Obatala = Bethel? Recall the Biblical narrative (Genesis 28:10-22) of Jacob's dream in which he saw a ladder (chain?) extending from heaven to earth, and how upon waking named the place Bethel (verse 19) which the oyinbo translators translated as 'House of God'. That was Jacob's first encounter, the first time Ela appeared to Him and in a dream. Various translations have been provided for 'Obatala', one of which is 'King of Vision' and the encounter was in a vision. This hypothesis of mine would seem to be in conflict with Jacobs action upon awaking of pouring oil (palm?) on the rock he used as a pillow since Obatala's devotees avoid palm oil. It could be argued that 'Bethel' is the name of a place, not a person, but then there's the Osun grove. Perhaps 'Bethel' is such a grove (not sure if the actual word is 'igbodu'). The common consonant root would then be b-t-l.

The Hausawa are seen as Afro-Asiatic and see the Yoruba as one of the seven illegitimate states. Both have similar dressing, similar drums, similar tribal marks, and have that common 'wa' suffix: Gobirawa of Gobir, Borgurawa of Borgu, Zamfarawa of Zamfara, Bagazawa of ancient Baghdad, and Oduduwa the Yoruba progenitor, etc. Oyo history has it that there was a time Nupe sacked Oyo and the latter fled to Borgu whose king and people hosted them because they (Borgurawa) recalled that the Yoruba came out of them.

Various studies have been put forth that demonstrate the fraud of 'modern hebrew' which is proof that the oyinbo people who call themselves jews are indo-european, and that their translation and transliteration of ancient texts with the use of tools like consonant roots coupled with subsequent anthropological studies are just based on deceit and deranged. Many oyinbo-founded universities around the world support this fraud and their anthropological research and syllabuses are deliberately skewed in this regard. Below is a list of some texts detailing such and I suggest that interested people get their copies before they are suppressed further:

PAGAN 9JA, Christians have been defrauded by the oyinbo supremacists into believing that the ROCK's name is Jesus, a clear fraud. These supremacists carried out an ethnic genocide in the Middle East and references in this regard abound in the Bible. These are the violent ones who took heaven by force, who killed Oshu's followers, who deceptively induced their own people in Europe to kill others in the name of christianity, and much more. Their lives are about insanity.

ABAKALIKI – EBONYI State Police Command, said, Tuesday, that it had arrested seven suspects in connection with the ritual murder of little Miss Ukamaka Immaculata Ogboji, 7, on Sunday at Agubia in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state.

The command which commended the effort of the community under the aegis of Ebonyi Youth Assembly, EYA, in the arrest of the suspects, noted that the suspects who had earlier kidnapped Miss Ogboji for monetary gains, later, dismembered her body and dumped same in a cassava farm in the area.

Confirming the arrest of the suspects, Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Sylvester Igbo, noted that two of the suspects arrested had confessed to the crime stressing, that the police had begun full investigation to ascertain the motive behind the brutal killing of the deceased.

He said: “Seven persons suspected to have killed little Miss Ukamaka Immaculata Ogboji on Sunday at Agubia in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state, have been arrested and will soon be paraded. What we have observed at the scene made us to attribute the killing to ritual killing and not kidnapping because the corpse of the deceased was without two legs, hands and eyes.

“From the act, it is a ritual killing. Through police investigation, we have been able to arrest seven suspects among whom, two have confessed to the crime. One of them confessed that his mother was the spiritual mother of the girl when she was baptised.”

About 150 years ago, and before the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, your people were kidnapping themselves. So how did kidnapping move from Yorubaland to the southeast? I want to see if I can understand the logic you used to arrive at that, if at all there's any.

But your (bashr8) people are frequent customers of Yoruba sorcerers as some (young men) are at times seen hanging around sparsely populated rural hamlets even in places like Ogun state. What else would they be doing since your people are known to have a preference for cities? Your people also kidnap for ritual purposes in the southwest. Come to think of it, could the scandalously high rate of baby theft of Igbo by Igbo for Igbo be the result of Igbo adults (men) using their body parts/emissions for money rituals?

But your people have been notorious worldwide for scams which are not limited to cash but faking/altering many products. Would you say the Yoruba were associated with pharmaceutical drugs scams?

Lets not deviate from the purpose of the thread.
Why is Igboland synonymous with theft of human beings?

Kidnapping has been part and parcel of Igbo culture for more than 200 years. It may have started when communities kidnapped themselves and recently buried corpses for food and later slaves for sale to the oyinbo for financial returns. When slave trade ended the food part continued and maybe reduced but now we have been seeing a revival as people are being kidnapped again for money though not for sale to oyinbo. Will there be a return to the kidnap of people and theft of corpses for food once again but this time with everyone as game, ie, no longer community against community but family member against family member?

bashr8: we all read sun news , we know yoruba armed robbers caught with enough weapons to start a war, weknow yorubas robbers that rob and rape travellers at night , the last gang where caught after they robbed and raped innocent students travelling trhough yorubaland , we also know yorubas put nigeria on the map as a nation of scammers and 419ers using marriage websites to con single lonely women. we know of daily reports of ritualism in yorubaland its no longer news with the latest being brothers that killed their brother. crime statistics still puts south east as the region with lowest crime rate so your fighting a lost battle.

sun news they focus their news on the eastern region only rather than poking into what happens in other regions.
I didn't assert that Yoruba don't commit crimes but pointed out that your people export crimes much more than others, way much more.

Nigerian Kwerekwere in Southern Africa

Book Review
Titles: The Kwerekwere Testament: The Complete Chronicles
Author: Kenneth Chukwuka Madiebo
Reviewer: Uzor Maxim Uzoatu
Publisher: ArtRelated
Year of Publication: 2011
Pagination: 401

Let's just start with a very fundamental definition. "Kwerekwere" is the derogatory term that black South Africans and, indeed, sundry black Southern Africans use when referring to unwanted foreign blacks especially Nigerians.

The Kwerekwere Testament: The Complete Chronicles is autobiography-disguised-as-fiction. Its author Kenneth Chukwuka Madiebo is the son of Major-Gen Alexander Madiebo (rtd), the Nigerian military's first Artillery Commander and Biafran Army Commander, who authored the pivotal book The Nigerian Revolution and the Biafra War. It's crucial to get the pedigree of the author especially as he earned his degree in veterinary medicine in Nigeria before venturing into Swaziland to sell clothes only to end up in Southern Africa for all of thirteen-and-a-half years! He lays it all bare at the end of the book with these words: "I should know all this, because I was a kwerekwere for thirteen-and-a-half years."

In the prologue, it is explained that another alias for a foreign unwanted person other than Kwerekwere is "Ngangawane" but both terms translate to insults such as white South Africans calling the blacks "Kaffir", or whites generally addressing blacks as "Niggers". The darker the person's skin is the worse kwerekwere he becomes such that "even bona fide black South Africans especially from the Venda and Pedi tribes, have been arrested for being too black, with the immigration officials labeling them Zimbabweans." The xenophobia in South Africa is such that Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka was in 2005 denied entry at South Africa's Airport for eight hours until Nelson Mandela and his wife Graca Machel had to intervene.

The protagonist of The Kwerekwere Testament Orakwe flies into Swaziland at noon on December 13, 1994 to sell Nigerian traditional attires in the company of his friend Tony Okereke who had snared him into the profitability of the trade. Tony's contact in Swaziland, the Tanzanian Mohammed, who had earlier said he would pay cash for the goods ducks out of the deal thus leaving the duo stranded. In his thatch mud habitation in rustic Swaziland a distraught Orakwe ruminates on what his dad had told him: "This is a senseless move you are about to make, son." He recalls also how his father had advised him back in Nigeria not to undertake an Alsatian puppies' business that doomed him to bankruptcy. Actually he had in 1993 secured provisional employment in the Drug Enforcement Agency of Nigeria as a dog veterinarian only to be denied and kicked out unceremoniously. It is against this background of graduate unemployment that exporting traditional attires and even snake skins to Swaziland becomes a veritable lure.

Orakwe resorts to basically hawking the wares with his companion Tony when no big-time buyer could step forward. He desperately had to make a phone call to his Swazi in-laws who had only recently been in his Nigerian hometown of Awka to see their daughter married to his cousin, but no dice was forthcoming. Now trapped and knowing that his plans to be back in Nigeria for the December 1994 celebrations is at best unreasonable, Orakwe decides to survive on the brink with shady characters like Saul Slave-Trade who is involved in human trafficking of the sex trade variety. Orakwe gets the task of travelling into Mozambique to ferry back the LovePeddler Patricia who had some immigration problems, but comes back empty-handed and unrewarded as the girl Patricia had somehow found her way into Swaziland.

He meets up with 30-year-old Ndubuisi Akunwata who sold off his two restaurants and transport buses in Aba for the journey to South Africa. Ndubuisi's friend, Okoroafor Freedom, in South Africa to whose family in Nigeria he had paid $1000 reduces the man to a slave before kicking him out in the cold, but the man from Aba had managed to pilfer his master's $5,000 with which he runs to Swaziland and back to Aba. Orakwe becomes exposed to the mules on the drug runs to Brazil and Europe such as Chima who gets jailed in England and later in Columbia.

Orakwe fortuitously makes contact with his classmate Mike Dagogo who had graduated at the top of the class but is now a big Johannesburg baron who advises that he should immediately cross over to South Africa. The crossing to South Africa is done by Osaze "Swaz", past the dangerous pass at Ermelo and onto Johannesburg. The beauty of the white cities does not hide the ugliness of the black shanties even as Orakwe gets a heroic welcome from Mike Dagogo only to soon learn that everything for the kwerekwere comes down to survival of the fittest on "The Streets". It's instructive to note that his lecturer "Dr. Azubuike, who has PhD in veterinary pharmacology from the University of the Southeast, sells pinches of cocaine in Berea."

Mike Dagogo organises his procurement of the paper to move around South Africa atop which is printed "Temporary Permit to Prohibited Person", thanks to Section 42 of the United Nations. His mentor Mike has a shouting match with the white receptionist of their lodgings, Melanie Kruger, over arrears of rent, and she invites the police bursting in on the Nigerians at 4AM. After a thorough search no cocaine is found. Then the Nigerians eventually get thrown out of the 905 Apartment. Mike who earlier would not reduce his bosom classmate Orakwe to hustling drugs on "The Streets" now declares that he is "broke too" such that everybody has to find ways to survive.

Orakwe goes back to Swaziland when his old friend Tony informs him that a surefire job for a veterinary doctor is there for the taking. The job does not manifest and he tries out the business of the Croydon Diamonds. He does eventually go back to South Africa where he is nearly beaten to death by racist white cops at Jan Visser Square where he had gone to save his acquaintance Romanus. He is charged with dealing in drugs which becomes reduced to illegal possession and, finally, bribery. He is granted bail for 3,000 Rands. He is reduced to starting literally afresh. He then learns that his friend who made him to come South in the first place, Tony Okereke, had got lucky by being handed cocaine sent through a courier company.

Orakwe makes much money through the forging of documents. In short, he becomes the most artful forger in the land. He indulges in 419 letter-writing, duping the South Korean businessmen Kwon and Kim in league with the tag team of Oga-Yawe and Benita who would eventually cheat him out of the deal. Ogo-Yawe then travels to Nigeria to marry Benita on Easter weekend of 2001, then the couple would travel to Dublin then London only to return to South Africa, broke.

To make something of his life after all, Orakwe abandons "The Streets" for admission into the prestigious College of Medicine of the University of the West for a Master's Degree in Public Health. His troubles do not end as he tangles up with the racist Professor "Asbestos Killer". The racists attempt to make him not to graduate by not giving him a supervisor. He writes a protest letter to the black vice-chancellor and all hell is let loose. He then graduates in June 2007.

A remarkable incident in The Kwerekwere Testament occurs when Orakwe runs into his friend Obi Obiora who leading others in initiation rituals of the Inagba cult where a baby is killed, his heart eaten and his flesh pounded to a pulp with pestles. Orakwe refuses to be a part of it all and ends up killing Obiora with the pestle in self-defence.

After the killing, Orakwe goes to Durban to stay with his girlfriend Nosipho and then travels to Johannesburg airport for the trip back to Nigeria with only 20 Rands in his pocket. He is nearly prevented at the airport from travelling back on account of his “cack” Study Permit extension. His vigorous protests attract attention until he is allowed to travel at the very final boarding announcement. Orakwe gets picked up at the Lagos airport by his brother Ugonna, the wife Ifeoma and the human rights lawyer Ekundayo.

In The Kwerekwere Testament: The Complete Chronicles Kenneth Chukwuka Madiebo has done a great and courageous duty to the unspoken truths beneath our existence. The authorities and the establishment may not like to hear this testament, but it remains a bulwark for the march of civilization. South Africa needs to change its ways. No nation has ever made it through insularity and exclusion. Here is a grand historical document that needs to travel.

However, there are niggling editing errors in regard to punctuation and quotation marks, capitals, and the spelling of names like Mohammed as “Mohamed” . All these can of course be tidied up in the next edition.

All these do not detract from the fact that Kenneth Chukwuka Madiebo poured it all out straight from the heart. It is through such a conviction that the course of history is changed. May his tribe increase!

bashr8: my friend shut up , what have you done about armed robber s holding oyo, ekiti and osun, ondo hostage all the time , robbing banks for a whole day , was it not in the south west that people are robbed everyday especialy night travellers , the last group of robber s that raped female travellers where they not yorubas, slowpoke ,you think we dont know about yoruba crime cartel in u.k ,nothing have brought more shame to nigeria than yoruba 419 scam kartel thanks to yorubas now all nigerians are tagged scammers, tomorrow you will also claim that igbo politicians are responsible for the rot in nigerias system . some of you think with your anus maybe you where delivered through there.one person is kidnapped in onitsha after several kidnaping casses all over the country and all of a sudden anambra people are the problem with nigeria, mumu. if i or other anambra people decide to engage that enugu boy on issue of crime shame no go ever let am come back to this forum but whats the use, i rather deal with you ngbatis.
But your people have been caught various times for armed robbery in various states of the southwest. I've been buying Sun newspaper (Orji Kalu's) for years and majority of the crime reports as reported even by Igbo correspondents from the southwest feature Igbo culprits. My former home in Lagos was once robbed by Igbos. I had an Igbo/Anambra (son of a popular Nollywood actor) classmate from SS1-3 who opened my eyes to tribalism and was notorious for thinking up and carrying out dubious schemes and who, while assisting a teacher in recording scores on our report sheets dubiously got one of my exam scores reduced out of envy. Since that period I have associated Anambra with wayo! Remember that Igbo people kidnapped Mikel Obi's father in the north central region. This is in addition to the brazen crimes committed by your people in China (already notorious in Guangzhou) and southern Africa. Also, it seems it is your people that think through their anuses considering the recent reports of your people stuffing hard drugs in their anuses and the complaint by some Libyans in pre-Arab spring Libya again about your people using the anuses of goats to transport hard drugs.

Israel (not actual name/rendition) was already being HELLenized, having being occupied by the Seleucids (Greeks) and later by the Romans. The HELLenists had been comparing IYE and ESHU to their gods and many Israelites had begun to refer to ESHU as Kristos (an appellation applied to Zeus) and as Zeus. Also, many had begun to adopt HELLenist (western) lifestyles (eg names, clubbing, dressing, societies, etc) and travel to HELLenist lands for greener pastures but were forgetting the name ESHU, much like what has been happening for the past 500 years. One of the reasons ESHU (Orunmila) came was to remind His people of His name and the name of Olodumare, not to introduce Christianity as His followers would never have called Him 'Christ' or 'Lord'. He also came to remind them of the teachings of Ifa, to remind them of who they are, and this can be confirmed by comparing His message with Ifa liturgy. Within a generation (40 years) after His ascension and in line with His prophecis, the Romans destroyed the Temple and built theirs of Zeus (Jupiter) on that site and began a racial genocide in the Levant, but their Zeus temple was later destroyed, perhaps during an earthquake. These violent people who took 'heaven' by force and cloned Scriptural/Biblical manuscripts, replacing ESHU with IeZeus/Jesus. Thus, Christianity is based on deceit and violence and has never been of ESHU, and attempts at comparing ESHU to Jesus - Truth to fraud - are impossible.

By IYE's doing, we have been witnessing similar patterns of these events as many of our people have been getting westernized and despise ESHU. Thankfully, many are turning back to Him and His teachings in Ifa and this time the West will get some serious whooping. Please when you do decide to discuss ESHU can you include the other six - seven spirits of Orunmila (Rev 3:1).

Back to topic: Support for the argument about the proto-Semitic origin of the Yoruba language has been given by Prof Rasheed Ijaola of Igbinedion University as recorded in the following interview which was published on page 26 of the Guardian, Saturday May 26, 2012.

‘Yoruba Was the Language Of Adam And Eve’

https://www.ngrguardiannews.com/images/resized/images/stories/2012/may2012/ijaodola2-26_5_12_200_160.jpg

THE Dean, College of Law, Igbinedion University Okada, Edo State, Prof. Rasheed Ijaodola, is a Professor of Law, with Masters degrees in Christian Religious Studies and History. Ijaodola, who aims to bag PhD in both disciplines before attaining the age of 60, recently published two books outside law, his core discipline – Yoruba as Language of Eden’ and ‘Ownership of Jerusalem: Linking the Jebusites of Jerusalem with the Ijebus of Nigeria?’ He spoke with ABIODUN FAGBEMI in Ilorin about his attraction to the two subjects, hinging it on their continued relevance to knowledge.

What informed your recent publications on disciplines outside Law, especially those on ‘Yoruba as Language of Eden’ and ‘Ownership of Jerusalem: Linking the Jebusites of Jerusalem with the Ijebus of Nigeria?’

My publications are based on research. Though I am into Law, I love History, Literature and Bible Knowledge. If you combine law with all these subjects, one would be able to command language, which is the tool of law and advocacy. Also, one would be able to make very apt and interesting allusions.

For instance, the great Lord Denning was asked a question about his mastery of English Language and he replied that he gave it to Shakespeare, adding that he had read Shakespeare plays several times. It is true that Shakespeare’s writings are very rich in history, science, religion, law; take any subject in the world, it is covered by Shakespeare. From his writings, you will see that Shakespeare travelled widely and touched the contemporary issues of his time. No one was before him and none was after him in that line. Yet, it is very surprising that Nigerian education planners are de-emphasising the works of William Shakespeare in our post-primary schools in place of our own writers. But I am of the view that if we do away with his works, we will end up killing Literature in English.

But don’t you think your proposition could negatively affect the growth of local authors?

We have fine writers in Nigeria and Africa. We have fine novels like Things fall Apart, The Concubine, Songs of Lawino, to mention just a few. Our educational system in the past where these traditional books were read in conjunction with Shakespeare’s books was better. We should not abandon his works if we must have a breakthrough.

If you are very good in literature, you will be very good in Law; you will be methodical and be able to observe and pick your words carefully. History also has this advantage in law. Law itself is history. It has its background, it is dynamic and it continues to grow. Our society at its background has its beginning, so its law. To properly appreciate law, emphasis must be placed on its developmental process. So, History cannot be ignored.

If you are versed in History and Literature in English, you will enlighten your Law. They are related and interwoven. A good law teacher should be able to make references to these subjects. A good advocate should be able to make references to these subjects in the process of advocacy in court.

Why again would you recommend Bible Knowledge for those intending to study Law?

The master of them all is Bible Knowledge, not even History or Literature in English. It is the encyclopedia of knowledge in experience and spiritualism. The Bible contains very good, fine alluring prose and poetry.

The Bible is in fact a voice of reasoning, and a forest of History that cannot be depleted. For example, see what the power of the tongue caused the Biblical Jews and the whole world today.

Upon the death of Solomon, the Biblical Jews went to King Rehoboam, the son of Solomon to lessen their burdens. But he replied them that the burden he would impose on them would be heavier than that of his father. Hear him: “My father chastised you with whip, but I will chastise you with scorpions.” This led to prompt division of Israel as a nation. They proclaimed: “What portions have we in David? What inheritances have we in the son of Jesse? To your tents oh! Israel.” The divided Israel became a prey to their enemies and gradually, they were taken into captivity. They became scattered around the world including Africa. During the Second World War, Hittler of Germany killed over six million Jews. The international community waded into it and they were settled in Palestine in 1947. But till date, there is no peace in the land. All these happened because of the error of the tongue of some 3,000 years ago.

So while studying the Bible, I came across the problem of language at the Tower of Babel and the whereabouts of the Jebusites. These people were dislodged from Jerusalem over 300,000 years ago by Biblical David. While reading the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible and the development of the human race, I came across a very interesting subject, which is the language of men at creation, or the language with which men communicated among themselves at the beginning of time. The Bible tells us that during the period, there was only one language on earth before the episode at Babel where God confused the language of men and scattered them all over the Plain of Sinai accompanied with multiplicity of languages. By that time, there were no Arabs, Jews, Europeans, Egyptians and so on. One would then wonder what that single language could be.

Having examined the nature of the Garden of Eden, it is probable through its geographical location and climatic conditions, anthropological facts and findings of the scholars that the garden was somewhere in Africa. In fact, the language, if carefully examined, could be the language of the Yorubas of Africa. I mean, the language of Eden; the first language on earth could be Yoruba. Time will reveal this. That is what my first book is all about.

In your second publication you traced the Nigerian Ijebus to the Biblical Jebusites. How and why?

The second book discusses the problem of Jerusalem that had been in existence long before the father of Arabs and Jews came from Ur of Chaldean, Mesopotamia to settle in Palestine. The settlers at Jerusalem were known as Jebusites. Some believe that Jerusalem was the place that God first created. We are told in the Book of Kings that over 3,000 years ago, King David attacked Jerusalem, captured it and made it the capital of a United Israel. It was such that the Jebusites were destroyed and scattered and were never heard of again. However, we heard of some remnants of the Jebusites working in King Solomon’s labour force. We also heard how King Solomon had bought the land on which he built Solomon’s Temple from one Aroon. At this point, the Bible never referred to the land again.

Because of the proximity of Egypt to Palestine, it was believed that the scattered Jebusites could have escaped to Egypt, down Nigeria and some other parts of Africa. If you study Yoruba history very well, you will see the connection between Egypt and Yoruba, especially Ile Ife.

In my research, I discovered that the Jebus of Jerusalem that were dislodged by King David are most likely to be the Ijebus of Nigeria today. The History of the Yorubas by Samuel Johnson that the Ijebus were the social people from the goddess of the sea cannot be true in view of very convincing, compelling and concrete evidence that they must have been part of the people who jumped into African bush when the sword of David entered Jebusite over 3,000 years ago. I presented this as a seminar for my PhD at University of Ilorin. But my supervisor, late Prof Ade Dopamu said the write up was controversial. But in my own view, there is nothing controversial in an attempt to jump a little above the story of Oduduwa to see if his origin was Palestine. After all, a part of the history of the Yorubas linked Yorubas with Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Another story linked Oduduwa with the Biblical Limrod. The great hunter had a link with Noa and Jerusalem as well.

We have also traced the fabled Queen Sheba who visited King Solomon from a place Jesus Christ described as the end of the earth to Ijebu-Ode. Her tomb is a tourist attraction previously under the Federal Government but now transferred to state government. The Yoruba name of Queen Sheba is ‘Balikisu Shugbo’. Balikisu or Biliqis is an Arabian name.

We can’t afford to ignore evidence that tend to really show the truth of our origin or beginning. If a nation’s great grandfather was an ape in the past and there is an evidence now to prove this, let us have the courage to state it. But my own research has shown that there are links between the Yorubas, Edos, Itsekiris and other areas with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jews and Palestine. There is the need to further carry out research on these races to see more of the links yet to be established.

Again, out of these races, the only language that can be broken into different sub-dialects is the Yoruba language. You have the varieties of the language as: Akoko, Ibolo, Igbomina, Ekiti, Ijesha, Ijebu, Okun Ibarapa and so on. There is no language on earth that has the flexibility of Yoruba language. Other languages like Edo and Itsekiri must have developed the ways other languages or dialects in Yoruba developed. In Itsekiri, you hear names that are Yoruba like Obasuwa, Obasuyi and so on.

One would have thought that you would dissipate your energies on legal matters. Why the interest in these other disciplines?

Though I am a Professor of Law, I am interested in these subjects. I want to be referred to tomorrow as a professor of Law, History and Christian Religious knowledge. So, having gotten PhD in law, I want to have it also in Christian religious knowledge and History. I am almost completing that of my Christian Knowledge, and I am putting in for PhD in History. These feats I want to achieve before I am 60 years of age. After 60, I may go abroad and pursue PhD in Literature and Economics as well. I studied all these subjects in my Higher School Certificate level and have Masters degrees in them.

6000 Nigerians in foreign jails over drug offences
BY OKEY NDIRIBE & EMMAN OVUAKPORIE
ABUJ A — Director-General, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Mr Femi Ajayi, weekend, said over 6,000 Nigerians were serving various jail terms across the globe for drug related offences.

Ajayi told the Abike Dabiri-Erewa-led House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters in Abuja that Nigeria had more of its nationals in prisons outside the country than any other African country.

Ajayi who listed some of the countries as Iran 4,000, Brazil 500, Thailand 500, Malaysia 300, said the list was more than that “but that was what we have for now.”

He said the bulk of those caught for drug related offences outside the country were from the South-East with majority coming from Anambra State.

“I don’t know what we can do about the large number of our brothers from the South-East who indulge in this illicit business. Can you believe that of the 500 Nigerians in Thailand prisons, 480 of them are from the South-East and 450 from it are from Anambra State?”

Ajayi further said the agency had been facing many challenges hindering the optimal performance of its duties as an enforcement agency on drug related matters.

He listed these challenges to include poor funding, lack of necessary equipment, uncooperative attitude of some collaborative agencies, lack of capacity building for staff and difficulty in tracking down drug barons.

“For instance in 2011, our capital budget was N84.5 million but only N61 million was released. Our overheads also reduced from N630 million in 2011 to N600 million despite the fact that our staff strength increased from 3,200 to 5,300,” he said.

Ajayi said that Nigeria has not been able to buy a single scanner for its airport commanders since inauguration of the agency but rely on donation from advanced countries, despite the fact that a scanner costs only N30 million.

He said another major challenge confronting the agency was that it was not allowed at the sea port where most of the couriers now use to transact their illegal business.

Said he:“The fact that we were sent out of the seaports will facilitate the entry of more drugs into the country and worsen the situation. ‘’

Ajayi, who pleaded with the committee to assist it solve some of its challenges, said there was need to have a drug attaché in some specific embassies abroad to see to the drug related offences in those countries as the image of Nigeria was involved.

Hon. Dabiri-Erewa, who decried the bad image the increasing number of Nigeria prisoners abroad was giving to the country, asked the agency to come up with a comprehensive plan for its operations.

How safe is the comparison of the roots of Yoruba and Semitic words since the language of the former is tonal and references of the latter have mostly been compiled by oyinbo people who aren't aware that the original languages spoken in the Levant were/are likewise tonal?

Could the word "owner" be derived from "Ooni"?

Since the Egun who are a coastal people are the descendants of the ancient coastal Aegean people after whom the Aegean sea is named, the descendants of Mizraim (Egypt; Genesis 10:13-14), their vocabulary should be quite useful for this thread.

Proof of the deceitful anthropological studies by the Amorites can be seen in their reference work "Dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible" in which the roots of Biblical nouns are discussed and which many have been led to believe as factual. Here, they acknowledge that the name of Olodumare is, according to their transliteration, EHYE AND YEH (written in Yoruba as Iye and Ye), but still write the name fully as Yahweh instead of Yehweh (written in Yoruba as Yewe). Another is the acknowledgement that the Messiah's name is Yeshu(a) but coupled with the insistence without proof that Jesus is Yeshu(a), and that they've not been able to show any equivalency between Messiah and Christ. Also, they intentionally refused to discuss the word "Amen"/"Amin" because there was nothing like that in the original texts as they replaced Ashe with Amen. The discussion of "Amen" would have exposed their fraud/abomination. Support for this is given in Exodus 3:14 where Iye describes Himself as the EHYE ASHER EHYE, written in Yoruba as IYE ASHE IYE.
Christianity Etc › Re: Comparison Table Between Christianity, Islam And Judaism by amor4ce(m): 4:31am On Aug 28, 2012
Similarity-: the three constitute the axis/tripod/triangle of evil and are based on fraud.

The true Israelites did not practice the Judaism of the synagogue of satan. The Judaeans, prior to the birth of the ROCK, were already getting HELLenized as they were comparing HIM to Zeus and calling HIM Christ, both HELLenist terms but never Israelite, and the result of colonization by the HELLenists. Thus the Judaeans had been forgetting HIS name and following the HELLenist Zeus. The Hasmoneans resisted but later became HELLenized, bearing HELLenist names and partaking in the HELLenist culture. One of the reasons the ROCK came to remind HIS people of HIS name and their true spiritual system (not Judaism), but many despised HIM. After HE ascended, the Romans carried out the HELLenization with insane viciousness, much more than that by the Greeks as recorded in the books of Maccabees, destroyed the Temple in AD70 as prophesied by the ROCK and built their own temple to Zeus (Jupiter) on the site, slaughtered the Judaeans, confiscated and perhaps destroyed original manuscripts (show me an original copy of any of the new testament books), and cloned these manuscripts but with substituted names. One of such substitutions is the replacement of Eshu/Yeshu with Zeus and Messiah with Christ. Google "Yeshu" and you'd see that the synagogue of satan know that is HIS name but they hate it because satan is their father. These same pattern of events have occurred to us today: the Portuguese/Spanish/Dutch invaded Africa south of the sahara, carried away slaves and destroying our cultures and introducing theirs; the British/French/German/Belgians later came to further this Westernization (HELLenizaion) though pretending to be friends; our people are being westernized, bearing western names, dressing western, eating western, living western etc; our people hate and utter blasphemies against Eshu, blindly and foolishly accepting the HELLenist deceit (the model is described in Jeremiah 25). Till date the HELLenists/West/oyinbo have not been able to show that Christ is equivalent to Messiah and Jesus to Yeshu but cover up the obvious fact that Zeus is the same as Jesus.

The Turks and others invaded the Middle East till the population became whitewashed (phony Arabs, phony Palestinians), then they introduced their own religion called Islam. If there is any truth in Islam the oyinbo people of the Middle East would have admitted that they forced their way there and are not the actual natives. As for the Palestinians, the true Palestinians descended from Mizraim (Egypt; Genesis 10:13-14), meaning that they had Negro features.

These oyinbo people of Christianity-Islam-Judaism were described as Eshu as the violent ones who took heaven by force (Matthew 11:12), not the shoryuken interpretation by christians.

We should take into consideration that the transliteration of ancient texts from Egypt, Israel, Assyria, Mesopotamia, etc into English scripts has been done by Amorites (oyinbo) who, in their attempts at identity theft, refused to seek inputs from the native peoples of the associated cultures. Hence many, especially those of us who use borrowed HELLenist (Greco-Roman) orthography, may not initially see the connection between Isese and Isis, and the likes. I have noticed that when the HELLenist transliterate nouns from these cultures into theirs, they truncate vowels from nouns that end in such and add consonants to nouns that end in vowels, probably (my opinion )for the purpose of deceitfully making these nouns similar to those of their languages. Added to this is the poor translation by the HELLenists. Other examples abound e.g. Daodu-Daud/Dawood/David (they say it means "beloved), Aare-Aaron (they don't know), Ifa-Ephod, Eshu-Yeshu (an exception; they say it means "Yewe saves" but then replaced it in their cloned texts with "Jesus" for which no demonstration of equivalency has been provided because it just doesn't exist), Edo-Edom, Adimu-Adam, and many more. Thus it is possible that there is nothing like Isis but Isese, which native Egyptians should be able to confirm.

Perhaps it would help for the native speakers to study the similar words by comparing the contexts (areas of anthropology excluding linguistics) in which they are used. In this regard I would have loved to help with Isese-Isis and Aboru-Horus but my Yoruba is yet poor.

mkmyers45: Well, the bible is quite shady on this topic and makes it very difficult for us to understand what really happened but i draw my own analogy from the fact that jesus supposedly lived in egypt and the greater similarities between his life and acts and that of Osiris/Horus

HORUS/OSIRIS of Egypt
The legends of Osiris/Horus go back thousands of years, and many people over the millennia have thought Osiris to be a real person, some claiming he lived up to
22,000 years ago.
The cult of Osiris, Isis and Horus was widespread in the ancient
world, including in Rome. In the Egyptian myth, Horus and his
once-and-future Father, Osiris, are frequently interchangeable, as in “I and my Father are one.” Concerning Osiris, Walker says:
Of all savior-gods worshipped at the beginning of the Christian era, Osiris may have contributed more details to the evolving Christ figure than any other. Already very old in Egypt, Osiris was identified with nearly every other Egyptian god and was on the way to absorbing them all. He had well over 200 divine names. He was called the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, God of Gods.

· Horus was born of the virgin Isis-Meri on December 25th in a cave/manger with his birth being announced by a star in the East and attended by three wise men.
· His earthly father was named “Seb” (“Joseph”).
· He was of royal descent.
· At age 12, he was a child teacher in the Temple, and at 30, he was
baptized, having disappeared for 18 years.
· Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus or Iarutana (Jordan) by “Anup the Baptizer” (“John the Baptist”), who was decapitated.
· He had 12 disciples, two of whom were his “witnesses” and were
named “Anup” and “Aan” (the two “Johns”).
· He performed miracles, exorcised demons and raised El-Azarus (“El-
Osiris”), from the dead.
· Horus walked on water.
· His personal epithet was “Iusa,” the “ever-becoming son” of “Ptah,”
the “Father.” He was thus called “Holy Child.”
· He delivered a “Sermon on the Mount” and his followers recounted
the “Sayings of Iusa.”
· Horus was transfigured on the Mount.
· He was crucified between two thieves, buried for three days in a
tomb, and resurrected.
· He was also the “Way, the Truth, the Light,” “Messiah,” “God’s
Anointed Son,” the “Son of Man,” the “Good Shepherd,” the “Lamb of
God,” the “Word made flesh,” the “Word of Truth,” etc.
· He was “the Fisher” and was associated with the Fish (“Ichthys”),
Lamb and Lion.
· He came to fulfill the Law.
· Horus was called “the KRST,” or “Anointed One.”
· Like Jesus, “Horus was supposed to reign one thousand years.”
Furthermore, inscribed about 3,500 years ago on the walls of the Temple at Luxor were images of the Annunciation, Immaculate Conception, Birth and Adoration of Horus, with Thoth announcing to the Virgin Isis that she will conceive
Horus; with Kneph, the “Holy Ghost,” impregnating the virgin; and with the infant being attended by three kings, or magi, bearing gifts. In addition, in the catacombs at Rome are pictures of the baby Horus being held by the virgin mother Isis—the original “Madonna and Child.”
As Massey says:
It was the gnostic art that reproduced the Hathor-Meri and Horus of Egypt as the Virgin and child-Christ of Rome . . . You poor idiotai, said the Gnostics [to the early Christians], you have mistaken the mysteries of old for modern history, and accepted literally all that was only meant mystically.
Moreover, A. Churchward relates another aspect of the Egyptian religion found in Catholicism:
We see in the ancient Catholic churches, over the main altar, an equilateral triangle, and within it an eye. The addition of the eye to the triangle originated in Egypt—“the all seeing eye of Osiris.”

I have tried to study Osiris and i find that pre-jesus pharaohs and gods made refernece to Osiris/Horus way before jesus was born so i wonder if Jesus's true life story is known or was it just copy, edit and paste
