greatehis: rubbish.... is like telling some one who studied accounting in the University to receive more wages than a chattered accountant... professionalism in Nigeria is taking lightly. until your relation is sick in the hospital and there isn't a doctor to tell those idiots what to do, then your brain that seem to have been use to fry akara will find its way back to the empty skull. All my relations abroad buys as low as panadol with them when traveling back because they wont find a pharmacist to just walked in and demand for drugs unless a doctor recommended prescription. Go do you findings, no pharmacist or its likes can ever understands what Doctors are trained to do. forget all those stupid argument. they are help-meet. if you where trained to hold the leg for me to successfully work on it, do we have the same training. i work as an accountant but not chattered, but i have learn to respect the chattered haven gone through some of the classes. if you want to be a Doctor go back to school and stop this parochial argument. when we were young, when u see a Doctor you think they are next to God and are pride to any family were they are from. where did this political JOHASU nonsense came from? After reading microbiology like someone who read philosophy for 4 years you want to be addressed as Doctors and receive their salary.... you must be mad Look at a hungry accountant talking. Go to the street and see many jobless accountancy graduates. Even an auxiliary nurse who is a quack has more job opportunities than many accountancy graduates. Keep quiet pls. Who knows una. All professional courses in johesu are respected more than accountants, Can you talk when a pharmacist introduce himself in public, Even as a graduate nurse, I am respected in the society far than you. Have a sit pls. This post is about those in the health sector. You are not needed here. Accountant my foot! |

hydeka: Pharmacy student? Smh...
I have been in the profession for a few years now and I know the situation. What you are talking about was obtainable in the past but not anymore. And Nigerians are becoming more aware that they can get more out of their pharmacist than they previously realised especially the enlightened ones.
And for the record, I chose to study Pharmacy and I don't regret it one bit. So much diversity unlike doctors who are stuck in the hospital. Every passing day, I thank God that I am a pharmacist. Don't allow anyone to belittle you. Pharmacy is a noble and respected profession. Wicked Nigeria doctors have tried to pull down that profession due to insecurities but to no avail. Pharmacy is versatile. Many pharmacists don't work in a hospital sef. They connect themselves to a foreign pharm industry as their Nigerian rep and make money, Some take loan and establish their big pharmacy. Big pharmacy make more profits weekly than 90% of private hospitals. Have you seen a pharmacist in a private hospital before? It's beneath them. If you formulate one drug product and sell, it's millions. Hold your head high. You are in a wonderful profession. |

hydeka: No be small local champions o
These guys don't know that we cover their Bleep ups in front of patients when they write all those nonsense prescriptions...and most of them just copy the consultant. If you leave them alone to work, na wahala be that.
I really respect the few who are honest enough to ask for assistance from other professionals. Those are the real doctors. My happiness is that the heat is on them now and johesu are not backing off. When I gave birth to my baby abroad, you need to see a professional chemistry that exist between doctors there and health workers. Everybody is happy, Drs there don't try to stop other profession from advancing in their career despite though their salaries are different but there is equity and not equality. But in Nigeria, there is no equity. I am done! I always laugh at their "jamb stopped you from reading medicine " bla bla bla. Am sure Florence nightingale was stopped by jamb and she is jealous of doctors. That means that the late brainy prof akunyili who was a pharm was also stopped by jamb. So empty are the ego filled local champions in NMA. . |

You will know your real value outside. Let the malaria and typhoid specialists continue to deceive themselves in the name of NMA. The real doctors are outside the country, Local champions . |

Icon4s: If the patient is in a very critical situation and or in coma and she wears that kind of relaxed expression on her face then that says it all.
A patient is dying and the first thing is to have stuck up your mouth with that lolly pop and be feeling cool.
That doesn't look like an emergency situation to me. It looks like a routine check. And Doctors or care givers typical communicate with the patient as they touch, especially as it was reported as an accident victim, to know where he still feeling one pain or the other.
What she did is by all standards unprofessional. No matter how you try to defend it. There is nothing unprofessional about what she did. Licking lollipop is like chewing gum, Some people relax through it, |

Stupid journalism. Out with an aim of tarnishing our noble nursing profession. . Get your facts right. Before Amadioha open ur file. BTW what matters is that the female doctor was attending to the patient, Lollipop in the mouth is not a big issue. . I love chewing gum at work. |

nelszx: Please always say what you know bruh What is Anatomic/Morbid pathology? Simply put histopathology When you say it's the difference what do you mean? Because to my knowledge, medical laboratory scientists now excise biopsies, views and interprets histopathological and gynaecological/cytological slides. Even in Nigeria, we have forensic scientists who by virtues of MLSCN act are practicing forensic science.
So what are you going to say next You are really out for these people. Fire on. The heat is on them. They want to suppress other profession in the health sector but they will keep failing.. |

ultron12345: look at this one. It's a pity your childhood dreams to become a doctor were heartlessly crushed by JAMB. Now she has dedicated her life to fight against doctors. See, it's never too late to read medicine, just take Jamb form and study hard this time or you shut your mouth and continue with your job . Repeating a "jamb bla bla bla " line is very boring to the ears. Mr doctor wannabe a. k.a Bsc physiology. I understand your jealousy at we prestigious health professionals. If they like, let them strike for 2000 years, private practice is booming for doctors, shey nurses will go and open private practice. Useless people. dont disturb my mention next time, I am discussing with doctors here which you are not and can never be. Stick to your Bsc physiology certificate . rickyrex: Reading some people's comments here I see the blood of that pastor flowing in them. If any church should stand to critize Catholic . So he spent his years in apostolic ministry studying the life style of Catholic. Chaii God bless you. Dont mind them. Why can't the pastor mind his business and Leave catholic alone, What he committed is institutional defamation . The same bible they are quoting said judge not. Lets remove religious sentimentality when vividly analysing a situation |

Why should he be criticising Catholics? Some of these Pentecostals and their methods. I thought the Bible said judge not. This is indeed a hate speech. religious fanatics everywhere. Nonsense. . That's why I am still proud to be a Methodist. All these new age ministries don't move me. God is everywhere Jesus prayed that the church will be one, but some fanatics want to cause division in the body of Christ. |
