nothingspoil70:As far as I'm concerned, Charlie Kirk's murder is as American as they come, and the whole society has to take the blame. How any culture can think it is normal to allow children, especially male children, grow up with guns like it is second nature, has a seroius inherent sickness. Just imagine with how annoying and stressful Nigeria is, our kids had access to guns and weapons of death like it was gala. We are seeing just a bit of that playing out in the North. Anyway, I feel sorry for the family, turning in ones child is heart wrenching, but commendable in this case. |
IamAsiri:Lol, of all the impossible examples you could use from the bible to justify denying the past it is Paul that described himself as the "Chief of sinners" to Timothy that you used A whole Paul that wrote more than a quarter of the NT is the person you want to rely on that people should not acknowledge their past or sins, which he harped about over and over again shey. Paul that publicly did restitution with Onesimus! Maybe next you will say David never publicly paid penance or acknowledged his sins either, since you know bible accurately. Sha sha, by their fruits you shall know them and yours is giving me Pharisee and publican vibes. "Teacher, teacher ooo abi na lecturer be your name ...." ![]() |
SeeWahala:Lol so some modes of transportation are in His control and some are not shey. It is not a big deal, but like I said if you fail to appreciate irony in somethings life in general might leave you speechless with its outcomes. |
IamAsiri:"Teacher, teacher abi na lecturer be your name..", that Fela song suites you. If she wasn't what you claim would the advice not first have started with her admitting first what she did and then telling youths not to copy. Even if you want to use bible, those who "erred" would first admit what they did before advising someone not to do so, that is where being genuine comes in. But it seems you are probably cut from the same cloth sha. |
IamAsiri:Because she had sex on national tv before she was married. She was also pregnant before she was married if I recollect correctly. |
"Jesus take the wheel" dies in a plane crash...this life sef, if you can't appreciate irony I wonder what is left. |
Why this Bot keeps taking down comments that have been proven factual in a court of law bemuses me. Seun, please call this your bot that likes to play favourites to order. Currently Nairaland is no better than Emperor Trump's America. |
A poor example to use. PSG beat practically every top English team and most of Europe last year, does that make the French league better than the EPL?? The strength of a league should be measured by how competitive it is and the unpredictability, the EPL remains the second top prize in World club football, with only the CL being marginally better. |
Abeg in this era of transgender and terrorism, please let our women be wrapped so we know they are women biko. |
malali:It will shock you. Shey it was while he was campaigning last year that he and another commentator on radio called Kamala Harris husband "a crap Jew". |
The sensible ones among us warned them. Yes the "Woke" crowd and the radical left do too much, but does it mean you need to put the worst (and most hypocritical) of you in power and China should now become a more enviable society than the US?? Anyway, like I've said before, it's history and the natural order of things must be appeased. The American dominance of the World is coming to an end and Trump was always destined to be the Harbinger of the fall of the empire. It's funny how a generation of young strong able people allow old people who have a few years left in this world destroy their destiny, especially after Trump, who was once a democrat himself, rocked his life and youth to the max in a "free America" as all the evidence shows. |

illicit: Igbenedion is 90 or so, he's old enough to be his grandfather sef. |
ricson11:Even me that does not like the way the man has started, sees absolutely nothing wrong with this, as Igbinedion is too old for anyone to be doing gragra for. Bloggers as usual pretending like they fell from heaven and don't understand context, all for the sake of cheap views. |
Are they still reporting this man Even me wey no be woman don see reports of this man tire |
LegendHero:Imagine a professor coming up with such balderdash, knowing the impact his statement could make if people took him seriously...all because he wants to score cheap political points, not once caring or considering what happens to the masses.....and this is someone who more than enjoyed this country in his own youth!! |
nedu666:Don't mind him, a typical Arab woman would only consider a blackman when he is far above her class (and typical arab women are not the educated ones that school abroad). |
ibedun:Read between the lines. He's being "reassigned" because corruption was uncovered by a newspaper, who probably got their information from a government insider and Adama wants to ensure this does not happen again by covering his tracks and putting someone loyal. While it is his prerogative to choose whoever he wants as Auditor-General, the fact remains why is he not more bothered about uncovering more about those who have re-looted? Once I saw the guy was being "re-assigned" and not removed initially I could see clearly the trick politicians use anytime there is someone that knows too much. |
DropsMic:You are right my brother, sometimes one needs to wonder if we are the only Race in the world, with our unique behaviour that never fails to disappoint ....really really sad when one remembers what people did to put this man in power |
PulaPower:When you open your own business you can allow Nigerian Factor to swallow it and then be calling village people and the devil, like most failed Nigerian businessman do |
kenben:Useni's family themselves will struggle to take ownership of that property as it was clearly proceeds from corruption. That was why he had the underhand agreement with Ozekhome to give it to the latter as he knew he'd struggle to prove he bought it with legal proceeds from his career as a military officer. The UK will seize the property eventually, just like they did Ibori's proceeds of crime. |
Olaide1295:So many "all of a sudden billionaires" have been created this way by the military (and the newly minted political class). Some were tailors, some were drivers, some were messenger and account officers....dig deeply and I am sure some were house boys and housegirls sef....then they open foundations and make noise about how hard work and God got them to where they were, and a gullible public just swallows it hook line and sinker. Like one said on here before, Nigeria is just a huge crime scene. |
ednut1:I dislike that title SAN with an intense passion....if people only knew the deals they cut and what most of them do to get that title..... honestly most would treat it with the ignominy it deserves if they knew. |
naptu2:Its really annoying to read how thorough and brilliant these UK judges are when they deal with cases of corruption....why oh why can't we have judges that are fortright and brilliant like this in this country and don't allow technicalities to ensure justice is never served. Compare this sound judgement with the judges that have started giving Emefiele back his loot on unbelievable mathematics. If this was Nigeria, the judge, despite knowing the Shani sounds middle belt, the cousin is Igbo and the son is Yoruba, would allow this case to fly, exactly like that!! As for Ozekhome, I have always known he was a criminal and all his pro democracy balderdash was for show. Oya now, go and enjoy your house in London you serial pretender. Well done Judge, well done. |
Difrent:I'm not sure how going to see one of the top traditional rulers makes him a muslim. With the way he is treating Ooni he probably felt the Sultan is the only one on his level. |
Difrent:He is not a muslim, he is a Christian and was an elder in his church in Canada. Personally, I do not know why he needs that statue there. |
aribisala0:So I should take the marketers words as it is...the same people that filled there tanks N198 and sold for N1000 while listening to a broadcast on the road. The same people that have engaged in smuggling these tankers for decades to the same Togo and Benin when fuel was sold below subsidy. The same people that engineered various price increases by faking scarcity anytime they wanted the margin to increase. If you were born yesterday and have absolutely no idea of the antecedents of these people and how corrupt and broken our petroleum sector is then live in your pretentious bubble and continue fighting the only man who decided to do things differently and make money from the sector in an honest way, like normal human beings do all around the world. |
These petroleum marketers are not being honest and have not been honest from day one. Just like Mele Kyari's NNPC that once claimed they had tested Dangote's fuel and it was inferior to their blended conncoction, one needs to read between the lines and see what is happening. Clearly enough people won't be happy until they sabotage this refinery and they can go back to making money the easy way. |
Every Tom , Dick and Harry is building multi storey structures in Lagos which actually makes sense seeing the amount of people we have and the limited land....however Lagos State government must be awake to their duties to regulate as our councils and local governments are utter failures (like the rest of the country). Please, Lagos State, you need to work and show you are a leader before you allow the typical Nigerian greed to kill more and more innocent souls. |
