helinues:The local government elections were superintended by RSIEC solely appointed by Wike and Ibas as part of the so-called structure. The INEC was not involved. Tell them to release the results with immediate effect so we can see the skill and extent of their editing. Lol. The Southsouth are speaking loudly and this is an indication of what lies in store for Tinubu in 2027.
|
helinues:Helinues, tell Wike to release the results let's see. What good is taking the structure of a state when the people are clearly not with you? For the umpteenth time, were the votes casted so many that that they are still collating? Lol. The people of the Southsouth are already speaking clearly.
|
helinues:Like today's election, like the buy election. What's there to be humbled by? Why is it taking forever to release an election where the APC was the only party on the ballot? Were the votes too numerous to count? Run the edit and release the numbers. We are waiting. |
helinues:Helinues, the people of the Southsouth in Rivers state spoke loudly today via the boycott of the Tinubu selection that occurred today. Where are the results from the Rivers State polls? Let's see the numbers or is it still being edited by Amuneke? Tinubu will not succeed in stealing the election from the people in 2027. |
Try another tactic for a change. This is from a tired and outdated playbook. The so-called fighters for democracy are fast unravelling before our eyes as they set about trying to kill the nascent democracy that they claimed to have fought for. Tinubu first began to adopt this anti-party and undemocratic tactic by sponsoring Magnus Abe to factionalise the APC in Rivers state all in a bid to destabilise Rotimi Amaechi in his base. He has now exported that template to the national level and outsourced it to other states. |
Uba Sani has resorted to violence with tacit support by the Tinubu government but that won't save him in 2027. The same violent stance can also be seen in Edo and other APC states but the Federal government is keeping mum. They will stop at nothing including declaration of state of emergency in a bid to have their way but it won't be enough. This is clearly desperation having seen the handwriting on the wall
|
seunmsg:So why didn't you just come out straight and say this was all about the president's reelection? Why try to go through the corners? Tinubu is clearly desperate and is using a combination of inducement and coercion to buy support. The SOE declared was not any different. All of these will not be enough to get him reelected. We are just happy to see him unravel while he sets a precedence that will be replicated on his single most priced "possession" in the near future. |
seunmsg:Quoted for posterity. By "everything has been sorted out", you mean Tinubu has cornived with Wike to set the machineries in place for a hostile takeover of the state come 2027 right? Wasn't that what this is about? Structure. Anyways, time is a gentleman. @topic, Wike is now tacitly pleading with Tinubu not to extend the State of Emergency. He's under immense pressure as evident by the boycott of today's local government election by Riverians. |
helinues:Don't worry. Continue to play the ostrich. Sanwo-olu has also been ostracised in favour of thugs like Obasa because according to some people, he wasn’t Conservative and forceful enough, hence why Tinubu lost Lagos. Meanwhile, online, we are seeing open ethnic baiting and bigotry been encouraged under the umbrella of the so-called yooruba r.onu. Tinubu cannot win 2027 with violence. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. |
helinues:Alleged? Uba Sani has resorted to violence with tacit support by the Tinubu government but that won't save him in 2027. This will only rile up the people of Kaduna against APC. The same violent stance can be also be seen in Edo and other APC states but the Federal government is keeping mum. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

Senator Abdulaziz Yari is also one to watch out for. He's demanding to be compensated with the VP slot and will decamp if Tinubu fails to make him VP candidate. Tinubu is fast losing all his Northwestern collusus and is toying with the Northeast by attempting to drop Shettima. But Agbadorians are relying on the results of buy-election so it's nothing to panic about. |
Justnation:Lol. Fear is that you? How does contesting for the number one seat in the country soil someone's reputation? John Mahama of Ghana lost his re-election bid and contested twice before triumphing again. Did he soil his reputation by contesting? Jonathan will be the best candidate for the PDP as a party and he stands a good chance. He will have the Southsouthern votes, the Southeastern votes (if Obi is not on the ballot as President) and the votes of some Northerners who would want the South to complete their tenure. Jonathan will be the biggest threat to Tinubu's re-election campaign. |

Why has Bashir Haske been declared wanted when his alleged accomplice, Ojulari still get to retain his job? |
omoadeleye:You mean the buy election? Why not go ahead and swear Tinubu in then? |
JASONjnr:Why not? He got 6.9m votes in 2023 when the much touted "Southern turn" was at its strongest. The odds now favour him to perform even better in 2027 with the woeful performance of Tinubu. Did the electronic transmission of votes in 2023 stopped INEC from switching off the IREV portal in 2023? You claim Atiku was the problem in PDP but he has left the party, why is Wike still holding the PDP by its tentacles? Mind you, Wike lobbied to become Atiku's Vice in 2023 despite knowing it was the "turn of the South" (whatever that means). |
This has always been Elrufai's position right from his last days as governor. It was the treacherous man who begged him publicly to stay behind and work with him only to turn around and betray him in an attempt to humiliate him. Elrufai will definitely laugh last at the end of the day. He always does. |
Tinubu has not shown any real intent to further the railway masterplan envisioned by Buhari. He has abandoned linkage of the rail from Ibadan to Abuja and is only focused on the coastal road. Maintenance is now a hassle on virtually all the routes. His Lagos boy, Opeifa that he made head of NRC is obviously incompetent and worse than his predecessor. |
Headline bandits. How can one man remove an interim chairman? APC should try again. The amount of money they are expending on individuals to cause rancour in all political parties can be better channelled to solve pressing national concerns. No matter how hard he tries, Tinubu will have opposition in 2027.
|
Land grabber! So dark the con of man. This level of greed and covetousness is nauseating. |

Maintenance is now a hassle on virtually all the routes. His Lagos boy, Opeifa that he made head of NRC is obviously incompetent and worse than his predecessor. Everything is collapsing under his watch. |

Softmirror:Datti also said Tinubu is a kleptomaniac running a shady government. Did you also hear that part of the truth? |
helinues:With benefit of hindsight, I guess it's safe to also ask, where was Tinubu during June 12? It's a well known fact that he ran away in the heat of the struggle only to return and claim to have been fighting Abacha from Chicago. Iragbiji Simon Ekpa. |
So the PAs are expected to embark on community development projects from their 1m per month salaries? |
OneCandleAway:There's the Kaduna-Abuja modern train service that makes this a breeze. A lot of people commute to Abuja daily from Kaduna. |
You're looking at the midas touch of Elrufai. He did it in Abuja and did it in Kaduna. Kaduna is a more affordable mini-version of Abuja. Cool ambience, exquisite infrastructure improved upon by Elrufai in his urban renewable transformation. The quality of living in Kaduna is certainly better than many states in Nigeria. Kaduna is definitely top 5 and not number 5. Travel and see. Uba Sani's only job was just to maintain the standard of cleanliness set by Elrufai, but sadly, he's failing in that task after disbanding the Kaduna Metropolitan Authority. |
helinues:Continue to bury your head in the sand like an Ostrich. Only the very naïve will continue to deny that Tinubu did not make attempts to replace Shettima. It took threats from Governor Zulum and other Northeastern governors plus public beating of Ganduje before all talks about replacement was suspended. |
ogascomax:They said they are not bothered because they won buy-election but yet, they have branded Aregbesola a betrayer. Tinubu lost Lagos in the presidential election but Lagosians were still conscious enough to vote Sanwo-olu in the gubernatorial (after Aregbe was begged to intervene in Alimosho). This was the case in several other APC states across the North and South with incumbent APC governors who won their re-election but couldn't deliver Tinubu. Who says 2027 will be any different? |
helinues:Not because Tinubu wants him but because he may now have no choice. His deal with Kwankwaso fell off after ditching Ganduje and even though Tinubu has sent emissaries to Ganduje in attempts to reconcile, he would not hesitate to drop both him and Shettima again if the opportunity to get Kwankwaso resurfaces. |
callmeDDD:I know you see Elrufai in your dreams. There's a video from Sahara Reporters. Uba Sani probably spends half his FAAC allocation on PR and propaganda. He's not performing at all. He quickly borrowed ambulances and medical equipments and rushed to name the hospital after Tinubu when Elrufai already took it to over 90% completion.
