Katsumoto: Well what you heard is wrong. Awo had a meeting Ojukwu to advise against the war. Ojukwu then asked whether they could have a united Southern Nigeria. Awo responded that it would amount to betrayal if he changed the objective of his meeting with Ojukwu since he was representing the Federal government. Awo stated that it wasn't the right atmosphere to discuss such.

There was no starvation policy. That was simply Biafran propaganda. Charities were allowed to fly in food at night until June 1969. After June, Gowon refused night time flights of aid because Biafra was using aid to smuggle in weapons. Ojukwu subsequently refused day time shipments and inspections of shipments. If you were a combatant, would you allow your enemy to smuggle in weapons after you have successfully mounted a blockade? So Biafra didn't receive aid from July 1969 until the end of the war in Jan 1970 (6 months).

I wonder how many Igbo people died of starvation due to the theft of food supplies by Biafran soldiers prior to the implementation of the food blockade.

Anambra State. I am ashamed of you people. I am from Enugu and the only kidnapping case i know of in Enugu was committed by Two Anambra people and one man from delta state. When other tribes talk about the kidnapping cases, you attack them. Why ?

Was it because of the civil war? Then why not start kidnapping The Alhajis. Atleast send a message to them that you are not happy about what happened.

Simply because their Master who is their programmer, has established in them a system that believes reality is constructed from without, rather than from within. According to the organisation, the perils cover kidnap, bodily injury extortion, property damage extortion, product extortion, computer virus extortion, trade secret extortion, political detention and hijack.

According to the newsletter, there has been an upsurge in the demand for terrorism insurance.

The Minister of Business, Enterprises and Cooperatives, Mauritius, Mr. Jim Seataran, welcomed all initiatives by the insurance industries in Africa geared towards the development of the sector and encouraged collaboration between partners both at regional and international levels.

While speaking on how Mauritius had been able to develop its insurance sector with just a population of 1.2 million people, he said insurance penetration in the country was about 5.2 per cent, while its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product was three per cent.

Does 'Nd' in 'Ndigbo' mean 'breed'? I ask because chino11 mentioned in another thread that "Anambrans are hardworking and industrious breeds of igbos", and prior to that I hadn't come across such. Is that term appropriate?

If I remember correctly, contracts were awarded during OBJ's civilian regime for he rehabilitation/(re)construction of federal roads in the south east geopolitical region, some Igbo people accused him of marginalization because it appeared nothing was being done about those roads, only for him/his administration to reveal that the concerned contracts (not sure if ALL) were awarded to Igbo contractors. Perhaps Nairaland Ndigbo (I hope I used this term correctly) should investigate the contracts that have been awarded since 2009 for the roads, the contractors, and make public their findings so as to get to the root of the matter rather and avoid making unfounded allegations.

Sadly, Christendom in Nigeria is marked by claims that have no backing. For instance, m.k.o2005 was claiming Jesus to be the saviour, is a co-creator of the heavens, that one should accept him, etc, but did not provide any evidence, implying that Christianity is about the rejection of thinking (reason/logic) for remote control by the Indo-Europeans. Same goes for Islam.
