Politics / My Opinion About The Whole South East Landlocked Noise!! by Amarabae(f): 12:34pm On May 20, 2020
Oriaku Amarachi speaks;
All these "South east is not landlocked" threads being created by some Igbo's here especially Igbos are not necessary,
what exactly do you want to prove, who do you want to convince?
why dragging an issue over and over again year to year especially on a platform like Nairaland.
let's get emotionally matured please,
the term Landlocked refers to an area that does not have a "DIRECT" access to the ocean via a sea,
and as long as I am concerned, South East Nigeria do not have direct access to the ocean but they do have some Rivers that flows into the Atlantic ocean but those rivers do not flow in directly because they pass through the territory of a south southern state,
Some have suggested dredging and expanding the river to the ocean, yes it is possible besides I have watched a documentary about an artificial sea created to support a seaport in an Asian country but who is going to do the dredging and expansion?
such a capital project requires the full approval and support of the Federal Government , and it is glaring that the possibility of that happening is very minimal.
River port and Dry port are two things that we should be talking about instead of all these unnecessary noise about seaport,
its unfortunate that we found ourselves in a hate filled country, had it been that it is a country where Love and peace reign, all the seaports in South South geopolitical zone ought to be functioning fully, but we know why it is not so, so that a particular geo political zone close to south south will not benefit from it, so that they will continue to cluster in Lagos to import thereby swelling up their Internal Generative Revenue,
we know this game,
Dry ports in a developing country are used to connect landlocked states to the sea port via a rail network, it is this technology that can be used to connect the whole northern states that are far from the ocean to the seaport.
the same dry port in Aba and Onitsha will play a crucial role in the economic activities of these two cities.
Dear Ndigboo ,stop all these creation of "South east is not landlocked" threads,
A wise person does not waste his time trying to impress or correct his sworn enemy.
we are alone in this country, that is why I always insist on IPOB limiting their agitation to Igbo areas,
The Jews faced similar hate all over Europe back in those days just for the crime of being Jews,
same scenerio is playing out,
Being Igbo is not a crime,
we are not interested in their love,
Always use your head and not your heart on dealing with "ndi tribe uchu ndia gbara Igbo gburugburu nke kasi nke ndi ofemmanuu"
ndewo nu
Oriaku loves you all

Food / Re: Which Nigerian Tribe Owns Ogbono Soup, Okro Soup, Egusi Soup by Amarabae(f): 8:28pm On May 18, 2020
okro is an oyibo anglicanized version for the Igbo word Okwuru,
the okro seed was introduced by the white men and Igbos started using it to cook, I have an pre-colonial article to back it up.
Egusi soup according to some originated from Yorubas, some said from Midwest, some said Igbos ,, am not very sure about egusi origin, will research.
But Ogbono soup is Purely Igbo by origin, Ogbono Ilo is the original name, mostly popularised by the Northern Igbo areas.
just like the way Ukazi and Achara belongs to the Southern Igbos.
.
If you eat my Ukazi with Achara soup ,garnished with moulded egusi, fresh fish, goat meat etc lol you will know that Oriaku is not just a nickname, it is a noble title

Family / Re: I Am 20 And My Mom Wants To Throw Me Out. by Amarabae(f): 10:58pm On May 16, 2020
samicine:
Greetings one and all. I'll try to make my lamentation as short as possible.

My mother accused me of stealing her 2k, but I assure you, I didn't. The money got missing on Thursday night according to her and my 13 year old brother. I won't do such a thing, because the times are hard and the pandemic is fueling this hard times. I'm not lazy, I kind of work from home, I write for opera news hub and to some extent I get money from there, currently I have 19k in my account. I have no motive of taking her money, but she insists I took it, and is currently threatening to throw me out of the house.

This is not the first time such thing has happened. When I was still in secondary school, money got missing often and she'll blame me, beat me and starve me for stealing her money, but God helped me and the culprit was found, my other brother was caught, he is 18 now and doesn't stay with us anymore. He stays with my dad. She never apologized for what she did and the scars of that emotional and physical abuse still ripples across my body. But this time I'm not sure I will forgive her if the money is found. I'm planning on leaving home and starting my life somewhere, it's hard, it might just be my naivety speaking, but I need your advice.

The only skill I have is writing and web designing, which I'm almost getting good at. I just need help and guidance. I'm a 200level student and I major in psychology. I'll be 21 by November.
Am so sorry to hear this, She is still your mother and she loves you dearly.
the threat of throwing you out, she doesn't mean it, she wants to create a fear factor.
Talk to your church pastor if she is a Christian,
and also talk to any of your maternal relative that she respects,

You’ve nothing to argue! Simple.

You don’t know ateke .. neither do you understand the riVers you claim to come from... RiVers is Alpha ... home of noble men.. and kings..
Stop displaying foolishness on a public forum ...

Ask you who are you and what interests are you representing in riVers state..

You open a thread to speak on behalf of south south and you said you don’t have time to argue .. but you are on other post arguing cursing and even calling people names..

Faced with the truth .. you gave me a nairaland link and said ateke is against Biafra... have you been with ateke one on one.. ?

Don’t think only fools visit nairaland ... to run intel on you na very smal thing.... no be chides .. if you know you know..

I’ve told you ... next speak for yourself as your opinion..
Don’t come here to lump everybody in your fallacious imagination.... just as Kanu and IPOB are doing..

You’re condemning Kanu and IPOB about minorities in the south and you’re doing same thing.

Mind your tribe as a riVers girl and don’t ever lump southern minorities again...
Face your people...

Lots of tribe in southern Nigeria and each want different thing for themselves..

Ijaw is different from ikwere.. otueke is different from ijaw .. epia is different from ahoada east and west.. ogoni is different from Annag is different fom efik opopo is different from andoni ...

SPEAK FOR YOUR SELF AND STOP CREATING DIVISION ..
MINORITIES ARE ALREADY DIVIDED

you are trying to shifting the post with your meaningless blabbing.
you first wanted to use ateke tom as a cover ,I bursted it with link below
https://www.sunnewsonline.com/count-rivers-out-of-biafra-ateke-tom-warns/
.
instead of you to counter it, you are writing jargon.
SS minorities are NOT interested in Biafra.

who are you to type trash everyday..on behalf of south south...which group or organizations do you represent? What part of south are you from.. maybe Rivers state and married to an igbo man..

Pls next time speak for your tribe as a riVers girl... and don’t generalize.. it makes you look stupidly funny... or are you trying to bring confusion to minorities online?

Actually is people without history that takes your post serious and maybe some yorubas that have bend on carrying out Awolowo directives on causing division between the east and southern minorities

Can you visit Ateke and tell him in okrika that you represent his views or peter odili in ndoni and tell him same?

I’m not IPOB or fan to Kanu .. but when it comes to Biafra..lots of interests are considered.

Generally Igbos don’t want a Biafra with ndi mba mmiri which am part.. jut like you married igbo so are my folks mixed..and like you,my mom has her opinions too.. you can’t speak for her ..

Biafra is a spirit .... and on the eve of Biafran independence.. if it eventually comes.. you writing this trash.. will be disappointed...
Is all about diplomacy, politics and interests..

next time simply write it as your opinion.

Don’t generalize it..

You make sense to an extend .. the whole post is fallacy from your imagination.

I don't have time to argue with you .
BTW the ateke tom you just mentioned is AntiBiafra, so keep living in delusion
