I must say you have tried, getting this far (more greese to your elbow) and In respect of Marketting, advertisement is the the keyword to search for in whatever Strategy you wish to use and being a manufacturer, you are on the right part of your chosen market (resellers but not limited to supermarket and stores).

I am having a difficult time recommending a particular strategy because
1. I don't have much info (physicaly) on the product yet and
2. A Conflict of interest seems to exist

Yet, as a manufacturer producing a marketable product, your 1st target is the reseller or wholeseller(since you produce in large quantity to have conquered the whole of Lagos state)

I shall expect more info on your product from you. Reply by posting it here for benefit of people folowing this thread or send to my email. So with more info, I hope I can do more to assist.

Thanks for this write up. I am into Auto Air Freshener Production(Paper Type) which can be used at home and office as well. I started this business in 2012 and so far I have experienced some level of progress. It lasts long and has a nice fragrance. The demand is increasing.

What I did this year was to re-brand it which makes it more presentable(Packaging). By this re-branding, the perception has changed to a larger extent(positively).

Each packet contains 20pcs for easy marketing and I distribute to Shops, supermarket etc at the cost of N1,000-N1,200. Right now am the only one doing the marketing and distribution. So I seriously need help regarding this.

Now I want to take it outside Lagos state in term of marketing. Please how will you advise me to go about this or can your company assist in marketing directly or indirectly. I can make a pack available to you if necessary.

The easiest way for you to block the behind the scene move of the financier later is to negotiate with the company to make you the sole distributor for Nigeria. I am not sure if Chinese will do that. You can try it anyway.

In between, it will be better the thread is moved to business section.

Why the guy is so happy is that he didn't know that he can import directly from China without having to leave Nigeria. Because the "big boys" who are into the importation of this very product made it almost impossible for others to venture into it.

Again, I think I will let him have a free ride at a fee by exposing him to the whole process.

The market here in Nigeria is big enough to accommodate many.

I met a particular dealer which is so much interested in financing it (it will cost about 8million) to buy 20ft container.

Now my concern is, how do we maintain a healthy relationship in this business without having issues because my money is not involved. I only discover d product and do all the communication with the suplier in China.

He promised to give me a particular percent once the deed is done, that is, to get the product to Nigeria, though we have not agreed yet on that because he wants to know the total cost for shipping and clearing.

Am planning to involve a lawyer so as to prepare a legal document for both of us to sign.

Again, am thinking if after the first transaction he gets to know everything, will he go behind me and do the importation without involving me anymore, because my wife is not comfortable with the idea.

Pls if anyone has done this kind of deal successfully should please share his/her experience.

And please I will like to know how much is ur service charge for buying and shipping the container because I will like you to interface with the supplier once we agree on the price for the product so that you can check to ensure that it is actually what i want.

For the pains, she has run all the neccessary tests and scan which the doctor confirmed that there is nothing wrong with her. That the pains are as a result of changes in her system.

After reading those links u guys directed me to, am more prepared now than ever to go all out in making sure she gets d best treatment from me.

Let me quickly boil water for her to have her bath and prepare her breakfast before she asks what have I been doing on phone since oh - Lol.

Vikin: Her nose will be very sensitive to smell now, so keep your self always fresh when u are by her side during the massage section. She might be allergic to deodorant but your freshness will help her. Who knows, jigijigi might take place and it will increase her energy level.

Ok, I get it now. She is very sensitive. For d body spray, it almost a no no situation for now. For d jigijigi, it has been put on hold - lol.

Infact, its a new world am living in. But am trying my best to give her the best attention. But throwing-up, oh my God.

I was even swearing and cursing hubby..9 months no gree reach sef but at the end, it came to pass...

Let her hang in there, maybe register in a birth club like babycenter dot com, discuss with people on her birth plan, like that they discuss their problem and console them selves.

First of all I want to say welldone for a great job u have done.

Pls I want know how u cope during the early stage of pregnancy.

My wife is going through so much and the amazing thing is that there is no medication that can take away all discomforts and pains associating with the early pregnancy.

If I have to write my experience, it will be long. No two mornings, afternoons, evening and nights are the same. I maybe out to get a particular item that she likes, while on my way back I may receieve alert to get something else. Hmmm.

Throwing up and cleaning up can be so wonderful. Thank God that I know how to cook and clean up, otherwise maybe I would have looked for help.

Sometime we called a doctor believing that we may get all in one solution, but we ended up getting "she needs to relax and get enough rest". If it is rest she has had it all.

Pls is there anything she can do or take to reduce this systematic discomfort and tireness.

Where exactly are u? If u are in lagos, u can get fairly cheap PC(p4) for like 15k or so and screen. U won't need big generator bbcos of fuel consumption. 5.5kva gen will serve u betterr, I think. Get 3in1 printer(printer, scaner,photocopy-though not for comercial photocopy) and one black and white printer so dat ur ink in 3in1 wwill last.

I will only say something abt ISP once I know ur location. Hope u will bbe the manager?

Fan: u will need like 3 small fan.

Chairs: get a gud carpenter to make u strong chairs that can stand pressure.

Table: Also get a carpenter to make u gud table base on the number of PC.

Attendant: Get a smart friendly guy/lady that is computer liiterate. Pls don't compromise this area.

Above all, u have to be ready for the heat that comes with this business. If u can manage it well, u can make something out of it
