nkem Kalu: This man that calls himself Alusi OKIJA is simply not an Igbo man.....he is an Hausa man who has come to do boy boy work for the Igbos and in the process he stole some Palm fruits in IgboLand and quickly adopted the name "ALUSI OKIJA" and he is now claiming IGBO, just like JONA EBELE who ran to Igbo land on exile during the BIAFRAN war and adopted the name EBELE AZIKIWE.....so that the Original Igbos will not use him for pepper soup......hahahaha. I don't blame the late IKEMBA of Nnewi who once said that anybody who will represent IGBO interest must be a full blooded Igbo man and not those whose PAPA PAPA MAMA are from Igbo and their MAMA MAMA sister is from HAUSA land, and their Great Mama Mama Papa is from Yoruba land. Onlytruth: My friend here you go again!
When we call you "onye ugwu" you would become offended.
What evidence were they caught with? BOMBS?

You don't know how deranged you sound sometimes. sad
Nwokem cool down.

The evidence I was talking about was those uniforms.
Now if the Biafran Paraphenelia was allowed in Nigeria, how come we didnt see a single Biafran color at Ojukwus funeral?!
Nwanne, let us always stand for the truth no matter whose ox is gored.
If they were caught with bombs, terrorism charges could also be added.

I'm just spell it out in black and white. Not taking sides.

And I read your response to the fellow on freedom of speech. Even freedom of speech/expression has limitations. #JustSaying

Dede1: It is only in your world of knowledge or lack thereof that wearing memorabilia is regarded as treason. There are many people in USA that still fly the Confederate flag and no court has ever send anybody to jail. I seriously think Nigeria should go. By the way, do you actual understand the concept of treason?

Boko Haram has exhibited the act of treason yet certain moronic dingbat such as you have not shouted, “Shoot them Thats a treasonable offense”.
Tisk! Tisk Tisk!!!!

You still are having those anger issues!! I hope you still have enough Valium & zanax to last you till 2015?!! lol

Anyways, Boko Haram does not justify Mossop. No matter how you try to make it sound, The fact that I killed someone with a gun does not make food poisoning any less of a crime as I have commited.

Boko Harams act is also high treason... And they all deserved to be gassed.

Funkymallam: Oga Femi, its not just that.
The problem is how Gbawe presented the issue.

1. What is d amount of power to be generated? The real report says 15kw but he said it is more but have refused to tell us the amount.
2. How can u contributr N300m to a power project that will give u a power, that even a normal gen can supply. Is it not fraud?
3. Why is d funding frm Osun state only being reported by only Osundefenders and not any other daily?[/b] Or are all the dailies beefing him?
4. What is the time frame for the completion?
5. This project wasnt initiated by Osun state, yet it is termed 'O Power'. Is that not misleading?

Plenty questions and no answers to them, rather d op s going about writing long epistles and derailing his own thread with shameless accusations.

nkem Kalu: This judge and the Police has no job. They are the miscreants and not the MASSOB members. What has that judge and POLICE done about BOKO HARAM and NIGER DELTA MILITANTS talkless of huge number of armed bandits and Kidnappers all over Nigeria. What about the reckless stealing and looting in government where a former governor who stole billions and was discharged and acquitted or have we forgotten the CECilia Ibru that stole N90billion and was given only Six months in jail. It then means that the six Massob members offence is equal in size with that of IBRU cos they all have to serve six months. Arrant nonesence
Another senseless post by a poster that seems to reason like a child.

PoliticsRe: Govs Move Against Planned Removal Of Immunity Clause by AlusiOkija: 3:20pm On May 09, 2012
egift: Kanda, I do not like the immunity clause. One of the reason I supported Buhari is that apart of strengthening regional integration, the removal of the clause was one of his main proposal.

I will welcome any effort to remove it, but it seems you are forgetting in a hurry how you bad-mouthed us when millions of us hit the street to protest the removal of subsidy.

Soon if we go out to protest, you will not. Only to be on NL insulting everyone (does Bakare and Soyinka ring a bell in your mind - despite their efforts, you still despise and mock them as if they stole from you). Beaf you are in no position to call for protest, you my friend are a PDP Tool.
The Occupy Nigeria Protest was a protest in support of corruption.

This one is a rally for the removal of immunity, its different and benefits the nation.

The answer is simple;

Yoruba people are snakes. If the Igbos go to war with Cameroun tomorrow, best believe that the Yorubas would be in Cameroon offering tactical support. All they want to see is the downfall of Ndi Igbo.

Even the hausa man would be quick to apologise abd say it was because of this or that.... If you ever are in a fight and a Yoruba man is near you, kill the yoruba man first before you continue your fight. Atimes I woulder if those tribal markson their faces affect their brain. >:9

FamilyRe: Please Help Ayomide - An Abandoned Child by AlusiOkija: 8:43am On May 09, 2012
I think that this girl should have been used as a case study.

I am not too big on this but if we get like 5 people in their state to take their Blackberry/Iphones/Android phones and walk around and film, take still pictures and basically document the daily life of one or two of these street kids, we could hand it over to one of our Nairalanders here who could make a documentary that we could share to the world on the plight of the African child. These Politicians are busy stealing billions of Naira and Dollars, and then the senate president only remembers on his birthday to take a few bags of rice to one orphanage home, give them like 3,000 dollars (500,000 Naira), call NTA, Channels T.V and AIT to witness his 24hrs generosity/charitable work and then returns to his mansion and a comfortable bed at the end of the day and loots over 30,000 dollars the next day to recover what he just paid.

Oyedepo is busy buying jets in the name of evangelising to other countries when there are starving children in Ogun State where he has his Multi-billion Naira University, where he is planning on building his multi-billion dollar housing project for the rich, meanwhile a kid like this is barely a few hundred kilometer from him. He prolly drives past her in his fleet of luxury cars abd has his head to high up in the cloud to notice her miserable existence.

I am willing.

If Nairaland Charity wants to get serious, I am more than willing. It would be our own project. Save the future project. 1 child, 1 camera... Film and take as much pictures as you can. Interviews, and all. Then lets show this to the world. AL-jezzera and CNN would be more than glad to air it. I am not even advocating an NGO that solicits for money, but rather a stab at the government. What are they doing about this.

If she did this because of a man, then its an epic fail.

If she did this as a result of inferiority complex of any sort, then I understand and wish her the best.

I would personally had advised her to do some sugery of her black face rather than go all white. But like I said, if she feels better about herself now, then thats the most important thing.

You counsel on Hate, discrimination and neoptism have been duly noted and will be taken under advisement.

Just so you know though, all that anally r'aped stuff was just a figure of speech though. And I mean it. I have my reservations about the current governors of IMO state especially and Abia and I havent left anyone in doubt as to how I fee about him. Ebonyi is even worse than them. But thats not the subject matter of this discourse. You said something about commerce/Economic theories that say the factors that drive a market include;

-Proximity to Market
-Energy
-Security

e.t.c.

I couldnt agree more. But lets lay emphasis on "PROXIMITY TO MARKET". Is the market for most if not all Anambra State made goods actually Anambra State?! Like really?! Even its neighbouring states are not their target market. The truth is I really cant explain why most Factories you called all choose to open up shop in Anambra state.

Wait!! Maybe! Just maybe its because virtually all these companies you have liste are all owned by Igbo men of Anambra State decent more than any other thing... And maybe the only other economic factor would be 'Cheap Labour'. Dont you think thats the reason?! I mean, look at it, most of the front runners in Phamacuetical drugs are Igbo men. They are either owned by Igbo men or Igbo men have bought/signed the MOU with these companies to open up shop in Nigeria. I really do not believe that it is because of any real economic factor. Anambra State isnt the safest state in Nigeria, the roads are quite decent but the polity is volatile. It really isnt the ideal state for any business man to wanna open up a production company in for the following reasons;

-Security is poor.
-Accessibility to raw materials is equally poor and all Anambra State production/Manufacturing businesses (from Chikason plastics to Ogbuawa Motorcycles to Innoson) all import 85% of their goods which all come in through Lagos ports/boarder (air & Sea), Port Harcourt ports or Calabar port. And the road leading up to Anambra from these states arent that good and we dont have any working railways either.
-Anambra as at my last check have no special incentives for companies/factories and multiple...
-The market for goods produced in Anambra are not even meant for anambra market but for markets in far away lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and bigger cites around Nigeria and outside as well.
-Instability in the polity which does affects the economy of a state.

e.t.c

Like you rightly stated, Akwa Ibom is a poor state, infact, prior to the current administration, Akwa Ibom was only known for "MOBIL NIGERIA LIMITED EKET BASE", producing Okada men, Houseboys and house girls and witchcraftcy. Its this image that the current administration is working earnestly to change. Such change isnt over night. Thats why the government has even gone ahead of the change to make preparations to accomodate it so he doesnt suffer what Rivers State is suffering from now (poor future plans). It is without a doubt that Akwa Ibom is the next hot thing in Nigeria. If they finish their electrical project, I am sorry but the business that would go to that state would not be based on ethnic sentiments, but it would be an open market like what you have in Rivers State & Lagos.

I understand you, and get what you are driving at with the poverty eradication bit; which is providing jobs. But what you may also want to consider is that economics is a vicious cycle, if not properly followed, the wealth created in one sector would be drained in another. Example; The money gotten from working at these plants (@ minimum wage of 18,000) would go right back into the drain when they have to spend it on providing these basic amenities which the government should have provided for in the first place...
