damselleen: I did discussed it with him. I told him I don't expect him to be perfect cos I'm not perfect. I told him how he can please me. He said I'm the first person that will complain (pride ). I thought he had listened but he didn't put it into practice what I complained about the next day.

I'm not expertise when it comes to sex but I'm teachable . My fear is what if it doesn't change?
If he doesn't put it into, you do it for him. You are the one to teach him how to pleasure you.

EducationRe: FG Breaks-Off ASUU Negotiation, To Introduce Student Loans by amodaade: 7:40am On Aug 28, 2013
3ace: How would this student loan work sef? In a country where there are no jobs? How do you expect them to pay back. I trust some students; they will just be using the money to flex except the money is paid directly into the school's account for educational purpose. I know what the FG wants to achieve with this student's loan. They want to expose the lecturers and show the whole world that the lecturers are only concerned about their interest.
Remember there was a Student Loans Board in the 70s that was later scrapped due to massive corruption and non-payment of the loans. This will not work as the government is never sincere in its dealings with Labour Unions
PoliticsRe: Only 10 Banks Are Sound - NDIC by amodaade: 2:20pm On Aug 22, 2013
PHIPEX: Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has rated 10 banks out of the 24 banks in the country, sound in 2012. In its Annual Report and Statement of Account for last year, the corporation affirmed that the sector was relatively stable in 2012 as no bank was found to be unsound as at December 31, 2012. But it declined to name the banks adjudged sound.
This is mischievous. If none of the banks was unsound at the end of 2012, why go ahead to say only 10 are sound.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Snake Swallowed A Goat In Abuja by amodaade: 6:59am On Jun 29, 2013
moshoodn: Goats are domestic animals which mostly stay close to residential areas to eat grasses or waste foods...

Snakes (of that size) live a distance from human habitation.

So.....

The snake leaves its place to come out to hunt a goat or the goat goes close to the snake's habitation; either way, it must still be around a human habitation...

To suffocate and swallow a goat, a snake would need an hour or more to do just that.

Bottom line: A big snake swallows a big goat around human habitation for over an hour and no one knew?

My Opinion: maybe the snake swallowed another bigger bush animal and in its discomfort, strayed into town.

No one knows specifically what's inside the snake stomach until either a dissection is done or the snale is poked till it vomits...
Or the goat may have been used as a bait to catch the snake.

Of what use is the resuscitation of UPN 35years after, except to cause confusion. I was at the launching of UPN at Tafawa Balewa Sq as a young student. Which young student is going to follow Fasheun now?

IslamRe: Muslim Couple's Children Handed To Christian Parents Based on Suspicion by amodaade: 4:42pm On Feb 13, 2013

Insult to injury: Christian adoptive-mom says - "They should be thankful."

According to Judge Edward Thomas the presiding judge, as he read the new death certificate of their baby boy, Samir Amer, both parents were completely innocent, and in no way responsible for the death of their son.

Wayne County Minnesota - Rehab Amer was found innocent of responsibility for death of her 2 year old son (1985). But too late - her children must remain as Christians with adoptive family.

On Tuesday, a judge cleared the birth mother, an immigrant from Lebanon living in Dearborn, of responsibility for her 2-year-old son's 1985 death. The death led Michigan authorities to give her three young children for adoption.

Wayne County Circuit Judge Edward Thomas in Detroit ordered that the death certificate for Samier Amer be changed to say that his death was an accident, not a homicide, after evidence that the boy had brittle bone disease.

The children now are 22, 21 and 18. The Amers say the children were trained to be Christian missionaries and to believe that Muslims cannot enter heaven because they do not believe that Jesus is God.

A jury found Rehab Amer not guilty of second-degree murder, but Michigan's welfare department refused to return the surviving children to their parents. The Stampers adopted them in 1990.

The 22-year-old, who was named Mohammed Ali at birth and later renamed Adam, lives in Minnesota after attending Bible College in Texas. The 21-year-old twin sister of Samier, who was named Sueheir and renamed Suzanne, is a receptionist living in Flint.
The 18-year-old, born Zinabe and renamed Rochelle, lives with her [Christian foster parents] in Independence Township and is a high school senior.

Something does not add up.

Samier the dead twin was two years old in 1985. Therefore the living twin sister Suzanne should be 30yrs old now and not 21. If they were adopted in 1990, the youngest child will be 23yrs now and not 18.

The op caused it. Decency dictates that if you are in a room with a couple, you should expect that they may want to have sex and therefore you should be unobtrusive. What did she want to read that could not wait till the next day. It was her reading lamp that woke them up to shag.

steph7: @ Jenny that's why some nigerian parents send their stubborn kids back to nigeria. @ sisikill, pls are you yoruba, if you are pls can you explain why my inlaws will tell me not to call my husbands junior brothers by their name, even if they are far my junior. Sorry for derailing. Also why wud I marry a man 10 years my senior and call him Sir.people say it is the yoruba tradition.
You are not allowed to call your BIL or SIL by name if he/she was born before you came into the family. All others born after you became a wife, you are free to call by name. It is just a sign of mutual respect that is being eroded by westernisation. However, a wife is allowed to discipline any child that was born after she got married to the family.

In this instance, if the wife is not much older than the niece that was smacked, it may be considered disrespectful. However, any reasonable/responsible man would not take that as an issue with his brother's wife. I can assure you there are other underlying factors responsible for his action. The OP should keep us informed about how the issue is resolved.

PoliticsRe: I Did Not Shun GEJ - Oba of Benin by amodaade: 5:00pm On Jul 03, 2012
wesley80: The Oba is a noble and upright man and considering the accomplishments of Oshiomhole in Edo state, he wld have to hate his kingdom to support some other candidate for whatsoever reason.
That said, political power holds sway in Nigeria today which explains why the Oba was at one time suspended from the Edo state traditional council (If I recall correctly) by a certain riffraff military Governor of the state after some perceived pressure from the "Igbins". The suspension caused an outrage at the time but the lesson here is that Politicians still very much call the shots on these shores.
And where is that former governor now?

milehigh06: the house you have in pic and the house the op has up there are 2 different houses
designs can be done anywhere but what I suspect the Op is asking about is materials which are suited for building houses like that
If the materials are not available locally, let him bring them down. The basic purpose of a house is its functionality. All other things na aesthetics.

PoliticsRe: Oya Na! Sanusi Pushes For Complete REMOVAL Of Fuel Subsidy by amodaade: 6:36am On Apr 16, 2012
HNosegbe: I have never disagreed with the economics of subsidy removal-No country can afford to subsidise imports for son long. The problem is, subsidy removal in Nigeria is first and foremost a political issue. As far as the average Nigerian is concerned, subsidy removal means increase in prices, increase in prices means further punishment. And it doesn't help that our "leaders" are so extravagant and wasteful in their spending. Its gonna be tough convincing Nigerians that the country is in dire straits financially.

My stance remains exactly what it was back in January: Government must be seen to lead the way in making sacrifices and pushing through austerity measures. Unnecessary legislative bonuses must stop. Legislators pay should be limited to a fixed amount per sitting. Estacodes must stop. Recurrent expenditure must be cut to below 50% of our budget. The practice of buying jeeps for senators every 4 years must cease. The bloated and unproductive civil service must be restructured. The corruption in the oil sector must be tacked head-on, with culprits found guilty and sent to prison.

There are a lot of symbolic gestures that must be taken by government to convince Nigerians to make such sacrifices. Until these things are done, the man on the street will not appreciate the need to remove subsidy.

All Correct sir.

FamilyRe: Mother In-law Snatched My New Born Baby by amodaade: 1:00pm On Apr 05, 2012
emmatok: LOL,

She (MIL) has no right to take another mans child.

The child belongs to both parties (husband and wife) and not MIL.

If she is needed  they (husband and wife) will call on her, not her imposing herself.

And what the MIL did is shameful and totally wrong in all ramifications.

I tell you some father in-laws will not hesitate to send their daughter and the child back to her husband, cos it is bad and shameful to the family.

Now the MIL is gradually turning the innocent child to a Bastard(A child whose birth lacks legal legitimacy).

Shameless people.
You may be right. maybe the baby is not rightfully his baby. you never can say.

PoliticsRe: Man Falls Off Elevator At WAEC Building, Lagos & Dies by amodaade: 7:46pm On Mar 29, 2012
ambyzown: It is possible for one to fall into the lift shaft when it stops in-between floors. Remember that when the lift stops between floors half of the doorway will be blocked at the top. In a panic, the woman probably tried to climb out and lost her footing while landing and fell into the lift shaft. May her soul rest in peace.
If she lost her footing while climbing out she would land on the lift lobby and not in the shaft.
PoliticsRe: Man Falls Off Elevator At WAEC Building, Lagos & Dies by amodaade: 7:41pm On Mar 29, 2012
A lift travels in a shaft which is a void and only contains cables e.t.c. for the lift. The space between the lift door and the shaft is only for tolerance and should not be able to allow an adult pass through. The only reasonable suggestion is if the landing door on the 8th floor mistakenly opens while the lift car is above and someone steps into the shaft without looking.
