One of the questions that theists easily throw at people who show skepticism or disbelief in Gods or afterlife is "What is the meaning of life? what is the purpose of life if we do not have an afterlife?"

Somehow i find this question to be shallow because one must first make a logical leap of assuming that "meaning and purpose" are inherent universal qualities before basing such question on that premise.

The argument can be summarized this way;

Life is limited
there is suffering in life
life ends eventually, therefore, what is the meaning and purpose of it all?

We could explore this question on this thread too. But however, i am returning the favor to theists who ask this question.

I will assume there is a heaven, i will assume for this premise there is an afterlife, we need not argue over that for this thread.

What exactly is the meaning of an eternal life in heaven? Demonstrate its meaningfulness and how it is derived?

What is the purpose of a life without end? Demonstrate this purpose and how it is derived?

First and foremost. Is there heaven? Is there anything like eternal life? Let's start from there.

Well. I was told God, i mean Jesus, created the world and created Man in his image and likeness. But i looked around what i saw didn't seem so. For, how can God create an earth this painful to live in. Why all this sickness, sorrow, hunger, fear of uncertainties and then death which will send me to hellfire?

How can Man be like God is if man is this wicked to a fellow man?

What is the essence of life if we are all gonna die anyways? Why God create Man? I was angry with God, very angry why he'd create me and send me down here without asking if i wanted to come.

He knew that no man can escape sin, i found it very wicked of him to bring people here to suffer and proceed to Hell. Why is the need?

So, since they said the Bible is the word of God, I figured He must have put some answers in there, so i began to read it earnestly. Book by Book. Character by Character. Event by Event, then i found it in Isaiah.

And, i discovered why things are the way they are now, for from the beginning it was not so.

The Answer is in the Bible. You don't have to believe what it says, but it holds the answers. When i saw it, i stopped searching and began asking for my personal purpose. What is my purpose on earth? was my quest.

Why am i here? I found it too. Oh, this is not in the Bible, this is personal. sitting with Him. Opening up to Him, asking questions based on what i saw in the Bible. Asking Him to show me, and He did.

Now i know what life is, what Love is and where i will be when i do what.

It is hard being where she is in life right now. Shiloh is not doing doing it for her anymore. The last one was probably her tenth year there and she is not getting what she wanted. No husband is coming. Even all her initial good Christian act here has not paid off. None of her fellow Christian males thought it was good enough for them. I don't blame them though. There is always a miasma of toxicity that so surrounds her even when she tries to pretend to be good. Most of them will choose an atheist lady here before they will deign to give her a once over. Life is generally frustrating for her. So she comes online every time to remind herself she has one nonexistent mansion somewhere. Surely there's an afterlife where things are better. That's what she tells herself.

So anytime she sees any religion or argument that jeopardizes her free mansion, she loses it. She starts cursing. She is well aware that the best things in life have eluded her and will keep doing so owing to her attitude. So she curses and curses and hopes others will fall to her station so she can have company. Misery loves company.

Guys try to understand her. Pity her. All her lashing out is just a cry for help.
