"Why Would President Buhari Sticks To These People? 1. Abba Kyari, 2. Abdurrahman Dambazo, 3. Col. Hameed Ali, 4. Babachir Lawan, 5. Salomon Dalong, 6. Ameachi Rotimi, 7. Gen. Y. Buratai, 8. Raji Fashola, 9. Adeosu Kemi, 10. Ibrahim Magu, 11. Gen. Baba Gana Monguno, 12. Manman Daura. If Buhari would remove these people out of his government, where is the government? They slanderred these people with various allegations without concrete evidences. Let us take them one after the other & examine their allege crimes. 1. Abba Kyari could be number one most hateful person in Nigeria if not 2nd after Mallory (Mallory of Hardley Chase) i.e. Manman Daura. His crimes: 1. no secrets are going out of Villa; 2. You have to go through him first before seeing the president; 3. He accept no bribes to push forward files, secured appointments or lobby for contracts. Therefore, the only way to silence him is to slanderred a corruption charges of $500 million against him. They refused to partition the allege givers MTN to EFCC. ICPC, DSS or Police if Kyari could not be reach. But rather resorted to campaign of calumny in SR & PT against him. 2. General Abdurrahman Dambazo's crimes are many. 1. The internal security is secured. Arms proliferation is secured through strict vigilance of Immigration Service. Civil Service Corps intensify actions on bursting oil pipe vandalisers. To silence him too, corruption charges was launched against him to smear his image. Sometimes back, over zealous security officer went in public to shine Dambazo's shoe. The social media Judges almost hack out life out of Dambazo. Then I said two things. Did he force him? No! Then even me someone decided to dignify my bata with that gesture, I will stretch all the legs. Is that enough to relief one of his duties? 3. *Col. Hameed Ali* His numerous crimes: cleaning Customs Service of bad eggs, strict aligning with the CBN policies of banning some items which Nigeria banned it importing including rice, securing the country of arm proliferation. Modern Customs Service is a government economic & security tool of generating revenue, achieving economic goals & fighting of security threat. Hameed Ali understood these intricacies. If he remain the helmsman of Customs, compromise would never be achieve because he is like a father like a son. So a dreadful campaign must be launche against him to wreck his ship. They cannot place a corruption charges against him because even their conscious won't accept that. They helplessly put it forward that we just want him down. 4. *Babachir Lawan*. This secretary to the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unlike Chief Nnamani, he never sleep on duty. He handled the government secrets like his family secrets. He is no way near job scandal, contracts awards & figures inflation. How comes a whole federal Government Secretary fall into only #270 million grass cutting corruption saga? only his adversaries can explain that. If its factual that the whole SFG is involve in only #270 million corruption saga, it means there is no corruption in this government. I am expecting something bigger like #270 billion. Please give me better charges. Don't even bother Nigerians, he has no immunity. 5. *Salomon Dalong*. Why did they want the head of this Barrister? Because he insisted that corruption must be eradicated from sports ministry. Rules and regulations must be followed. Monies release for contracts must be spent on those contracts. That is all. Don't go further. If our bad outing during olympics game was their yardstick, during Jonathan, Nigeria didn't come back with even soap bar talkless of iron bar. 6. *Chief Rotimi*: This man sincerely required no any distractions. What are on his head are enough to send one into permanent comma. He has no immunity too. Approach the anti-corruption agencies with your proves of his corruption dealings & nail him for good otherwise claim that Patience Jonathan is not corrupt. 7. *General Yusuf Buratai* is the stabilizer of the modern Nigeria after Generals Ihejirika & Minima have polarized the army & compromise it. His crimes: He has decimated BHT, IMN, IPOP, NDA, tribal warlords, & cattle rustlers. It was proving that he has two houses at Dubai, but lucky enough for him, he has filled them as part of his assets in his assets declaration form. How he got those much assets, he said it was family savings. *My take*: if he is maintaining law & order & it has not contradict Nigeria's law, he is clean. 7. *Raji Fashola*: By all indication Raji has the ears of Mr President. He gave him 3 important ministries base on trust. He too like others, they peddle him with corruption allegation charges. It so far remain allegation until they approach court or anti-corruption agencies with evidences. He too likes Rotimi Ameachi, need no any distractions. 9. *Kemi Adeosu*. If they would have the opportunity, they will skin this Madam alive. Because of their ignorance of who is responsible of formulating economic policies of the government, they left Emefele & hook the neck of this woman that looks like dada. She only aligned with CBN policies to realise proper synergies between CBN policies and the release of cash by the ministry of finance. This woman too, weed out over 40 thousand ghosts workers in federal government payroll. She insisted that agencies & MDGs must work with TSA. She cooperate with CBN to ensure BVN is part of the country's financial system. She refused to be approving unconstitutional allowances to revenue generating agencies. These are her crimes except the one's I don't mention. They just want her out because of those things. Nothing more. 10. *Ibrahim Magu* is not a talkative like his predecessor Ribadu. He always baptist them if they enter his net. Most of them confess to their crimes if he show them the mountains of evidences he gathers about them which they don't know. Everyone that comes out of his solitary confinement, come out totally neutralize. Ask Metuh, Shekarau, Bafarawa e.t.c. Do I need to stress why they want him out? O.k.! Why not people like Farida Waziri or Lamurde to come back & lead again. That would have been wonderful? Why? I don't know. Case close!!@ |
The interbank lending rates which is the rate at which banks lend amongst themselves soared to an all time high of 128 per cent from 70 per cent last week Friday after banks funded their accounts to participate in a currency forward, even as the value of the naira gained strength at the parallel market. The naira which sold around N460 to the dollar at the weekend closed yesterday stronger at N455, although bureau de change operators said the value had reached around N440 during the day. The naira also closed stronger at the interbank market on the back of interventions by the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) and a cash crunch which hit the financial system. Overnight interbank rate soared to a record high of 128 per cent yesterday on naira cash shortages having opened the day at 100 per cent, traders said. The money market had ended on Friday with no deals as commercial lenders held onto naira to be able to participate in the auction and overnight rate had closed Friday around 70 per cent from 14 per cent which it was on Thursday. At the interbank market, the naira sold at N305.5 to the dollar, the highest in the last two months. Traders said the apex bank, which has been selling dollars regularly to prop up the currency, sold around $1.5 million towards the close of trade yesterday after the market was open for nearly four hours with no deals. Traders said the CBN held a dollar forward auction last week Friday to clear a backlog of demand from airlines, manufacturers and other companies, as the country’s currency crisis deepened. Result of the auction was yet to be published http://leadership.ng/business/555014/interbank-rates-soar-as-naira-firms-at-parallel-market

Some businessmen in Lagos on Thursday expressed hope that the economy would soon rebound as the Nigerian currency continues to appreciate in all the major segments of the forex market. In separate interviews with newsmen in Lagos, they called on their fellow businessmen to exercise patience and do all it could to salvage the Naira. Mr Uche Mba, a motorcycle spare-parts dealer noted that the appreciation of the Naira at the forex market was gradually breeding calm in the economy. According to him, the development will sooner than later lead to price stability of goods and services. Mr Obi Edwards, an importer of gas cylinders said that the liquidity challenge in sourcing forex was already reducing as most Bureau De Change (BDC) operators were selling forex. Edwards expressed the hope that if the situation continued unabated, it would reduce the fluctuation in the prices of goods and services. Mrs Stella Shogunle, a dealer in female handbags, said that it was good news that the Naira had continued to appreciate at the forex market for about three weeks. She called for patriotism from all Nigerians to ensure that currency speculators do not thwart the wind of progress in the forex market. The Naira on Thursday continued to hedge against the dollar in all the major segments of the forex market. At the parallel market, the Naira closed at N460 to the dollar, from N468 it posted on Wednesday, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro traded at N560 and N510 respectively. About 1, 700 BDCs in Lagos and Abuja sold dollar at N380, controlled rate, while the Pound Sterling and the Euro exchanged at N558 and 500, respectively. The Naira closed at N304.50 at the official interbank market, maintaining same rate as at Wednesday. Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, President, Association of Bureau De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON) called on all genuine forex buyers to purchase it from its members at the official price. Gwadabe called on currency hoarders to sell the forex at their disposal as the naira was steadily on its way to full recovery. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/10/businessmen-hopeful-naira-appreciates/ |

President Muhammadu Buhari has requested the Senate to consider and confirm the nominations of two judges as Justices of the Supreme Court. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, read the letter conveying the request after the Senate returned from closed-door session on Tuesday. The nominated judges are Sidi Bage, Nasarawa State, North Central; and Paul Jauro, Taraba State, North East. In the letter read by Mr. Saraki, Mr. Buhari said his request followed Section 231(2) of the Constitution of Nigeria, as amended. The President sought expeditious attention of the Senate, Mr. Saraki read. Mr. Jauro, who was born on June 26, 1954, became judge of the High Court in 1998. Ten years afterwards, he was appointed Justice of the Court Appeal. Mr. Bage, born on June 22, 1956, became Federal High Court Judge in 1992 before his appointment as Justice of the Court of Appeal in 2000. The two Judges had been recommended for appointment as Justices of the Supreme Court by the National Judicial Council. Their nominations came amid a clampdown on allegedly corrupt judges in the High, Appeal and the Supreme Courts, by the State Security Service.
