5 million is too small...put into consideration house rent nothing less than $350 per month and feeding..and remember you are paying international student fee....5million will take u no where..and remember you are only allowed to work 20 hours a week which you will get paid like 11 to 15$ per hour and u have alot of assignments and reading.. abroad school is not a joke when it comes to education and u must buy clothes also.....
So 5 m is tooooooooo small don't forget the 13% tax in Ontario money is highly needed and 5 m will not do it all

well I can say I give God the glory even after 2 previous rejections.. if u just got rejected don't stop trying ...I can say it's Worth it all.

I have done that here before but my little advice is if you have a 2.1 go for masters don't waste ur time with PGD...

If you are done with NYSC get a job it doesn't have to pay alot just get a job that will show the VO you are busy in ur country and you have something doing

Money isn't all they need but pay little of your fees ask the school if it can be refunded to you before you pay like $3000 CAD it will show you are serious..I paid 4000 the school told me that's the much I can pay and get a refund if I didn't get the Visa

Make sure ur sponsor is family and we'll related coz they will want to know why he or she will want to spend much on ur education..better your parents ( if they don't have the money they can borrow but small small don't pack it in the account) it's a gradual process


Remember to pray always Good is the main thing no one is perfect Gods time is the best my 1at application was called for medical but didn't get it coz it wasn't God's Time.....so prayer also and don't give up....

Don't give up package ur application it's worth it....don't forget hold on to God his time is the best...

What of those that did upfront and passed it.

I will say what I know in 2015 I applied on the 2nd of November and was called for medical 17 Nov medical passed like a week later but didn't still get it...

But things have changed once you are called it's likely you get it..
I don't know for upfront medicals coz I didn't do upfront

I remember I was at vfs office lekki by 6.00am the day I wanted to apply...even my medicals I came early

Just come early to save the stress.....

I just pray they call her for medical even her junior brother that did upfront has passed his medical since two weeks ago and they are currently reviewing his eligibility .... we are hoping for the best by the grace of God. Thanks.

just pray they call her coz once they call her for medical it's very sure she gets it....
2015 my medical was passed but I didn't still get it...all Na God timing but now most people called for medialcs now get it..

What could happen if one is unable to resume school at the appropriate time in canada due to the long processing time of student visa by CIC/IRCC?
For instance, I applied for my TRV here in Nigeria in June and I am supposed to start my MSc program on Sept 5 but am not sure i will get my student visa before september

so much negativity in ur Post 2015 my friend applied for September in July and he got the it a week to resumution of school....far less than processing Time...just keep praying and hoping for the Best..

yes and no but u need to pay a certain % and make sure u ask the school if it can be refunded..some schools want you to pay acceptance fee...

I've been trying to look for a Masters program but all of the schools requires that I have an academic supervisor at their school before I can apply for admission.
My undergraduate course at my school is Plant Science.

You don't have to give up keep looking...most schools I applied to for masters didn't ask for supervisor..maybe coz it was computer science but basically they didn't ask...they just wanted me to apply and that's all . ... really I will advice you get a master's program and save ur self the stress ur CGPA is too good to not go for a master's...and it will be hard to convince the VO that PGD is good enough for you... purpose of visit will be a big issue..

go for a master's degree don't waste ur time with PGD...I did same 2015 and 2016 and didn't get trv coz it was PGD.... please go for a master's and save Time and stress
