Did my medicals today didn't waste time...max An hour 30 mins... at ikoyi..#28,050 you just need to come very early was at the hospital by 6.30am they start attending to people by 7.40am.....

Since march 3rd ..today was just called for medical......

last year it took 3 month's coz my bank was giving wrong swift code and all that and the school will say it's wrong till I was able to get all info correct and it took me 3months but max when the right information is available 2 months

max 2 months once you give them all the details needed to send the money back to the account it came from..

Its funny because it has been on review stage for over a month now. Only God knows what they are reviewing. Applied April 25.

No I didn't basically it's a month Since I have linked my application and it's still same as at when I did...

Also under Eligibility it does say "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirement" while next to mine it say's it is still in progress and my background checkis still being processed. Did you get a message for a change in your status.

Please if you are a scammer it's 2017 go and find job don't come here and be giving payment solution...and please if you need to do any payment go to your bank easy and simple no one can assist you with payment open a Dom account or look for a friend you can trust (Not nairaland friend) and a $ card to make payment for admission fees and all...

How long does a student visa takes to be issued, because I applied on 4th of April and all i have seen when tracking my application is that my processed visa has been forwarded to Accra..
It's been 3 months i applied. And I got admitted in acadia university by the way.

right now no one knows someone just said since December 6 2016 nothing from them...even processing time doesn't work anymore as we can all see...just try linking Ur Application to know how far...

Stages through which study application passes, Medical request is sent after background check

To process temporary resident applications, such as visitor visas, study and work permits, CIC will:

review your application to make sure it’s complete,
determine if you are allowed to come to Canada (this could include a background screening),
determine if you are eligible to apply to work, study or visit Canada
send you instructions on how to complete a medical exam, if you did not get your medical before sending in your application,
determine if you need to attend an interview, and
inform you of the decision made on your application.
If you applied online, CIC will contact you through your MyCIC account.

If you applied on paper, CIC will contact you through the contact information that you entered on your application form.

You have to be patient. I submitted March 9 2017. Online route and did biometrics 2days after submission. I've not gotten any message from them asides 'there haven't been any updates.....' so exercise patience ehn.

I just got an update on my portal now and I saw my status and it stated that a final decision has been made and that I was refused n I was told to check my message section for details and there is nothing there not even an update on biometrics.

Plsi need an urgent reply to this.

have u created an account on CIC website...?? Its not so difficult after creating the account just search for your application that's all and link up

Mine reads the same as well except for the biometric that's completed and I did upfront medicals.

paper or online coz I did paper and did biometric same day....

Be expecting a medical request. The previous one is expired. The medical status on your new application means that they have not gotten to the point where the require you to complete a medical examination and since you didn't do an upfront medical, be expectant.

Thanks now that I am expecting a medical request and I have linked my application online will the request come via mail or online..??

I just linked my application online and I saw this it's my 2nd visa application but the medical I used last it has passed a year was Nov 2015 but I reapplied march 3rd 2017 is my profile normal coz I applied from Nigeria does it mean medical was passed or something Like thaf..?
