In life, there is a price for everything. On this very forum I've had some ladies saying that "It is better to be crying inside a jeep than laughing on top a bicycle"

So, to some it is all about what they can see and touch at the moment.

Titusolufemi: I will apprc8 it if i knw more abt d product and d level of demand.i stays in sango ota
It is air freshener that is used in the car, office and home. Because of the quality and packaging the demand is on the increase. It contains 20pcs in a pack. U can retail them or distribute to shops and stores and boys that sells at hold-up and those that hawk at ur discretion. But to make almost 100% profit am talking about is when u retail them. A carton contains 50packets, that is 1000pcs.

There was a guy like you in Kogi State that came across it on this platform and contact me. Today he has something to say positively.

If u are interested call me.

#team never raise your hand against your spouse
I pray so. Because most of this wife/husband beater/abuser are from abusive home. I've seen some like this that is why I always feel for the children. But I think in a situation where the children are not allowed to see such "movie" for a long period of time, there is a possibility of them growing up into a normal human being.

My brother you have to be very careful. Its better to walk away now than turning your future home to wrestling pitch.

If I may ask, is she from abusive home? Because if yes, it's most likely for her to repeat what she has seen over the years.

Think deep, don't be carried away by skeletal love.

No matter how baaaaad a spouse turn out to be, THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE MISSED when you are separated! You can NEVER FIND A REPLACEMENT!!!!

Na so NAIJA men be! CHAMPIONS IN DOMESTIC ABUSE! Especially, in that HELL HOLE called Nigeria! cheesy

In this day and age? Domestic abuse still dey reign? undecided

TUFIAAAAAAKWA!!!!!
My sister I understand how you feel. But not all Naija men as u quoted in your post are wife beater. I'm a married man, even while dating I have never, can never and will never raise my fingers let alone hands on my lovely angel. She is me, so how can I beat myself. I've never seen my dad did such so I cannot.

Its more of keeping calm by men even when the woman is all out. Because, within some minutes you will come to understand that there was no need for fight.

Its well.

The problem is that a lot of people believe in secrecy. Do you know that some couplse are practising this, they call it privacy. It start from phone password to more important issues. Personally I don't know how to describe such behaviour.

The funny thing is that the so cal secret, somebody somewhere has access to it. But in their minds, they believe that their loved ones should not know of such information.

And they also believe that they have power over all things. What a pathetic mindset!

To cut a long story short. I got a called from a fellow NL who got to know about my product. To prove to him that I am for real, I sent him free sample but he paid for the way bill. After he received the samples, he fell in love with it based on the fact that when he showed people around, they equally place order from him as well and as such he placed order for a carton(1000pcs)

But how to deliver and payment issue was our next concern. Because of so many scam stories here on NL, I would not blame him for being skeptical about it.

To God be the glory, my journey will see me passing through his town where he lives. That means, I will stop by to give him the product and collect my money. But again to be rest assured that he will not disappoint, I ask him to make advance payment before I deliver. Again, he asked that I should bring the product that he will pay. At this point, I informed my wife of the whole scenario which she told me to be very careful. Because according to my wife, I will be at the mercy of this my client since im not planning to come to Abuja with the product if he fails to pay.

So after much discussions and re-assurance. I decided to honor his word. So yesterday I set out on my journey and we were in touch all through till we met. As the driver parked for passengers to refresh themselves, I called him that am around. Within some minutes he showed up. At this point, I was relieved at least. But to confirm my wife initial concerns, when he brought out money after counting it, it was half of the agreed amount. Oh my God! I was disappointed. For a few second, I couldn't say a word. I asked him why he didn't inform me ahead. Because he came with some of his friends and one elderly person. They all promised me that the balance will be paid into my account before 10am today(23/8/13) that I should not worry. It was a big decision to make considering the fact that I'm seeing him for the first time, I don't know anything about him. After a few minute of chatting with them, I asked him to go with the product and do as he promised.

To be honest with you guys. When I got to Abuja and met my wife, she asked how was the transaction, whether the guy had paid. I said yes, because I didn't want to disappoint her and promised that today I will share the whole story with her whatever be the case.

Brothers and sisters, around 7am I saw his missed call and called back. He said that he wanted to be sure of the account number. At exactly 10:06am I received an alert from my bank for the balance.

Dear client, I want to assure you that we would continue to do business together and that God will continually bless the works of your hands in Jesus Name. Amen

Remain blessed.

Cina, I quite understand how you feel about this issue. Its a difficult task. It really got me thinking if people can willingly accept "house helps" who are HIV+ to take charge of their children. I remembered where I work before, a girl was sent packing just because she tested hiv+.

Indeed it's a difficult decision to make considering the fact that their job detail is quite sensitive. It is different from official job.

I dont want anyone stalking me 24/7 and running down my phone battery for me, just because you want me to invest in your bank, besides isnt the money just moving around anyway?

. . . . A marketer from UBA comes along and manages to convince me to move my money to UBA. So I go to GTB and withdraw my money (the same money o) and put it in UBA. It stays there until a marketer from Access bank sees me driving my "borrowed" Prado and starts chasing me around to transfer the same money in UBA into Access bank! The thing is just going round in circles and its not as if I have a naira printing machine in my backyard.

Sister there is nothing to worry about in this institution "marriage". Don't get urself worked up. I can tell u that marriage is d best thing that can happen to individual who desire such. I enjoy every second of my marriage.

But u see to some couples it's hell on earth. Prepare for the best not worst. Don't allow others' bad experience influence ur marriage. U are getting married to a living being whom I believe will equally be working towards having a beautiful home. So there is no need for all that worries.

When u get there, humble urself to know what he wants and make efforts to do just that, when u do that, u will not only have a peaceful home but, u will equally enjoy ur marriage. All the problems u see and hear abt marriage are caused by husband and wife. So make up ur mind to be a good wife.

There is no space here, I would have love to tell u about my wife. I enjoy her to "pieces" and she does too. Our worlds wouldn't have completed with each other. So, I don't know how others miss it.

Oya, sisters in d house help her remove fears.

bellong: What I did, when I sued WAEC, I joined the University in the suit so as to place an hold on the expulsion. Your lawyer will educate you more on this. Get an injunction from court to stop the university from expelling her pending the termination of the law suit against WAEC.

Because of the lazy judge my case was assigned to at the igbosere high court, it took us about 3yrs to complete the case. WAEC issued me a certificate because I won the case against them. The big problem here is the girl being in the final year, the school will definitely allow her to finish due to the court injunction but will not release her result until the case is resolved.

I will not discourage you to go to WAEC for mutual resolution but I am not sure the outcome. That place is an "institutional evil". It will be so easy for her if someone in her center had taken WAEC to court for same reason. In that case, they will just validate the result of everybody in the center. The South-west zonal coordinator told me then if it had been a year for which someone had sued and won WAEC on same issue, they would just issue me a certificate.

After going to WAEC for amicable resolution and it doesn't bring forth any positive solution, her only chance is the law court. There may be another avenue I do not know of anyway.
Thanks for your detailed explanation. It's well.
Family › Re: Can Already Released Result Be Cancelled By WAEC? by amtheone(op): 12:01pm On Aug 09, 2013
bellong: Hey, sorry to hear about your friend's ordeal. WAEC normally do that with no substantial reason.

I was once in that position. In my case, I was already in year 2 in the university. It was even the university's period checking of WAEC results that brought it to my knowledge because the school expelled me on that ground.

How did I resolve it? I took WAEC to court and won the case because WAEC had nothing against me to warrant their action.

I will suggest he does same. Going to their head office wouldn't solve problem. It will only compound it. I tried that too, met with regional and zonal coordinators. They only advised me to sit for another exam because they believe there was a good reason for my result to be cancelled about 4yrs after releasing the result.
Hmmm. Will this girl be able to stand this. She is in her final year in Uni. She is already worried. I'm hoping that Waec will sort this out without much issue.

But bellong after u won did they issue u ur certificate and did it affect ur academic calender.

What do u think considering the fact that the girl is in her final year, if matter gets worst and has to go through court will it not affect her program. Will the school give her "special attention" pending when her case is resolved.

Our systems does not have human face (inhumane)

Pls throw more light. Thanks

Ok. Well we don't know the quantity involved and price index but whatever it is, I believe there is a way forward. He may need to reduce price like u rightly pointed out.

He may also has to go elsewhere still in the same Onitsha about from the conventional market where he can market the watch like schools(higher institutions etc).

There is a lot that goes into any successful endeavour.

Syllang I will soon communicate with u regarding our deal.

theodavid: I jst startd a mini watch importation and am in onitsha and i discover dat most people selling watches in onitsha main market also import their watches from china and it really affecting the price of watches so i need your advice and am tinking if you can help get people i can supply some of the watches outside onitsha
David

Though ur question was not directed to me. Pls Sir Syllang permit me to make a few suggestion here.

Going into business u have to decide two things-its either consumable or not. What I mean by consumable, I mean things that people can quickly use and within a short time ask for another one. In that way no matter how saturated d market is u will always have a share of the market.

Here u are into watch that is not consumable, so the "big boys" are taking over the market share seemingly price-wise.

Now what I will advise, u can still continue with ur watch import if u find it neccessary but look for another product that u won't struggle to sell especially consumable items. That way even in that Onitsha u will still make ur money.

Again u have to consider how long does it take to dispose ur watch frm d day u receive them. If it takes longer, it means u are likely to finish ur profit on logistics. Also, do people buy on credit, which I believe it is possible. There are so many items that u can import and dispose of within some days or weeks.

It is like a person that sells recharge card and the one that sells laptop. U can never compare the two in terms of profit margin.

Let me share my business experience a little. I was into laptop importation (Original from Uk) and I was having issues with marketing. I had to stop and went into ladies shoes. I will travel to Cotonou and purchase them. Again, there was issue of credit. I was doing mobile marketing which involved moving around with the shoes, I was almost at d mercy of ladies - they will collect the shoes but to pay was always an issue. As am typing this, there are some that are still owing me. In fact I've considered such as bad debt.

But by God's grace I was able to discover something that am doing now, which is debt-free. I can comfortably make more than 10k in a day without anybody owing me one naira. In that way, I can project my future and tell how events play out in my business.

So, look inward and make the right move. I wish u d best.
