non-blood transfusion methods that have been available since the 1990s. I'm really surprised at the confirmation bias, and circular reasoning among a lot of uninformed posters here who think it's ONLY blood that you can medically use for transfusions. People have lost the urge to creatively read, take part in continuous education and understand situations through cognitive engagements. If Erythropoietin (EPO) is readily available in that country (Nigeria), then that's OK. She can use that EPO as an alternative since it's one of several methods long recommended by her JW Church based off of the AWAKE magazine I read back in the 1990s. EPO is just one out of several forms of non-blood transfusions that doctors have recommended as alternatives. Last but NOT least, I have NEVER been a member of JW neither am I a Christian BUT I know the JW adherents to be very educated folks who embrace modern scientific breakthroughs and good business ethics as seen in some of their AWAKE magazines that I still have in my home libraries since the 1990s. The JW folks indeed have a right of choice to choose what is BEST for them and do have a very STRONG point in the sense that improperly screened blood especially in developing countries and underdeveloped countries have led to the massive spread of HIV, Ebola, Marburg, Lassa Virus, hepatitis variants, and more. |
dominique:@dominique I appreciate your pushing this important thread that I created to the NL front page. The new NL spam bot actually deleted the thread post yesterday which got me pissed off, BUT I was surprised to see just about I hour ago after I logged in that you had restored it and even moved it to the NL front page. NOW, the main thrust of my posts on this thread and the other one is to simply share some of the non-blood transfusion methods that have been readily available since the 1990s that I'm aware of. BUT reading through this thread and the other one on the female shopper who is a JW member shows that a lot of posters are still highly ignorant about several alternatives to blood transfusions which doctors have long endorsed worldwide since the 1990s. If one of the non-blood transfusion alternatives such as Erythropoietin (EPO) is readily available in Nigeria, then she can use that as an alternative since it's one of several methods recommended by her JW Church based off of the AWAKE magazine I read back in the 1990s. EPO is just one out of several forms of non-blood transfusions that doctors have recommended as alternatives. Second, the JW folks have a right of choice and have a very STRONG point in the sense that improperly screened blood (especially in developing countries and underdeveloped countries) have led to the wide spread of HIV, hepatitis variants, Ebola, Lassa Virus, Marburg Virus, and other zoonotic diseases. Cheers. |
thesicilian:Indeed, you've said it succinctly. I've NEVER been a JW member BUT I RESPECT them a lot because of the modern scientific breakthroughs and more they publish in their AWAKE magazine (some of which I still have stacked as part of my home libraries since the 1990s). JW folks are NOT semi-literates from studying them and they are even open to modern scientific discoveries, modern methods of agribusiness, archaeology and travel news, ethical business and more. JWs are NOT conservative folks contrary to what some uninformed posters are posting here and on another NL thread that is currently on the NL front page. There's a lot of needless confirmation bias in some people's thinking and posts here. The world has long moved away from blood transfusions since the 1990s, BUT I'm surprised that many are still fossilized in their ways of thinking that ONLY blood transfusions can be used. This is what I FIRST got to know as well from that AWAKE magazine back in the 1990s and then I immediately logged on to the Internet to do more research and found out that indeed, scientists had developed and were still developing alternatives to blood transfusions in research labs to prevent the spread of hepatitis variants, HIV, Ebola, Marburg, Lassa Virus, and other kinds of horid zoonotic diseases. As of 2025, by simply typing right now into any search engine: "alternatives to blood transfusions" a significant array of search results would pop up. Cheers. |
grandstar:@grandstar That's a highly impressive post from you. I didn't realize that you are a JW adherent. Because of this new low-budget anti-spam bot, I had to simultaneously switch from my older NL account to this one. Though not a JW, I once read a copy of AWAKE back in the 1990s where an article was published about the use of "non-blood transfusion alternatives" such as EPO and more. JW folks aren't ignorant people and it's totally IRRESPONSIBLE for anybody to start casting online aspersions on you folks because you refused to take blood transfusions especially NOW that fortunately alternatives exist to prevent the spread of hepatitis variants, HIV, Ebola, and other zoonotic diseases. Incidentally, after posting my thoughts on the use of EPO on this same NL thread, I created a new NL thread on a US-based girl who got treated for cancer using a modern alternative method. The NL spam bot deleted it yesterday BUT just as I logged in to NL less than 1 hour ago, I saw that @domi.nique had moved the thread to the NL front page. There's indeed a need for you JW folks (who I respect for publishing interesting topics and scientific breakthroughs in AWAKE magazine right from the 1990s when I read the first ever copy) to let these uninformed people out there to know that YOU guys have alternatives to prevent these people from insulting you guys based on their own limited knowledge. I still have older copies of AWAKE in my home libraries despite NOT being a JW or Christian. I respect you guys in JW more than some other Xtian sects or denominations who are NOT scientifically oriented tbh. Cheers. |

Chilipepper:This is a non-issue. The Jehovah's Witness adherents have an alternative method to "blood transfusion" which does NOT involve the exchange of blood so she can try that out by having it imported for her. I read about that alternative to blood transfusion [Erythropoietin (EPO)] in one of the published copies of AWAKE over 25 years ago and it was very revealing. So, she should go for that option. Erythropoietin (EPO): A synthetic hormone that stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells. |
ogododo:Then the intelligence agencies MUST urgently work with Starlinks (and other satellite-based telecom services) which has several of it's satellites in space within the Low-earth orbit region to track those foreign Fula militia vandits and jihadi groups across the Sahelian countries of West Africa down. Period. |
Eriokanmi:Look here @Eriokanmi You're repeating this same FALSE claims for the second time on this NL thread page. NOBODY is going to be "dethroned" after the now President 'Bola Tinubu's dynasty or whatever you call it ends. These are figments of your wild imagination. What are you planning to do? Assassinate the Obas? The reigning Oniru of Iru in Iruland (Iruland being the ORIGINAL Yoruba name of Victoria Island) for instance was Tinubu's ADC when he was the Governor of Lagos State BUT he will last his course as the Oba till death. Period. |
Nowahala01:A deeply insightful.post right ABOVE. First off, I want this attitude of calling folks and sections of the media referring to the THRONE of an Oba in Yorubaland or elsewhere as a "stool." It's deeply demeaning to say that because aside from the Ashanti of Ghana, NO king in Yorubaland sits on a "stool" BUT on a THRONE. Second, however Epe LGA in Lagos State is ALSO part of the larger Ijebuland which extends from Lagos State right into Ogun State. Ibeju-Lekki LGA and "Ikorodu" LGA, Ajah, are ALSO extensions of the larger Ijebuland that were carved out of the Old Western Region on May 27, 1967 by General Yakubu Gowon's military government to create the new Lagos State... With over 95% of the current land mass of the current Lagos State being carved out from the original Old Western Region (including Ikorodu, Epe, Ikeja, Ibeju-Lekki, Ojo, Badagry, Orile Iganmu, Mushin, Isolo, Oshodi, Ilupeju, and more) led by the dynamic Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, GCFR, SAN, and his team of innovative thinkers. My question is this: Is it possible that Wasiu's father might have become a naturalized indigene of Ijebu-Ode despite being originally from Epe? Could it be that his family lineage ORIGINALLY migrated from Ijebu-Ode to Epe in the 1800s and then he returned. I write these BECAUSE I know full well that back in the 1800s, many Yoruba folks moved a lot from one Yoruba community to another due to the unfortunate Yoruba Civil Wars and quest for new lands to settle on. Part of the warrior Owus for instance settled in Abeokuta (Owu-Abeokuta), while some other Owus settled in Ijebuland and are known as Owu-Ijebu people as of today. The warrior Egbas were originally the indigenous people of Ibadan before migrating out in 1830 under Chief Sodeke from Ibadan to establish Abeokuta and settle in the nearby environs. All the BEST to all Ijebu folks in the impending selection of the NEXT Awujale of Ijebuland by whatever legitimate means. |
Omihanifa:You do NOT contest for a "stool" in Yorubaland or anywhere, you contest for the THRONE as an Oba. Period. |

24news:Mrs. Oghogho Christopher Musa who from her name is a Benin-Edo or Esan-Edo woman from Edo State ONLY curtsied/genuflected which is a standard mode of greeting by females in some of the Niger Delta communities, among the indigenous Yorubas of West and Central Nigeria right into Benin Republic and Togo... and more. So, those highly irresponsible young male posters right on Page 1 of this thread who are castigating her MUST know that Nigeria isn't a culturally monolithic country and has over 300 DISTINCT ethnic groups with different cultural practices. Those insidious boys of South East of Nigeria origin on Page 1 of this NL thread who are criticizing her and others MUST learn to RESPECT other ethnic groups' or people's centuries-old cultures. There's a prominent White woman who I read visited Nigeria a few years ago and she being culturally aware as a well-traveled person to many countries of the world was fascinated and highly impressed by the way women curtsied for elders on her visit to Lagos State and a few other cities. Mrs. Florence Fatima Ajimobi whose biological father is a Lebanese Arab and her biological mother is an Urhobo was recently at the Palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja and she was seen in pictures posted right here on NL where she curtsied for the Oba of Ibadanland. Period. |

nairalandankrah:This minority Fula dude named Nasir El-Rufai whose Fula forebear originally migrated from Guinea to Nigeria according to El-Rufai after the so-called Fula jihad is rambling too much and saying banal things in order to be politically relevant. It's time to put Nasir El-Rufai behind the curtain or bars where he truly belongs for overseeing the payment of millions of Nigerian money to foreign Fula militia bandits from Cameroon and Niger Republic who killed innocent Southern Kaduna people instead of getting his fellow Fula cousins arrested and brought to justice. General Christopher Musa MUST ensure that justice is done for his Southern Kaduna folks in bringing Nasir El-Rufai to maximum justice for his 2017 confession that he paid money to foreign Fula militia bandits (cum herdsmen). |
