When 28 states has zero involvement inflow What i expected of a serious government is to divest away from the status quo and put more funds into local businesses even to the Local councils that would ease whatever load coming in since we are mostly an informal sector driven economy but bulaba thinks the pepper seller understand all of those jargons We go see now |

Using too much naira(resources) to buy few dollars is a huge capital flight and loss of our national wealth. Government must ban the usage of dollars inside Nigeria, force all embassies to collect naira as payment for embassy fees, and force nations that we buy from to collect naira, or we form a trade group where we pay for goods with local currency. It is a shame how we allow dollar and america rip us off. Baba we no get the stands for now... joebeckz: You get the point. Diesel price will take out that N500 reduction.
Alot of persons think. The N3,500 is a general reduction. The key word ex factory price is of importance. Add the transportation cost to the ex factory price.
You still arrive at same plant delivery price of N5000+ So how does it affect us? Until inflation reduces, prices remain same. Or until actual company price inclusive of transportation reduces. Cement will still be sold way above N5000k per bag at retail since company prices are still between N5030 & N5050 💯 |

Majority of Nigerians are either unemployed, self employed or underemployed and are all affected by the inconsiderate policies of the govt. What exactly are the measures to alleviate their sufferings? One would have thought the govt had plans and measures in place to cushion the effect on transportation costs and inflation especially but instead they are busy bragging about sharing food to a select few and sharing monies to an imaginary populace. It means more money to share within less people and definitely smaller space to build infrastructure. You still dont understand what you saying More people means more hands, you just have to deploy them adequately. |
Politics › Re: 1 Kuwaiti Dinar = $3.25, Because Their currency Is Backed By Oil Reserves by ambale(m): 7:42pm On Sep 30, 2023 |
sunboy: You as a country make 100m. Country A: 4m population. 100m/4m = Country A per capital income.
Country B: 200m population. 100m/200m = Country B per capital income.
Now who will have better use of its 100m ? Whose citizen will have bigger per capital income? Who will have more disposable cash? Whose infrastructure will last longer?
Big population has its pros and cons. The best pros for high population is Market and Human Resources. Which means, as long as you produce, you will always sell without exporting and there will always be excess of people to work all types of jobs most times even for cheap labor.
You people need to stop comparing us to countries like US, Qatar or Kuwait or Saudi or UK, it’s ignorant to do that. Comparable economies to Nigeria are Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan.
Hopefully this helps. You see say you dull If 4million persons do 100m, should 200m do 100m also if they are serious?? |

Kuwait dinar is the world highest currency. Why's that? What happened to Saudi, Russia USA and the rest of the big boys in the oil industry. Why is Kuwait money higher than their money? They all have oil remember? From my knowledge having a much more population should be an aadvantage We are not just using our human assets properly thats all.. Alot of Nigerians don't understand how bad our economy is, they think its just to build roads and start farming etc. Nigeria's economy needs a complete overhaul and the measures taken yet are just the beginning. More hardship is on the way but like the saying the darkest hour is just before dawn, Nigeria's dawn is almost here, we just have to endure the darkness a little longer.
