BAMBAMbiglow:I don’t need any link because I have a good understanding of what happened. Nigeria withdrew from the contest at the last hour so as not to allow West African votes to be divided. We supported Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire and they both won. Get the context and stop spreading fake news. |
Nigeria did not contest the election. This is all false.
|
mrvitalis:You’re asking very silly and irrational questions. He was indicted way back in 2016 and since then, he has refused to go back to the US to answer to the charges leveled against him. If he did no wrong, why not advise him to go and defend himself in America? At least, they have a fair and functional judicial system in America that is not corrupt and under the control of Igbo hating Yoruba CJN. He’s guaranteed a free and fair trial. He should go and defend himself or be extradited by the FG based on the extradition treaty between the two countries. |
FG should simply step in and help him negotiate a plea deal. In the overall interest of Air Peace, he should immediately step down as the CEO of the airline. |
What’s there go challenge after losing woefully? You lost fair and square so no need dramatizing the fact that you want to accept the result and move on. I can bet if he wasn’t a candidate in the election and the outcome was the same, he would be one of the lawyers urging the defeated candidate of LP to file useless claims in court just to get paid. That was how they filed useless claims including the senseless 25% in FCT against Tinubu despite knowing fully well it won’t fly in court. |
naijaboy756:PMS price can’t destroy Nigeria. On the other hand, failure to stop the subsidy regime at a time when 97% of our revenue goes into debt servicing would have destroyed Nigeria. Nigeria can’t afford to borrow to keep PMS price low again. |
Atiku should shut the fvck up. Things are hard no doubt we all know why. Marker forces will determine the price of PMS going forward as advocated by all sensible economist. The war in the Middle East between Israel and her neighbors have pushed up the price of crude oil and we can’t be isolated like the rest of the world. If crude prices get down, PMS price will go down as well. Market forces and nothing else. The alternative is to borrow money to pay subsidy and that’s a no no. The subsidy regime is gone for good. |
Na him Money? Kukah should shut up and mind his business. |
Already tired of Rivers State drama. |
What’s there to even appeal? Nenadi’s caretaker committee was a product of illegality to start with. It was not constituted by the party’s NEC or any known organ of the party. It’s just a joke taking too far and nothing else. LP may go into extinction with the way things are going. |
CSTRR:Which law gives a governor the power to tell Mr President that a minister cannot represent his state? |
Apcshyte:Which section please. |
Recall of minister? Which section of the constitution gives the governor the power to request for the recall of a minister? You clowns joke too much I swear. |
This story is a complete fabrication by People’s Gazette. |
Macdevann:It’s the right thing to do whether good or bad. With this, Dangote will be more accountable. The shady deal with NNPCL will no longer be there as the refinery will now have to sell to multiple marketers at a rate that is known to everyone. Again, NNPCL will no longer be able to fix PMS prices. Market forces will dictate the price and we shall all see who is responsible for high prices. |
This one na election? Election wey Fubara dey conduct na him be election for una mind? I swear, obidients and Wike haters too mumu. |
He got what he deserved. Why old man go dey do Cho Cho Cho for matter wey no concern am? |
Obaseki never leave office them don dey show an shege 🤣🤣 |
He wants to finally admit that tithe is a scam? |
I thought they said the Iranian missiles did not hit any target. |
Brendaniel:And that makes sense to you? If you tell me that Yoruba cannot be president this year and I also respond that Igbo can’t be president ever, what’s wrong with that? When you show hatred to someone, don’t cry about how the person reacted. |
Brendaniel:How does “No to Yoruba presidency” sounds to you? |
Brendaniel:How old were you when Igbos published this in all national dailies in Nigeria?
|
Brendaniel:Nigga, you’re talking absolute nonsense. Igbos have been attacking Yoruba political interest since the pre-colonial era. Azikiwe did everything possible to ensure Awolowo never became Prime Minister or President. Igbos voted massively against MKO in 1993. In fact, they voted for a guy who lost his home state to MKO. Thereafter, they led the movement for the annulment of the election. Arthur Nzeribe went to court on behalf of ABN to get a kangaroo court order to stop the announcement of the result. Igbos youths led by Godwin Kanu then organized the Youth Earnestly Asked for Abacha group to drum support for Abacha to become life president while MKO was in detention. So, stop accusing Tinubu of dragging Yoruba into his politics. Politics in Nigeria has always been mixed with tribalism and Igbos are the worst especially when there is Yoruba interest to be attacked. Finally, Peter Obi is currently the worst tribalist of this era. He’s the one who came out solely as an Igbo and Christian candidate. He campaigned only in churches and Igbo dominated market. He messed up Igbos chances of ever becoming president anytime soon. If you all know what’s good for you, you will lead a revolution to get Peter Obi expelled from Igbo land and Nigeria. |
hedonido:The fact that irritants like you now roam around the forum attacking just anyone for their opinion without getting banned by the Obidient moderators says a lot about how low the forum has sunk into. |
BATified23:All major APC supporters have been banned on Nairaland. The forum is now an echo chamber for the anti APC forces. Only negative news about the president makes it to the front page. So, don’t blame people for moving to Twitter where there is a level playing ground for everyone. |
Good move. God bless Mr. President and his team. |
He will not win the Anambra governorship election. Soludo will be massively re-elected. |
What’s the precedent in this case? Has any incumbent speaker been conferred with GCON before? |
