When this present Ile-Ifẹ was founded, rhere was no alien belief. When some banished persons founded their own setlement, invented their own oriṣa and began spreading lies which were accepted by the others who should have known better, chaos began to take hold. The lies were alien to our constitution and were never from our founding fathers.

This and more are addressed and elucidated in the write-up.

If some persons were banished from Ọrun by Olodumare and have been living among us, they would have been doing the same things that led to theirinirial banishment. It is known that the Iyami are eníyán have no place for them in Ọrun, according to Odi Meji (see "THE YOEUBA IMAGE OF THE WITCH" by Raymond Prince, Journal of Mental Science 107 (449) 1961). Olodumare expelled them. Seven of them escaped the flood and these ones and their kind are called Iyami, and they worked non-stop to bring back their ki d in rhe flesh. The stories from ancient Greece about their deities abducting and raping women who then begat offspring for them aren't myths but actual events. Their prison is aja ilẹ (the underworld, netherworld). Iyami are Ajẹ but not all Iyami are Ajẹ as only the rebels among them were expelled, and all Ajẹ are both males and females. But among iṣẹṣe lies have been spread that all Ajẹ are Iyami, all Ajẹ are females, that there are iyamis of orun, that the "iya-" in iyami is "mother" whereas the pronunciation differs as seen in rhe root "-ya" which is the verb "to pervert, divert, stray", etc. Ayami Oṣoronga is Edi who was created as their leader and is the Devil. They are his body and are the Iyami Eṣoronga. They are not "great mothers" but perverters. Olodumare created the Ajẹ to regulate entropy (chaos) and this is the only way they can exercise their being. While the upright Ajẹ use this to maintain balance, rhe iyami are lawless and use this to enslave, dominate and fill with chaos. Now, what so you think would be the result of offering ipese to the iyami rather than the faithful ajẹ? Is that not akin to feeding and empowering te enemy? Chaos which is unbridled lawlessness is the only result. Since they are perverters, they pervert the truth and thus infiltrate the land with alien beliefs.

I hope you are getting it now. Edi is the black hole. The true itumọ (etymology; Greek etymon) of Oṣoronga is mentioned in that write-up, and many revelations about rhem have been provided in that blog.

They have been trying till date to quench me permanently. They stole all of my Ifa during my itefa compound of their leader who is a globally accepted babalawo, and my father's too. They have been doing their utmost best to prevent me from learning Ifa. I've been narrating all these on my blog.

Kindly try not to be myopic but to make observations with critical awareness. The insect within the vegetable that eats the vegetable is foreign and the vegetable is its host. Noted in that write-up is an acknowledgement of the presence of enemies within have been born among their host and use this to pollute. For instance they caused and intra-tribal warfares. The means with which they achieved this is also explained therein.

I thank you for your perusal. Do read it again and thoroughly this time around.

By the way, a traits of my personal odu include the gift of an all-round perspective and showing direction, like a compass, to others to enable them find what they seek.

Two days ago my wordpress app somehow "scattered" my Odun Ifa Agbaye blog post. It has now been fixed, with one major edit abt the AP. Kindly bear with me.

I'll soon return to the topic of discussion and show that one of the two that make up Edan is the first and original Ooni.

Those trying to connect the Igbo people with Obatala should instead be objective by considering also those mentioned in Ifa stanzas as having been excommunicated into the Igbo (bush, forest, wilderness). An example is Edun beleje the progenitor of gorillas who was initially serving under Obatala and was responsible for deformities in humans but falsely accused his master before Olodumare of getting drunk on palm wine and thus being the culprit. When his lie was exposed he was expelled and cursed with madness. Ifa has it that viable ape-human hybrids exist. For instance, the highly regarded red savannah Patas Guenon monkey called Ijimere (aka Amu'ludun "one who brings sweetness to the kingdom"wink is the result of a gorilla raping a woman known as Iya Mọsẹ who was the wife of a king. Could this gorilla have sired others that way who turned out looking like humans yet exhibiting gorilla behavioural traits? How did this gorilla have the consciousness to rape a woman and what for?

The Owon- in the odu Owonrin Meji and the secondary Owonrin odus has to do with scarcity, difficulty in making profit, going by the data in their stanzas in particular.
The calabash of an upper and lower half with the upper representing the sky and the lower representing the earth, as noted by AB Ellis in his 1894 book "Yoruba-Speaking People of the Slave Coast of West Africa" is not of Obatala and Oduduwa respectively but of Obatala and Ilẹ. The union of Obatala and Ile resulted in the birth of Aganju who is Ilẹ Gbigbona the god of lava (magma when underground) which is always associated with Ile. The proof is in a simple comparison of the relevant natural phenomena associated with each of them as their signatures. Forr instance, just as magma emerges from within the ground, Aganju Is borne by Ile. If Aganju is associated thus with Ile, how then can the mother of Aganju be Oduduwa? Obviously the Oduduwa as a woman story from Ado Odo is a mischievous invention to "ya" (pervert) the true account. Ado-Odo is of the Ajẹ whose home is Ọta that is of Ado-Odo. The Iyami those Ajẹ rejected by Olodumare for rebellion and 7 of them survived the flood. The "ya" in Iyami is "to pervert", akin to the gravitational lensing of light by black holes, and has nothing to do with the "ya" in Iya for mother which is even pronounced differently. Why "ya" the obvious?

I didn't offer any perspective but facts.
That period after the expulsion of the oyinbo that Oranmiyan took over the reins of power from Ogun, Ife his reign was engulfed in crises. So he met with his awos who told him te messag of Ifa to to "feed" his father which he bagan feeding Oduduwa. However, there was no improvement so he met with them again and Ifa told him that the perfon he had been feeding was not his father. Upon further investigation he discovered that Ogun was his actual father. Recall that when Ogun was Oduduwa's general he once brought home as part of his booty from one of his military expeditions a woman callef Lakonge who was also a divinity. Oduduwa then demanded that he surrender her to him which he did and Oduduwa "knew" her. But Ogun had already slept with her. The result was a giant (due to his peculiar parentage) who was both light and dark complexioned. This giant was the first post-flood incarnation of Oranmiyan (biblical Nimrod) who first reigned in Oko (Cush) that is now Oke Ona Egba. When he began feeding Ogun, the crises was no more and his name was changed from Oranloyan to Oranmiyan. The name of the odu where this is recorded is Ogunda Oshe; when it comes out during Ifa consultation, the client is told that the person s/he thinks is his/her father is not his/her biological father. Now, could Oranmiyan have thought of Oduduwa as his mother and also Lakonge who breastfed him and was captured by Ogun?

That Oduduwa is Olofin and one of his descendants whose offspring founded Isheri was associated with that title cannot imply that Oduduwa was from a place founded after he had departed. Note that Idanre in Ondo state was founded for one of his sons who was also known as Olofin and was nicknamed Ohun and whose two elder brothers were nicknamed Ashe and Epe and who took the original Are that is Oduduwa's crown with him to Idanre.

The -won in Atewonro as to do with chain not ewo/taboo

Oduduwa is neither white nor a she. He was not Ooni as seen in the attached image below of an excerpt from page 55 of John Wyndham's 1921 book "Myths of Ife" with the sources of the information theirein being the then Ooni and his Araba. According to them, Odum'la (Adimula) was the first Ooni and his role was to be the spokesperson for the gods that had just returned to orun, and Oduduwa was the first to return.

Luwoo Gbagida was an usurper noted for an unpleasant reign and emerged as Ooni long after Oduduwa.

I'll reply to more comments tomorrow by Ifa's grace, due to the anti-spam bot.

Culture / Re: Oduduwa Has Never Been Ooni But Always Olofin by amor4ce(m): 7:36pm On Jun 09, 2017
The alleged union between Obatala and Oduduwa that allegedly spawned Aganju was actually between Obatala and Ilẹ. Some mischief-makers "ya" (perverted) the story for their selfish aims. Many similarly perverted stories are recited and believed hook, line and sinker by Ifa priests and priesteses and Olorishas. Another example is the story that Obatala transformed into a woman to seduce Aganju whereas an Iyami was did it.

As for the first Ooni, let us consider the attached picture taken from the 1921 book "Myths of Ife" by John Wyndham. The author's sources were the then Ooni and also his Araba. If Oduduwa had departed before the enthronement of Odum'la (Adimula) as the first Ooni, how then can historians today assert that the former was the first Ooni? What was Oduduwa's regal title before he departed, before the enthronement of Adimula?

If they can pervert the list of rulers in Ife, isn't it possible that they've been perverting other oral account as fact. Thus, aren't they responsible for the confsion over our history amd perhaps benefitting from the resulting chaos?

Culture / Re: Orun Mi Ti La! - How Otito (truth) Acquired The Appellation "Orunmila" by amor4ce(m): 4:11pm On Jun 09, 2017
Concurrently with the emergence of these twins, Akamara who is also called Origun set about coordinating the itu and sent Imi on a mission to search the ever expanding big bang for a place suitable for the establishment of biological life. He found this planet four hundred thousand (400,000) years after its creation and stayed here, alone with no one to communicate with, for four hundred (400) years and was walking on the water. Thereafter he reported back to Are - thus the first breath was of Are breathing out then in - who immediately handed it over to a female irunmole irunmole named Aye (available space, vacuum), one of the many irunmole who emerged from the itu agbon eepe kan, and gave him one of the agbon eepe from that itu to bring here and use to create land. Are also enabled Oshu for this by commanding him: "O ro!" (O descend) which is concatenated into Oro (speech, uttered word/message/thought).
Culture / Orun Mi Ti La! - How Otito (truth) Acquired The Appellation "Orunmila" by amor4ce(m): 12:08pm On Jun 07, 2017
This brief essay is aimed at resolving the speculations that have been put forth about the etymology of the appellation ORUNMILA by which Otito (Egyptologists 'Thoth' aka Ibikeji Olodumare (Vice-Gerent of Olodumare) the irunmole/orisha of wisdom is popularly known.

When Are (the Presence/Being) aka Akamara began creation, still ongoing, that of the subset that is our solar system which includes our planet also began then, and after seven hundred and seventy-seven thousand seven hundred an seventy-seven (777,777) years our planet was set. Water covered the entire surface. The supreme creator started this process by begetting a set of twin entities, actually irunmoles, with the elder as the second to emerge. The first but junior is Iri (Primordial Dew) which is Olofin Otete who would later be known also as Oduduwa while the elder is Imi (Primordial Breath) aka Ela, Ifa, Oshu (Hebrew Nehushtan), Ashe, who is luminous and the sound O (Ọ; translated as Thought) - this is seen in the breath of creatures that breathe being saturated with vapour. Are then pa (imputed) Ashe into the Iri by blowing Imi into it which which began an itu reke-reke (chain reaction expansion; itu is expansion, explosion) - else it would have been a stillbirth. First, it quickly hardened via crystallization into horo eepe kan (a grain of "sand"; horo is grain, eepe is "sand" and kan is one) and then tu (expanded, brought forth) to multiply into an agbon eepe kan (asteroid, meteor, meteorite, one eepe aggregrate) which then tu via an explosion that reke-reke till date and that oyinbo scientists call the big bang. Also, they refer to horo eepe kan as the Higgs boson or the God particle. Thus Are is also called

Iri tu wili tu wili
Primordial Dew bring forth quickly again and again
Iri tu wili tu wili
Primordial Dew bring forth quickly again and again
Iri tu wili-wili
Primordial Dew keep multiplying
Koo tu reke-reke
Bring forth to expand infinitely

It is incontrovertible knowledge that Oduduwa is also l known as Olofin Otete and bore the title Olofin while ruling at Ile-Ife. Sadly, some awos preach that there's a divinity called Olofin who is distinct from Oduduwa. Why? Even more saddsning is the insistence by the historians from his palace grounds that he was the first Ooni whereas Obalufon the spokesperson of Obatala and Oduduwa is the Ooni whose spirit is borne bu subsequent occupants of his throne. Oduduwa could not, given his niche and status, could not have borne the appellation of another divinity, almost all of whom he outranks. Why have these historians been misinforming us as if they are omo ale (bastaards)?

Orisa gun amu ewa is never Ijebu but originates from Iremo in Ile-Ife.

Read about the history of Idanre and you'll see that the Are crown in Ile-Ife is a replica as a son of Oduduwa took the original and some other of his dad's royal regalia with him to Idanre. Are is also the name of Olodumare. So, does the crown belong to Oduduwa or to Are? Did Oduduwa wear it only on the Olojo day or was it his official crown?

Isn't Edan = Obalufon-Moremi?

Once upon a time,Oba Ajaka acquired a slave named Oluwo at a time his wife wss barren. She was to be execited (I've forgotten why), met a babalawo by chance as the d-day approached. She would later sleep one night on her mistress' bed at her upon being ordered to do so by the mistress for reasons I've forgotten but not to set up Ajaka. As fate would have it, he came into the room to sleep with his wife but it was dark and he didn't know that was Oluwo who kept quiet as she was confused. She conceived, became "free" and a queen, and bore a prince. She wss so grateful to Ifa that she insisted she must tefa, and thus became the first woman to tefa. I suspect strongly that this child was Obalufon 1 and was a step-brother of Oranmiyan from whom he fled and then returned as Obalufon 2.

Geologists teach that the Arabian Peninsular used to be part of the African continent, but speculate on its northern and northeastern limits. What if it actually included Mesopotamia. This would explain the presence in southern Mesopotamia of 'Nimrod' who was allegedly a Cushite and grandson of Ham, and also be a confirmation of the assertions of Sultan Bello and some Arab writers that the Nimrod, his people the 'Yoruba' (according to Bello) and other progenies of Ham once lived in that region. However, the geologists say that the northeasterly split of the Arabian Peninsula from the African continent which resulted in the Red Sea rift took place over 20 million years ago. What if this dating is not true? What if it is much recent? Within the last 20 years some volcanic islands have been formed in the Red Sea as the rift expands till date. The rift is mentioned in the Arab account of the formation of the Bab al-Mandab (Gateway of Grief), which has to be recent, and which the Arabs now publicly dismiss as mere legend. What if it isn't for nothing that ancient maps/atlases differ from the ones made since 1300 or thereabout? It would also explain the difficulty in locating the part of the Red Sea of the biblical exodus.

What if the mass migrations of the Arabs to Europe withing the last 2 years till date have occurred in ancient times and the Arabs similarly migrated into Mesopotamia and the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula? Remember that they did invade North Africa.

Chinaimporter:
If by west african,u mean indigineous ones like ijaw..non but if you mean migrant ones like the igbos the yes.cast iron was discovered by the igbos around 2500bc .The true origin of the igbos lies in the sumerian city of ur near the site on ancient babylonia.the igbos establist the ubaid dynasty headed by the great igbo king meshanepada who built a ziggurat in honor of the great god nnanna(also called nanna in sumerian and sin in akkadian) who asked the igbos to migrate to other part of the world to spread civilization in the then young world. Igbos then invented the first alphabet called the cuneiform and left babylon under an igbo family called the Akadians who where the ancestors of modern arabs,Ethiopians and jews through a former sheperd of igbo orign called abraham.
The igbos then migrated to perisia which they civilized and gave her first royal dynasty and their god called Ahura mazda(i hi ura mu aza gi meaning he who answers me in my sleep)
From there they went to ancient egypt where they civilized and gave her first pyramids and also sent a delegation th civilized the barbarians in the north called the greeks.it should be noted that some of the greatest greek men where igbos eg aristotle(erie asi tolu uto), pythagoras(bia ta ara) achilles( aku ili) etc.
The igbos also enslaved the isrealites in both babylonia and Egypt and after they got tired of the city life they migrated to eastern nigeria while civilizing the Nubians, yorubas, fulanis etc on there way.it should be noted that oduduwa and bayegida were all igbos in oduduwa case yoruba legend holds that he is a fair man from the east. The igos are not desended from jews or egyptians rather thses people are all desended from the igbos and and unbiased historical evaluation would prove that
This is a very powerful antidepressant!

@Princeroledi,
Yours usually name Obagado as the first ruler and Ogiso of Edo. What does the 'Oba-' in Obagodo mean?

The meaning of the 'Odu-' in Oduduwa is well known, and is the same 'Odu-' in many names like Odusola, Odutayo, Odusole, Odunewu, etc. borne by many Omo Oodua. If, as you posit, that this 'Odu-' is actually 'Izo-' as in Oduduwa from Izoduwa, are you saying all Omo Oodua names starting with 'Odu-' actually start with 'Izo-'? Do Edo people bear names like Izosola, Izotayo, Izosole, Izonewu, etc.?
