Do u mean soyinka? Soyinka can talk but he cannot pilot even an okada or Keke Napep . Certainly not the Nigerian ship.

anonimi: Are you sure Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna & co were executed "promptly" by Aguiyi-Ironsi huh
You may wish to check your historical facts again and make necessary amends.
You obviously don't understand what he was trying to say. Long winding sentences are confusing so he confused you. It was his fault.

oubi: MYOPIC!! Can't the north/ muslims breed something positive. Must they always live in the past

Nawah o!!
You can say they are living in the past because your community has no "real past" to build on. Anyway they are doing something positive in your state with new baby factories opened every month. Perhaps you should go and get employment there impregnating those poor "imprisoned" young girls.

Osc: Did d govt carryout HIV test on all beneficairies? cos i can see innocent ones becoming victims and die as a result of free wife and husband
Yes all of them have HIV tests and those found positive are referred for treatment and supported by the government. The mass wedding has HIV counseling and testing as a spin off. We welcome it.

yibomustgo: Well...... GEJ said he should not be blamed because he wasn't voted in to solve the problems that have been happening since the 60s. GEJ doesn't think he should be blamed for anything because they happened under the watchful eyes of other Head of States and Presidents.
Really unbelievable ! But that's exactly what him and his sycophants are saying. angry

If Jonathan truly believes that he has nothing to improve on , then we are doomed. angry.

I wonder who wrote this reply for him.

Miner13: A society that lacked the presence of a visionary leader will always have her figure drawn to the pit under the disguise of re-building.
We practice a government that is not in support of continuity and somebody is rising from somewhere to organise *MASS WEDDING*
HMMMMMM!!!
What will these sets new of couples feed on afterwards.
The glorious outcome of this will be the breeding of an environment with *nuisance, deadly gangsters, political bodyguides et al*.
You are mistaken. Kwankwaso and Fashola are the most organized governors in the country. For Kwankwaso the family unit is the basis of development and his human development molecule is the family. Please read more widely and keep a check on what is going on in kano. You will be surprised. You will also be delighted if you love development from anywhere in Nigeria and you may commit suicide if you believed kano should not develop- because it is developing under Kwankwaso's plans which include strengthening of the family unit.

You may have to be an inmate to vote for him.

Toaskarity: I don't actuallly know who is more desperate for power? Is it this group of ppl standing or the president whose ppl oil land feeds these greedy corrupt lunatic human beings on that picrure?
I smell (desperation) all over tinubu, buhari, okorcha and the monkey obasanjo!!
Btwn we all know why !
Obj has been rejected by th e society for his animal behavior like beating up his many wives and having sex with his son's wife.
Okorocha so desperate to be in a fedral office yet have nothing to show as jst a state govt.
Tinubu the ugly king of yorubaland atleast nothing wrong expanding his kingdom to fedra level
Buhari the greedy desperate mohammed..if he really want a second chance, why not start with ur own state. Go thethere and be a governor then do the miracle in ur own state afterall they love u so much that they kill youth corpers because you didnt win election.
You sound more desperate but your tears will not help. GEJ has had it and he may end up in jail. We are glad to see the end of PDP impunity. Don't cry for now , time for your weeping is coming for you thugs and your criminal masters. You ain't seen nothing yet!
You shameless jobbers keep trying to shift the focus of threads to useless issues. Keep it up, readers see through your antics.

For me, the bottom line is that, the unconscionable level of unremitted funds to the Federal Government and the underlying corrupt and possible fraud involved, has been exposed by Sanusi. Even Iweala confirms that NNPC alone has at least $10BILLION unremitted!!! These facts cannot be changed no matter how hard you try to introduce tribalism into the matter. Many fools do not understand that the thieves hail for the North, South, East, and West.

We must demand accountability from all government agencies and we now know that GEJ's way of dealing with this problem is to form another committee or task force. We know how successful his task forces and committees have been in the past. SMH
1000 likes for your clear and truthful statement. Thugs like Taharqa and Ngwakwe are drowning men along with the Reterdeen's corruption gang and they will clutch at the flimsiest straw. Wishing them safe journey to Otueke. While their dumb Oga is being tried and jailed.

DerideGull: Yes, GEJ surrounded himself with inherent thieves and moronic dingbats such as Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who just proved his incompetence and buffoonery are beyond redemption.
No he means the grumpy old man Edwin Clark, the psychedelic jet and grass loving Pastor Ayo Eritejafor and the psychotic criminal Asari Dokubo.

If he wants to say things that he doesn't mean , he should please not say them publically. we want to trust our president as an honorable and serious person and not a joker who fibs in public.

duni04: I'm not a GEJ adherent but this idea of digging up old newspaper clippings to discredit somebody is just lame. The guy was answering questions from reporters, and not testifying before a court or the senate. You can't equate someone changing his mind about his political ambitions to treachery or dishonesty, its just lame. While campaigning for president, George W. Bush Snr famously promised not to increase taxes and did immediately he got in. Obama promised to close the guantanemo bay while campaigning in 2008, its still open today. As long as Jonathan's statement was not made before a court of law or the senate, like in the case of Bill Clinton who lied to a US grand jury about his affair with Monica lewinsky, nobody can accuse Jonathan of anything. He's a human being, he has the right to change his mind as he deems fit.
The promises (not oath) those people you mentioned made and broke affected their ranking and their honor and that is why you can quote the statements as documented facts.
If a man cannot be trusted unless he is on oath in a court of law, I woudn't want him to be the president of my country - not again.

theoctopus: These people are animals. They insult GEJ everyday, yet GEJ will never even come close to doing this. The man is so humble, he doesn't even reply his critics many times. Yet they are trying to paint him bad. But their smear will not stick. Instead, it will continue to backfire on them and they will keep fighting themselves
You have lost contact with reality.

I see that the moratorium is just to cover the Christmas period before you return the licences to the kidnappers, your brothers.

Ngwakwe: No, No No. Never for Oduduwa Republic.
The conference should ensure it abolishes Indiginization Policy and replaces it with State of Origin.
It should make provision for permanent transfer of inheritance.
Land use act should be abolished.
Equality of all Nigerians should be protected by law.
Merit define as higher grade in test /examination, possession of superior skill(s), higher Intelligent Quotient, necessary qualifications (ability to do the job not necessarily or limited to paper qualifications), popularity and influence for democratise post, integrity and incorruptible antecedents etc should be made a standard for reward while quota systems should be abolished.
Maximum Punishment should be instituted for corrupt public officers to discourage corruption.
All Nigerians resident in Nigeria having private foreign accounts should be forced or encouraged to invest them in Nigeria .
Families should be responsible for inculcating values and morals in their wards and liable for punishment from assault, crime or any law broken by their minors.
Nigeria must work again.
Good. And;
1. land should be classified as a resource with graded taxation for land use depending on state of origin. For example for use of land in Kano( market stores, farmland, housing, shops, hotels) or Kaduna the tax/rent payable by some one from Akwa Ibom or Bayelsa state will be commisurate to the state per capita proportion.

2. The states that contributed land to the making of FCT i.e. Niger, Kaduna, Nassarawa and Kogi will be compensated and will continue to be paid rent annually by the FGN. Property tax in the FCT will also vary with state of origin.

3. The same formula will be used in educational institution ownership and admission of students from other states and taxation for traders and business persons, agriculturalists, hoteliers etc.
4. There will also be differential taxation for the movement of food and animals to some states.
I am actually writing a paper on this and I struggle to be a rep at the conference. We have to make it beneficial to all.

tokunboh: In 2015, we'd have a repeat of what happened in 2003 whereby PDP would control everything. I see GEJ granting the wishes of South West PDP which is to win the election at all cost. That was their main grouse with GEJ in the first place. The opposition has a lot to lose. The number of opposition governors and federal legislator will reduce drastically by 2015. PDP will always have the majority, in the coming weeks; expect some reps to decamp to the PDP. Mark my words, you heard it here first smiley
o

@Tokunboh
Are you still on the ship's deck. From your post I know you have not been rolled out onto Nigerian soil yet. You will soon know.

Mr. president you have been damaged beyond repairs. Nothing will stop you from defeat at election in 2015 ( assuming that you "win" the primaries in your beliguered and dwindling party. ) what would have saved you was good governance and not a purposeless national conference .but it's too late. You are on your way home to otueke.

How does another letter from another corrupt woman make Jonathan a good far sighted, intelligent, altruistic, nationalist Towering statesman like Mandela to us? The three of them OBJ , GEJ and Iyabo are self serving evil and tyrannical people who do not give a damn about the Nigerian nation. But we should not lose focus, the evil on the throne right now is Jona and he must go; he must go straight to prison.

fctguy: happy birthday and sai buhari but am very disappointed in his policy of islamising nigeria (mind you am a muslim), its very wrong and unpatriotic. nigeria is bigger than any individual and its sovereignty should be respected by all.
at this age, general should play politics from behind the curtains, he should leave the stage for younger politicians.
happy birthday
In leadership quality is more important than age. About islamizing Nigeria , you know very well this is just enemy talk. Nobody can do that. Not even a military president.
