Good morning all.

My friend who is a Ghanian came into Lagos about 10days ago to buy goods(mostly hand sanitizer).

He was able to buy all his goods but he can't travel back because of the lockdown order in Lagos. He has spent so much money on hotel and others.

His business is suffering as a result of his absent.

Pls anyone with useful information on how he can go back should please share here. Thank you.

This is my 7th year in marriage, tbh it has not been easy to stay faithful.
Though my wife is okay (atleast to my standard, she is pretty) but going to different seminars, workshops, church, office, mostly out of town (i stay atleast 6 months away from home every year), it's really not easy to be faithful and focused but with time and discipline, i thank God have been faithful.
My greatest motivation of staying faithful is because i believe your wife will really really appreciate 30% of what you do to outside chicks.
For example, if am to have a gf, cost of maintaining her for a month, hotel cost, pocket money, gifts, outings like restaurants, movies etc may likely be around 30-50k for a low-cost or low-budget nigerian gf but if i take half of that which is 25k and spend it on my wife and son, they will love me more, respect me more and are also more likely to stay behind me on rough days when maybe am broke unlike a gf that will just run away.
Taking my family for a weekend swimming at Abeokuta where i stay will cost us 2.5k, a cinema movie 2k at oopl, olumo rock 2k, zoo 1k, sweet sensation 4-5k, buy her a gift like maybe 5-8k wrist watch, lingeries etc will go far far far in the marriage than spending on one useless multipurpose nigerian gf.
Even a family weekend at iabdan or beach will go a long way.
Men are spending through their nose on gfs and am not ready for that.
A weekend at togo 5 years ago with my wife went a long way in our marriage.
She is not ready to lose me or mess around because most men out there spend more on gfs than wives

She has been able to get the phone number of the criminal. She called him this morning and the guy said he is in Ikotun in lagos and that he is going to his herbalist that she can't do anything.

My sister in-law is in Ondo State. I'm asking if she reports to the police in Ondo state, can anything be done about it?

Please nairalanders, I need your help. Yesterday(3/2/20) my sister inlaw called to inform me that all the money in her account and that of her mum were all wiped out by fraudsters.

This was what happened, my mother inlaw who is a retired civil servant received a call from an unknown person asking her to give details of her ATM that there is an issue with her account and needed urgent attention. The caller pretended to be a staff of the bank. At that point, she gave the phone number of her daughter who is the one managing her account.

The guy then call her using the same format, she ignorantly gave him all the sensitive details that the criminal needed to execute his evil plan. Surprisingly, she did not only give out only her mum's details but she also gave out her own details. Within a few minutes, all the money in the two accounts were all wiped out.

I remember there was a thread on FP sometimes ago on how one could go about to recover his money under this circumstance. Pls any one with the link should help post it here and any other information that can be of help.

Note: She has reported the case to her bank, but from her bank's response, it seems nothing much can be done.

It seems like this platform has pratically turned to a "war zone". No polite argument anymore. Every argument must end with an insult.

I'm tempted to ask, could it be a result of harsh economy and frustration? I still remember, when I joined this platform in 2013 I think, one could express his/her views without being insulted. Unfortunately, such cannot be said of these days. Some will even go as far as insulting the parents of those whose views they don't agree. It's quite unfortunate and a sad situation.

Secondly, circumstances are different..
I would also honestly advice divorce for a marriage where one of the partners sleeps with or gets pregnant for a relative of their spouse. It's a no-brainer, unless of course there are still certain circumstances where divorce may not be feasible. There are boundaries you should never cross, and relatives are one of such IMO so I don't think she's done bad by advocating divorce in such a situation.
