Did you ever eat so much you made yourself sick?

I ate so much for supper tonight that I look pregnant. How shameful.

Ah, eba, pounded yam, goat stew, okra soup, It's too much. I just love it.

I've also discovered this wonderful Ghanian stuff - shitto. Goodness, it's heaven. Sometimes I'll get up in the middle of the night and go to the fridge just to eat a spoonful of shitto.

Anyone else out there eat to the point of making yourself sick? I'm not proud of myself. embarassed

Negro_Ntns:
Day care is a dumping ground, parks are dumping grounds, schools are terror zones, the only place left for them to have security and discipline is home.
Where do you people get these ideas?

I stayed home with my kid for the first year.  It's what almost everyone does in Canada.  By the end, my kid was more than ready to go to daycare.  She loves it.  She goes to a home daycare with 4 other kids and she has a great time.  She was getting a bit bored of me and needed to make new friends and get into a new environment.

My daycare is not a dumping ground.  It's a wonderful place, we are friends with the lady who runs it, and my kid is happy there.
RomanceRe: Must Guys Always Make The 1st Move? by amberella: 12:18am On Jun 14, 2008
I don't know who should make the first move. Honestly, if a guy comes on too strong in the beginning, it's a huge turn-off for me. I prefer to get to know each other on a casual, respectful and friendly level. If it turns to something romantic, great.

But this is one thing I don't understand about the black women in my city. If we go to black clubs, you see all these women pretending to be the coolest thing in the world (even if they're broke and ugly and dressed like cheap hoes) and guys on the dance floor trying to hump them. I don't get that. Why not just all hang out, chat a bit, and leave your enormous attitudes at home?
FoodRe: What Can I Cook For My Igbo Husband? by amberella: 12:10am On Jun 14, 2008
It seems like you are more anxious for him to enjoy your food than he is.

And what's with not allowing women into your home? Unless your husband is not trustworthy, this should not be an issue. And if your husband is not trustworthy, then I wonder why you're with him, let alone why you're tripping over yourself to impress him.
FoodRe: What Can I Cook For My Igbo Husband? by amberella: 9:26pm On Jun 13, 2008
The way it went in my house growing up was that you ate whatever my mom made, thanked her for it, and there was no complaining!

I don't know what kind of man complains when a woman cooks him food. If he doesnt like it, why doesn't he make it himself?

University of British Columbia (Vancouver) and McGill University (Montreal) both have good MBA programs. McGill is likely less expensive.

Anytime someone I love or care about is in need, I want to help. Of course I would offer to help if I had a boyfriend who was going through hard times.
What is money, anyway? What is it worth, if not to take care of our loved ones?

There are more important things in life than having fake hair and nails!!

Maybe you should stop trying to buy their love and they'll stop breaking your heart?

Nobody's holding a gun to your head.  If you don't want to buy your girlfriend a present, then don't.

I am having a laugh.
What's the probability that i would marry the girl i am currently dating?
Blimey. . . . What kind of high-risk investment is that?
grin

lol - sounds like you're wasting your money! I'd switch to a more conservative portfolio, my friend.

Really?
We are talking single males n females. . . . .
Thus the reason it's an invesment for men. You buy her a few presents while you're dating, and once you're married, you get a lifetime of free labor.
