You are on track my dear, I've been there and I'm happy to tell you that I'm clean now, I don't think of it or miss doing drugs. You've done yourself well by telling yourself that you don't want it again, that is the first step, acknowledgement, even when you find yourself doing it again, remind yourself that you want to leave a life outside it, always tell you conscious mind that, when you find yourself going back to it, never agree to the fact that its the best you can do.
2) Pick a pen and a paper, devide it into two, write down all the advantages of these things on one side, the disadvantages on the other side, both advantage and disadvantage with regards to you own personal life. Read it every morning and night, even when you still get high, read them and don't stop or give up.
3) Avoid places or people that bring back the sensation to you, these things are feeling and you have the power to control you feelings and emotions
4) Try new things like going out and mingling with people outside what you use to do before, maintain positive and clean interactions that make you happy. Try new habits like reading good books. Try to get back control of your mind/ thoughts pattern
5) Pray to God for help.
I trust you'll subconsciously come out of it.

In my personal experience with travels, I think the UAE is the most Nigerian friendly tourist point.
This issue you can search the UAE immigration mail or number, call them and am certain you will be responded to.

Also be patient and I am certain this issues will be addressed in the coming weeks or months when visa issuance and travels resume.

Hello fam. This hurt me so bad and I feel it could only happen to me because I'm a Nigerian. I applied for a 3months visit visa to uae last year March, it was granted two weeks before total lock down. After 3 days visa issuance was stopped and soon after, all visas was canceled. Uptil today nobody has spoken to me about that visa i paid for and was issued. I thought after the lockdown perhaps all pending visas will be granted access to uae but there was nothing like that and no refunds in anyway. It feelals bad to watch a country I expected was better than Nigeria steal from me. A British, Canadian, or Ametican citizen won't be treated like this.

Hello Nairalanders, I just gained admission to study in Australia, I was expecting my initial tuition fee that is expected to be paid from Nigeria to be like 8000 to 10,000 Australian dollar, I was hoping to make up this money between now and first quarter of next year. But the school gave me a minimum of $17000 to pay and there's no way I can meet up with that money except I take a loan and payback from salary. I'll appreciate if any one can give me clue on how to get a student loan or educational loan.

Your unused visa has been cancelled. You need to apply for fresh one if you still want to come but the situation of things in UAE for Nigerians are terrible for now. Only very few with job are lucky. No job, no visa change; how do you want to survive? Don't let your agent deceive you into coming to UAE for now. Thousands of Nigerians are already in limbo on what to do. Some are already back in Nigeria while others are most likely going to run into OVERSTAYED VISA with extremely high fines calculated on daily basis.

It is better for you to chanel your resources to Europe or Canada. It takes time, energy, patience and money but with right information you can achieve it.

I ask because I have a cousin who was being helped by one of NCS zonal heads to get in as at 2016. It was a paid for job, he paid 1/3 of total money, to pay the rest when he collect appointment letter. He was sent e-mails and text by NCS in preparation for collection of Appointment letter and going for training as at early 2017.
Suddenly info stopped coming and the officer who was helping kept telling him to hold on. Now she does not have anything to say and is promising to refund money collected, until something happens.
So I want to know if there has been new intakes or training since 2016.
