I kept quiet before and was supporting the chairman.....but this new act shows he is a weak and jobless fellow!! Is he the chairman of only indigenes or everybody in Ifo local government?! What a clown, he should have never started something he could not finish. Congratulations Samuel Chukwuemeka, you have made all Nigerians proud, don't mind these unserious politicians and separatists trying to share the limelight with you. |
bamitinn:Lol, please take your advice you disrespectful child....or maybe you respond only to images (watch the first 2 mins of the video then). |
sunky97:It's ok that he goes to Deeperlife but his school should be used to identify him for this achievement and not his church. |
Mavor: Energymall is an ok middleman that a few people have used on here with little to no complaints. There was a period I spoke with him a few times on some of his products (lifepo batteries ) he advertises and almost always he didn't have the product in stock. He can't be compared with Fouani or Sygnite. As for the batteries, I must admit I only clicked on one or 2 of your links. I can see the description on the links and can say I'd take a Valto battery over all of them (though I've not reviewed the Itel though). |
Mavor:Not used Deye batteries before but everything Deye seems to be fine so I'd say it's ok since you are buying from fouani. |
Mavor:This one. |
Mavor:I think it's clear that you want a big name, so I think you should stick with Fouani over Syngite as there deals are better. There was one you wanted to get earlier from them, which I told you was Lithium ion. I had to go over the spec sheet again recently when another friend made an enquiry and after checking directly on Growatts international website and downloading their manual, it actually states the battery is LFP. So you can go for that one if you prefer and I apologise for getting it wrong, even though everywhere online actually defines the battery as simply Lithium ion. |
OfoIgbo:When you will not learn basic history, either taught or from the bible, why won't you think somebody's lineage that dates back to at least 4000 years or so can all be from the same tribe and 100% pure. Just like one deluded fellow woke up one day to tell us that Jesus hates poverty, you might also wake up to say he was 100% genetically Jewish (i.e. no "foreign" blood in his known lineage). |
KudozInteriors:God bless you too and I really hope this is all sorted out amicably and that most of us are wrong, at least for this country's sake!! |
KudozInteriors:It's something you can do yourself, while opening the battery would involve you needing someone's help like I mentioned earlier. I think you should take @fuckboys deal, you clearly don't need a new one, but something independent that is working. Also, once trust has been breached like this, it always good to be able to ascertain things independently yourself, in case you ever have questions later on. Its a good tool. I have bought 3 coulometers in the past (all from AliExpress) and will still buy another one. |
Juror:Here is the sales manager's number attached (don't want to get banned). He would unlikely be involved in any coverup, if there is one.
|
KudozInteriors:What he is saying is that you should still do a capacity test, what we recommended earlier to you when you were advised to get the shunt. Charge it fully up and drain it to determine the capacity ( the only other way, beside opening it to be sure it's really a 5kwh battery). He's suggesting it might just be a software issue (wrong parameters were input). To be certain you will need something independent to measure usage or do it yourself manually (which I would not recommend in this case). |
KudozInteriors:I don't think you should allow that installer near the battery again till you can rule him out as being the mastermind of this fraud. If I were you, since the warranty seal has already been broken, I would open it up to see what cells are inside. Dam5reey has already done this before, so the shortest way is to contact him or any other person not connected to this scenario to open it up so you can see for yourself. I'd say it's almost 90% certain that it is a 2.5kwh and not some glitch in the software. However only opening it up will determine for sure, and one thing we are 100% sure of is someone has already opened it after you bought it, which is why the seal is broken. Once you are certain of the cells in it, you would then know whether to proceed with the local option of police or my preferable option would be you do a youtube video casting out Sako Nigeria as a den of robbers, which would force Sako China to think twice and probably compensate you. Again that's if it's Sako's fault and not your installer (for now he is the only person who clearly doesn't have a convincing story in this whole scenario). |
eghos12:You blame the company but how does an installer miss this twice. I am talking about when he first installed it and later disconnected it when it was sent back to Sako?! This is definitely not a mixup and someone is doing this on purpose. |
CuteMaro:He mentioned that he sent it back to Sako for testing which would explain the seal being broken. However they should have replaced it and the fact he sent it back to them and they said all is fine without noticing the sticker and the BMS are saying different things seems to indicate that Sako is in on this crime, thats if the installer actually sent it back to them. @KudozInteriors The price you paid cannot justify 2.5kw, somebody is criminally taking advantage. Please confirm you have the receipt. |
KudozInteriors:Wow, speechless and this is the first thing your installer should have noticed if he isn't in on this. Sorry, please confirm, are you a lady? Please also confirm the price you paid. |
HeavenlyBang:Good spot. Though I did not think their smaller batteries come in this build. Please KudozInteriors confirm to us all what your installer said before buying the battery and the price you bought it for. Please as much info as possible so we can be sure who the culprit is. |
KudozInteriors:Yes it does, and why we are advising you to get an independent meter is to be sure that you can trust the information from the battery. For now, follow the advice Juror gave, but until you get the independent meter, you can try fully charging it and running your load, ignoring what the inverter says and see if it is satisfactory. Also to estimate your real load, the 2nd pic can be used to do so (thats if the battery is not charging and you are running the inverter): Voltage * Amps= real load (when running directly from battery and solar is off). You can then have an idea of the true power of your appliances till you get the independent meter. |
SolomonGrundy:I blame the sales manager who use to be on this thread. When people started stating they were having issues on this thread, instead of him to concentrate on customer service, he was busy dropping deal after deal and then abandoned the thread. Typical naija businessman, treating your customers like they are dispensable and not taking their issues seriously. Underestimating word of mouth. One of the reasons why Nigerians struggle to create brand loyalty. Since I have been monitoring this thread, their is no brand someone has not had one negative thing to say about, but at least when you are starting off, try and take customer issues seriously to create that initial trust. Oh well, it's their Chinese partners I pity. |
KudozInteriors:For your issue and if you use it properly, the one way will serve perfectly. However as can be seen from Iinnov8's post, the other build is far superior and has more features you could need later on, especially if you don't have a big brand inverter. |
SolomonGrundy:I use the 10kw version, yet to have one complaint. But it was bought in early December and noticed most of the complaints on here started later sha. I wouldn't recommend their inverter at all, never used it but never heard anything positive about it either. |
Iinnov8:My bad, and to think I always wondered what your name meant...now it makes perfect sense. |
KudozInteriors:It does. It will show you capacity and remaining Ah. Use the menu button to get there it will show it you. Don't be afraid to press those buttons on the battery as you can't really change any setting from using the buttons. However, like I said before do not fully depend on anything the battery tells you. Get something independent to confirm it's capacity. |
KudozInteriors: The attached picture is usually the cheapest and a quite reliable shunt. You can also search Jiji and Konga to get better prices by using search words like "shunt", "coulometer", "energy meter" and "coulomb". However, note that the above can only properly measure energy going one way (either charging, or discharging). If you want one that can measure energy going both ways (at the same time) you need to use the kind that clearly states so, like the type Dam5reey1 uses in his videos. Linnov8 sell that I believe.
|
KudozInteriors:The advice you were given by Dam5reey1 is the best so far. Try and get an external shunt or coulometer to independently measure what is actually leaving your battery (and coming into it for some). This will for once and for all clear up the capacity issue and give you a stronger leg to stand on if you need to argue with Sako that their battery is not meeting expectation. This will solve a lot of issues some people are having here as trusting some inverters and even some BMSs is not a good way to monitor the ability of a battery or solar setup. |
fuckboys:The size of the battery is extremely unlikely to be the reason why it's tripping. To make it crystal clear, the battery could be causing it to trip but it's not due to the capacity, as the switch you are talking about likely only adjusts the charging current or so. Anyway I think all the issues you are having might be caused by more than one variable ....so I suggest that instead of dropping different posts, you should sit down and make a video that catches all the issues you've described. Post it on Tiktok or preferably Youtube and drop the link here. Also in the posts I've seen from you, you've said little to nothing about the battery or its voltage (which to me is what you should be more concerned of as it the most important and expensive part of your setup). I think in an old post you mentioned you had a coulometer or something. Connect it up as instantly that would allow us to know if your BMS is what's cutting off charge and so on. |
Its not rocket science to see that this man was killed unlawfully. |
gentlesmithugo:You are right, despite so many rags to riches stories from a lot of black and particularly African billionaires, they cannot do this. The sad thing is that if they can only stop doing the opposite, which is actively supporting policies that make the masses poorer and oppressing people everywhere, this alone would be enough and be of tremendous help. |
omotoda: Lol, you are aware the person you are quoting is the same person that does the builds ![]() But I do agree with you, for now I would rather go for his openly DIY cells rather than Haisic, thats if he can maintain that price. |
zero8zero:Honestly one needs to wonder what kind of selfish people inhabit this country. For almost 8 years Buhari's economic policies protected these people and ensured they had support, only for them to also "ensure" they took the price of rice to a high of 100k. Yes we know insecurity has affected them but what about all the farmers in the Southern part of the country? I am not talking about rice alone but all food prices that keep skyrocketing for locally available items. Or does Boko Haram and dollar also make local fresh fish more expensive? This government needs to be serious and realise that food should not be used to make political points. If food is affordable, life will be bearable for the masses and inflation will also calm down a bit. If farmers like, let them farm, whether they do or not, Nigerians must eat. That should be the government's priority, not stifling competition for the sake of a few set of people. |
Dam5reey1:Thanks chief. How long is the warranty they are offering? |
