It's advisable you do that yourself. Check for stores were much of that product have been sold. Check for customers reviews and ratings too. Aess is the best free shipping I know for phones.
Be very conversant with the seller too. Take screenshots of the transaction process, shipping information, chats with seller and the likes as evidences for the 'future'.

Me sef wise up. I gave her 500 naira. Well, I'm happy I got the item as I'd open a dispute that was to be arbitrated today. I really felt for the seller so I've confirmed goods received.
Guys, please do well to refund sellers provided you get your items in future. Those sellers are really trying for us. Mine was too customer friendly mhen.

I just got a call to come pick up another order. They say it's a phone pack. I don't know if they mean 'smartphone' or 'phone case' cos those are the two orders I'm expecting right now. My optimism is high on the smartphone tho.

Who is to blame for the late distribution /dispatch? The NIPOST officials that receive the consignments first hand, or the nearest post office officials.

Can someone prove to me that not all items dispatched to overseas on the 8th of July were lost in transit?

Just signify if you've received an item dispatched on July 8

Received a May 18 order today. Aess standard shipping. Dispatched to overseas 9th of June, arrived destination country August 14, got to the post office in Ogun state August 17. The woman brought it to the nearest post office to me and asked me to give her 1k as transport fare. Item was an OTG cable.

I also have one cainao order that has arrive at destination country 22 days after placing the order May 16 (June 6). No call/text till now.

We really need a genuine explanation for why phones expecially are being 'held down' or lemme say 'hoarded' by Nipost officials.

I think so bro. I ordered for a phone, the following day, I ordered flash drive and memory card. The flash card and memory card have since arrived but the phone is nowhere to be found.

Shameless is an understatement. I strongly feel the problem we are facing is due to fault of the workers themselves and not necessary the federal govt most times. They just do whatever they like and say what ever they want. I called and sent an email with my tracking number ( it has been on despatched to overseas since july) I was told that it’s not in the country yet. And because I had a feeling they gave me mumu reply I decided to ask about another order that has been delivered to me already ooo since August but still showing despatched to overseas also. And I was still told that it is also yet to arrive the country.
I swear since the beginning of this year I have heard many dumb statements from some of these Nipost workers that I can’t even repeat here because the info is sooo wrong and foolish.

Imagine ordering for a smartphone, phone case, and an otg cable cable and you've gotten calls on different days to come pick up all except the smartphone. That's my own case. The enthusiasm to spend much on transport to go collect am sef no dey. Abi some items like phones are being hoarded ni?

Can't we just go to that post office in Lag that receives most items from overseas to check for our orders. Won't they allow ni? I believe most of our orders (especially April - June orders) are stuck there

And possible the crooks stealing peoples items along the way. Almost 3 months, no info on my phone.

Tracking has been showing Despatch to Overseas Postal Admin since 8 July.

We're in the same shoe bro. I placed mine May 18,got updated to dispatched to overseas on the 7th of July till now. I've asked the seller to extend my buyer's protection period twice. Now the second one expires September 12 and I'm yet to receive my order. When did you place yours?

Three (3) Carriers were appearing successively at intervals one after the other in this order 4px, cainiao and lastly Singapore post (I believe this might probably be the carrier that was used to eventually despatch my package).

Just in: the status has just been updated to receive item at delivery office

Midex88 and I should expect an update soon too. Seems we 'trio' placed our orders within the same period(16th to 20th) . Mine was shipped May 20 but dispatched to overseas July 7.

Of my three orders, I just received a call from a post office that I should give them the nearest post office to me so I can collect it there conveniently. This order just got updated to arrive destination country on the 14th of this month. One order has arrived since 6th of June( No call/text). The last is still on dispatched to overseas since 9th of July. All three ordered same period (May 16-18).
Literally one down, two more to go

Let's keep giving ourselves updates so we all can know what's up with our respective orders.

For those wondering why Singapore post that Aliexpress uses takes long, I have an info for y'ol... They are being shipped literally ie by sea(ship)... Until international flights resume thats when they'll start shipping to Nigeria via Air and hopefully China post airmail will be back too

No I think the problem is from Nipost!

The packages might have arrived Nigeria, but instead of NIPOST to process the old ones they abandoned them focusing on the new ones.

This is exactly what's going on. I thought I was the only one that understood the reason you just gave. How can people who placed orders in June receive their orders without May peeps receiving theirs?. I have three orders that were placed May 16 bro. I haven't received any!

I received a mail from aliexpress earlier today. My 16th of May order confirmation period ended today and I'm yet to receive my order. Infact, the BP still remain few days as it is still running. Now, I have 15 days to open dispute.
