You can add a margin of 8 to 10% of the total funds and use oanda.com as reference for the rates. ebho: |

Yes, that would suffice as they will still confirm the authenticity of your documents from the school. Rudy007: 1 Like |

So I checked xe.com now and 12164CAD = 9044USD. Just to be sure, is one to multiply 9044 by CBN rate or parallel market rate? Important question please. 40manlappy:

Nice one. I have a question, considering the LICO of 12,164CAD for instance, what did you use as the conversion rate for Naira? I know of oanda.com but someone also mentioned Abokifx rate which is quite high, being parallel market rate. Please advise , house . ITABABE: |

But what happens when IQAS or WES intends to verify - which they obviously do? They will send photocopies of the scanned documents you faxed to them back to your school via mail. Now, speed of delivery is another matter. How fast will it return to them is another factor. And I don't think your school in Nigeria will post to them - the verification - free of charge. 40manlappy: |

Nice one there. You said you only sent your transcript/degree to WES directly. I just wanted to know how long it took to get their final feedback. Plus, did you pay 234 CAD as obtainable on their site? behati: |

I guess from your explanation below, one must have gotten a feedback from WES on one's ECA before starting an application in the first place. bigheadday: |

Your feedback is duly appreciated. Using the tool now, and choosing the option of "Two or more certificates, diplomas, degrees... " shoots the score from 441 to 474! Now the question is, can a BSc plus a certification be used here? Must it (the certificate) be sent to WES too? Thanks again. SlowlybtSurely: |

Congratulations to the successful applicants. This bodes well for the prospective applicants. One thing I have noticed, upon reading the posts of successful applicants, is that without an MSc, it's almost impossible to get up to 450 in the CRS, even when you are under 30years, with very good IELTS score, 3 years working experience, but with just a BSc. Please, let the experts here advise. Cc: @vcole, @boldinc, @esosa4real, @slowlybtsurely |
