MetaPhysical:OGA YOU ARE A MORALIST AND WE ARE TALKING ABOVE 18 YRS |
Big Brother is almost coming to an end with a lot of issues being thrown up. One of the most contending issues is the disqualification of Tacha, known as enfant terrible of the house, Tacha had a brawl with Mercy and it was seen where she was dragging Mercy’s hair against Big Brother Rules of going physical on any housemate. This disqualification has brought a bit boredom in the house with Tacha gone, Mercy and Diane are the two last remaining women in the house while the dramatic, charismatic and Port Harcourt first daughter is out. Mercy has taken to crying lately with Diane following the suit, leaving Elozonam and Ikenna (IK) to console the two ladies. Crying has been the order of the day in the house with some ladies becoming inconsolable, especially Mercy. Mercy demonstrated remorse and contrite when Tacha was disqualified, she was inconsolable and she literary cried Imo Rover,a popular river in her state that empties at the Atlantic. Not yet, Mercy brought her cards on the table. Unlike what most girls are in Nigeria, trying to fake it till they make it, Mercy brought her family to the fore, she said “ I think yesterday a blessing to me. Ike has promised me that he wants to meet my family, he is the realest and I feel grateful of having you guys as friends in this house. I never knew that I would come this far. I never had the privileged background like some of you.” “My brothers didn’t attend to university, not even secondary school, they can’t communicate with Ike in English and Ike is having it a bit hard speaking Igbo. Though, he is trying, but , the fact still remains that I know where I am coming from and I am here not to form but this is me. I thank the Lord for bringing me this far and when I looked at where I am coming from, I have nothing than to shed tears. I have to see myself through school. I wanted to be educated, I am the only educated person amongst my siblings. We are six. We stayed in a room and mum has been there. My project and motive after this show is to ensure that I send my brothers to school. They would speak English like me. I have roasted corn at the road side, I have sold fuel, I have done a whole lot. It is always annoying when people try to define me, they don’t know me”, she sobbed. Diane. Elozonam and Ike was consoling Mercy, but at a point, Diane took over the crying because f the hardship that she passed through. Having lost her father since 2012,Diane said that since that year, things have been very hard for her and the family, with one misfortune or the other. With few days remaining for the reality show to round up, the few housemates have shown resillience, true to their character and finally bonded well. "26-year-old Mercy Eke is a video vixen and businesswoman based in Lagos. She loves cooking, swimming, travelling and dancing. No matter the setbacks, Mercy always picks herself up and does her best. “I’m grateful for each and every day. Being alive today is already the highest point of my life”. When she’s not dancing, singing or rapping, Mercy makes time to enjoy her favourite food: white rice and pepper soup. If she had a million dollars in her account, would Sugar still be in the BB Naija game? “Yes, I would. I want the fame. The popularity is very important for my business” Her profile reads at the Big Brother Website. https://etimes.com.ng/big-brother-nigeria-my-brothers-cant-speak-simple-english-mercy-cried/ https://etimes.com.ng/big-brother-nigeria-my-brohers-cant-speak-simple-english-mercy-cried/

Blue3k:He is one of the people the people the writer spoke about...the religious and the conservative ones So that's why I didn't bother responding to him |
Luxembourg and maybe Holland took the lead in Europe to ensure that their citizens smoke marijuana in peace! These are the most stable countries in Western Europe and also the countries with lowest crime rate. So do we say weed causes deviant behaviour. Weed is seen as medicinal in some advanced countries and this has prompted Nigerians to as simple question; why don't we revisit the legality of marijuana in the country? Deemed an illicit drug by the law, it had always been an offense in Nigeria to smoke marijuana, and it has largely been frowned upon by society. Nigeria is a largely traditional and very conservative society with an overwhelming majority religious, so the issue of marijuana and legality becomes a huge burden on the shoulders of modernists and a taboo topic for the aged, religious and possibly parents. We can pretend, act or form that marijuana is bad, yes, to an extend but do we pretend that it lacks medical benefits especially for cancer patients and other terminally ill ones amongst us? Do we watch these members of the society suffer and sacrifice them on the altar of conservatism? Today we have medical marijuana! A new term that allow folks smoke weed, according to a report by The National Institute of Drug Abuse. United States, puts it this way "The term medical marijuana refers to using the whole, unprocessed marijuana plant or its basic extracts to treat symptoms of illness and other conditions. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not recognized or approved the marijuana plant as medicine." According to an online site, Drugs.com it defined it this way "Cannabis, also called marijuana, pot, weed, or hash, is a drug that comes from the cannabis sativa (hemp plant). The medicinal use of cannabis is also called medical marijuana. The whole plant or its extracts can be used to control or relieve medical or mental health conditions. The effects may start right away and last for 3 to 4 hours. Cannabis may be taken in the form of a pill, capsule, oil, or mouth spray. Cannabis can also be smoked, baked into food, or made into tea." If you have had a relative that had cancer, you would know the pains , I have had that on a personal basis and it is so hurtful seeing the person you so much love in pains and yet you just can't do anything. This is the most devastating effects that one can feel. The pharmaceutical firms are still dilly dallying on the cure for cancer and we don't even know what causes it ? Such a crazy thing! Maybe the big pharmaceutical firms are cool with the funds and the profit they are making from the ailment or possibly it is not in their priority list to find a cure but here we have mother nature to the rescue .Weed! Marijuana, wee wee and Endo ! These are the names we call it here in Nigeria ! Countries are legalising marijuana, in Africa , countries like South Africa. In the developed world, countries like Canada and So0me areas in the US have areas that one can "get high" nicely and in peace. Regulations vary across Canada’s 10 provinces and three territories. For instance, those in Ontario can only purchase weed online via the government-run Ontario Cannabis Store, whereas in Saskatchewan, only licensed private retail stores can sell pot. Uruguay became the first country to fully legalize marijuana in 2013 and last year began allowing sales in local pharmacies . Other countries like Spain, Holland, USA, in Australia, Britain and other countries , there are areas that weed is legalised and some categorised them as a Class C drug. Bring it back home, in Nigeria do we do the weed thing? We can't pretend that we don't have smokers and neither do we pretend that we don't have planters and exporters ! But what we can't pretend is that we are losing revenue from regulations and the drug agencies must start looking at a multi billion Naira market here! People have been inundated of the efficacy of weed and the developed world , especially in the United States are cashing in on the revenue that accrues from it, is weed now legal? aA state in USA, Colorado is topping the chart in revenues from weed. Lately, Colorado passes $1 billion in marijuana state revenue. There have been medical research on weed and how it helps cancer patients. But, we are still in Nigeria and weed is not that accepted ! In short smoking weed is seen as a deviant act and Fela of the blessed memory was seen as a deviant but unfortunately for those that saw him as one , Fela was one of the finest cultural export in the country ! So do weed smokers act funny ? That is a rhetorical question! When we were in school they told us that weed is bad, we just stopped it, now we are out of school and they are telling us weed is cool and it cures a whole lot Toady, a lot have changed and these guys from the Western world are confusing us... We are at the cross road whether to smoke or not to smoke...even those that want to smoke, do they even know how to mold? What is our legislation on weed now that we have known the potency of weed in curing cancer. "The intoxicating chemical in marijuana is tetrahydracannabinol, or THC. According to research from the Potency Monitoring Project, the average THC content of marijuana has soared from less than 1 percent in 1972, to 3 to 4 percent in the 1990s, to nearly 13 percent in 2010. Today, some retail marijuana has 30 percent THC or more. The increased potency makes it difficult to determine the short- and long-term effects of marijuana", Lauren Cox of Life Sciences opined. https://etimes.com.ng/now-that-marijuana-is-getting-accepted-do-we-allow-our-kids-to-smoke/

larrypourl:Benz engine is cheap because nobody buys them .... The engine rarely dies! The C230 (2000)engine is around 60k ML 320 engine (2000 - 2004) engine is around 90k The shocks of ML 320, ML450 is around 25k - 30k because they rarely die and it's OEM specified So do the maths |
ubecharles:Tell them |
row2ray:tell him |
greenhulk:Oga Rolls-Royce has always been an independent brand with independent history and that is clear ..even though there was BMW ownership or partnership but that can't be said of Lexus ....it's just a rebadged Toyota period
|
greenhulk:There are things we don't argue in public.... Lexus is just a glorified Toyota, they use the same engine parts Oga It's the same company as Lexus is the division of Toyota Motor Corp. Lexus is the luxury brand made by Toyota. They are all Toyota engines designed for different models no matter what badge is on the car. Lexus are just Toyota with just fancy seats ...period Why have this conversation in a benz thread...why bring up Toyota in a benz conversation
|
Logobenz:Okay bro.... I think we have to advice him on how to take good care of the benz... You know the phobia and fear people have created around benz and BMW are unfounded |

jeraw:Yeah he is right, that was the car I was driving before I got the SUV Benz |

Benz is a good brand. But the ML headlamp the new model is about 45k to 50k last price! The ordinary headlamp is about 15k! The only thing that is expensive in Benz to my own knowledge is the body parts Like the back bumper of my car ...with sensor is about 130k without sensor is about 60k ...the same thing with the front bumpers. The side mirrow casing with led indicator is 10k with the whole mirror setting is 30k ....the full windscreen is 20k I. Talking from experience |
