One-minute man that impregnated a woman has got the job done. A seven or ten minute-man who shoots blank has not got the job done. It is neither here or there. Marriage involves supporting each other and tolerating each other. There are always weakness and strengths present. Managing them makes relationship work. |
If Burna Boy cannot be magnanimous enough to share whatever information he has that will help other Nigerian artistes who desire international exposure like himself, then he should just shut the Bleep up and face his hustle. |
iamjavadem:I am not talking videos. I am talking daily personal experience. Yes, Africans are generally fetish but this has been heavily eroded down by Christian gospel. Cherubim and Seraphim, Celestial church, and such indigenous Yoruba churches are heavily fetish in their religious practices. So for Yorubas it is really difficult to draw a clear line. This, I understand and appreciate. |
ollah2:Points of correction: Candles are hydrocarbon product from crude oil. It is never your ancestral things. Laptop is not your ancestral things. We are all slaves to whiteman's research and technology. |
Another fulani cow man? |
Holding a red candle, carrying laptop and tying red clothes don't show a Yahoo boy. It could be he was in the middle of a cult meeting via teleconferencing. It could be that he was trying to spiritually influence a company through its website. Well, it could also mean Yahoo boy stuff. But one thing is certain, he is fetish like most Yorubas. |
As Jude's birthday brings up the controversy surrounding the breakup of Psquare, check out these scenarios and share your opinion. 1. Peter and Paul have been twins all their lives enjoying twinship: sharing, laughing, crying, fighting and making up, dancing and singing, etc. 2. They showed strong interest in entertainment early in life and did well at amateur level in Jos. 3. As they grew up, Jude being their elder brother who was already in showbiz took them under his wings. He supported them morally and financially at the embryonic stage. 4. After their university education in University of Abuja, Peter and Paul relocated to Lagos to pursue their music careers. Jude was already in Lagos. The three brothers teamed up to achieve success. This made Jude an invisible but active member of Psquare group. The three brothers had no problem agreeing to share earnings equally. 5. With time, Jude assumed the status of manager of the group. However, being an elder brother, he was more of a boss than typical artiste manager. He was more patriarchal than formal. As Psquare grows, Jude drew up rules and regulations to keep the brand growing. This is basically why Psquare was a close-knit group, socialized a little and remained scandal-free. 6. Peter being extroverted, flamboyant and socially expressive, constantly questioned the set rules and regulations. Paul being creative, conservative and moderately introvert responded more positively to the rules and regulations. Naturally, Jude found an ally in Paul in moving things forward. As two is greater than one and with their mother's intervention, Peter submits grudgingly. 7. However, Jude was not totally successful in controlling Peter as he ended impregnating Lola - the first lifestyle scandal that Psquare faced. Jude tried to persuade Peter take the baby and settle his baby mama in the interest of the Psquare brand but it was late as Lola has captured Peter's heart. Even their mother's intervention that used to work wonders on Peter did not have the usual effect this time. This is the origin of "love portion" conspiracy theory against Lola. In effect, from day one the Okoye family saw Lola as an unnecessary distraction that must be discarded. 8. Nevertheless, under Jude's excellent management of opportunities and arising fame, Psquare grew into an international brand, releasing several hits and becoming wealthy. Jude also enforced shrewd management of earnings which helped the two young people to cope as they handle fame. 9. Led by Jude, Okoye family continued their efforts to recover Peter from Lola to no avail. They did not give up until their mother died, which makes it an unfinished business till this day. Obviously, as battles to recover Peter was on, he constantly confides in Lola about his "travails" leading to Lola marking Jude as enemy No. 1. 10. With the death of their mother, Lola gained complete control of Peter. She set out her strategies for counter attacks targeted mainly at disgracing Jude and taking away his main source of income. To achieve this, she worked on Peter to convince Paul to discard original 3-way equal sharing formula and instead treat Jude as hired manager working for lesser percentage. Paul found the suggestion outrageous and confided in Jude. It was natural consensus between two of them that Lola was behind the "evil plan". Jude became antagonistic to Peter who also was under intense pressure from Lola on her plan against Jude. This led to several near break-ups. With Paul refusing to play along, Lola also marked him an enemy. Faced with failure in getting at Jude, the only option remaining was Peter going solo. 11. Consequently and sadly, Psquare broke up. Peter became Mr. P and Paul become Rudeboy with each now pursuing his solo career. Jude in response is focusing on other business interests away from artiste management. In the long-term interest of her children, Lola is working hard to re-enter the family's good book. So far, her often subtle and diplomatic efforts have been rebuffed by Jude and Paul. Meanwhile, Psquare fans have become polarised with Peter's fans clashing constantly with those of Paul on the social media, with each group appealing to the duo to come back, which looks impossible for now. |

festacman:I am sorry If you feel somehow about my opinion. But if you look closely, you ask yourself how many northerners have read and commented on your post. The is answer is none. So it is like what you see as a problem is not a problem to them. |
kufre2010:Exactly my point. Why bother about them when they are comfortable in their poverty and underdevelopment....smh |
The truth is that Buhari is loved by average Northerner. Neither Kwankwanso nor Tambuwal can interfere in this love affair. So I don't think blaming them is right. |
Lai lai they can never never abolish almajiri. It is part of their culture. |
Consistent poor performance by our governors show poor, little or no planning by these governors. There is no substitute for good planning. |
