That 25% has no any use in Nigeria of today it's just there but has no any use because of that majority of votes cast that is there. Except the constitution is amended and majority of votes cast is deleted. Anytime you want to contest any political office make sure you have the majority of valid votes cast

I worked as APO I in one of the polling units in Okigwe, Imo state and I can categorically tell you that no Election was conducted in the LGA, and going by my experience, I can tell you no Election held in the state.

This current INEC remains the problem of our democracy.

With what happened, I can tell you that insecurity is one of the rigging mechanism of politicians.

There's a town in Okigwe, that is ravaged by insecurity and the polling units there suddenly moved to the city.

I was posted to this town, but on our way to the polling units, our buses were diverted to the new location and we waited and waited and nothing happened. Not even a lizard showed up.

They carried us back to the collation center.

To my surprise this morning, a result was uploaded on iRev for this my polling unit😂😂😂. With no accreditation recorded.😂😂.

I am from Edo state(Benin City) but based in Lagos with my family. I met this sweet Yoruba angel during the festive period in December 2020, we fell in love and ever since it has been from one sweet level to the other (although we have had misunderstanding sometimes but we usually settle immediately). she is nice, respectful both to my parents and siblings. The issue now is that since the past election, my parents have been advising me against continuing with the relationship. The girl that was once the talk of the family, suddenly everyone has developed a cold feet towards her. Even if they have been trying to hide it whenever she is around, she has started noticing it and have been asking me questions. What even angered my parents the more was how GRV (Gbadebo Rode Vivor) was treated by most Yorubas simply because his mother is Igbo even when the father is Yoruba. My parents are saying since I have interest in politics, I should go and get an Edo girl to marry. But I have always maintained that I wont marry from my tribe and they said if I dont want an Edo girl, I can go and get a lady from anywhere in the SS that they dont want a yoruba as a daughter inlaw.

I am confused right now. I love this girl and dont want to leave her, at the same time I dont want to disobey my parents. This girl even supported and voted GRV. I have tried to plead with them and even sent one of my uncle to go help me talk to them, they are still insisting that if I go ahead with my plans, then I should count them out of my marriage.

Please kindly advise on what I should do at this moment.

Truth be told,
For the seller,if the buyer would resell or use personally should not be your concern,as long as your stated price is complete,you are good to go.
Also like you said you did not inspect the phone,
The buyer did a proper inspection and made all his findings to you,which you knew nothing about as you claimed.
I would also feel very embarrassed to be subjected to a search all because I went for a deal.
I felt you are not just happy he was a reseller and also you took his initial reply too far,
And I also feel since the buyer was happy with the deal and he paid,he should have let the post slide thou,since the post was not a subject of controversy initially.

Lie 1: You claimed your neighbour left me with the phone for an hour, but she left it with me for less than 15mins.

I called her to open the gate at 3:13pm and the first picture I sent you was after she left me with the phone and came back, this was at 3:30PM.

Lie 2: You claimed I told you I was gonna go get it at 7pm, which is another lie. Cos when you asked me, I told you I can't be wire of time but I'd make it latest by 7pm. Maybe a "Use of English" problem from your end.

I deleted the pictures after I sent them to you, if not I believe you would not argue that I'd have uploaded it here.

First of all, if I had known you were a reseller (I advertised this in more than one thread) I would have never agreed to hold the phone solely for you, yesterday nor give you any special treatment, which includes leaving you alone with my naive female neighbour, who you clearly can tell knows very little about phones.

As to the point above, not once did I say or claim that you are getting the original box...which leads to why I started worrying immediately you told me you were holding the phone.


Now, while at work in the afternoon, this said poster, who had told me before that he was only going to come in the evening, around 5ish -7pm, magically sent me a screenshot of what appeared to be my phone around 3pm, showing me a network status locked. I was confused as I did not expect him there. He also started saying things about the original carton and then I knew I had misjudged his intentions.... immediately I called my neighbour and she told me she had left you with the phone all by yourself for almost an hour. I remembered you said you were coming from Ikeja, then I asked her if you carried a bag with you and she confirmed that you did. Immediately I realised that I was dealing with a reseller and told her to be sure you had not switched the phone. She confessed to me she had been busy, trying to sell some bags of rice and left you alone as she thought you had already paid for the phone and you looked trustworthy.


Anyway, once I recovered from my shock, and you sent me one of the many unauthorised pictures you snapped of the phone (including the IMEI numbers) and I was now sure it was my phone , I started dealing with the network locked thing which I had never noticed, seeing as I did not use the phone one day and only tested to make sure everything was working fine.

As expected for a UK used phone bought on a contract, the phone was indeed network locked until the contract is cleared and a network unlock done. I confirmed this later from the person that sent me the phone and sent it to you. You should know this since you are a reseller. You claimed the phone was chipped, but you were there pressing the phone for more than 1 hour snapping pictures but could not see the chip. Also if you wanted to confirm that the phone is truly unlocked, why not just do a factory reset and see if it still works with your sim, which you confirm to everybody that it did. Kindly note the phone was already factory reset before he picked it up.

I thank the poster for adding to my knowledge on iphones and that till now I can still misjudge people. This is a person, that the night before offered to send a non-refundable 10k deposit and I told him no need for that. As for the claim on the original Fendi Paris case, please see. With all, your know how, you could not use simple google lens to confirm!

Today is Rashidi Yekini's 60th birthday. He was born on October 23rd, 1963 and passed away on May 4th, 2012 (he was 48 years old at the time).

Yekini represented Nigeria at 5 African Nations Cup competitions (1984, 1988, 1990, 1992 and 1994), winning one bronze medal, three silver medals and one gold medal. He also represented Nigeria at two World Cups, USA '94 and France '98.

He is the highest goal scorer ever for Nigeria's men's senior national team (the Super/Green Eagles) with 37 goals in total.

Yekini was the highest goal scorer in Portuguese club football in the 1992/1993 season and he was also the highest goal scorer in the Primiera Liga in the 1993/1994 season.

Yekini played for IICC Shooting Stars of Ibadan, with whom he got to the final of the African Champions Cup (now known as the African Champions League) in 1984 (they lost to Zamalek of Egypt). He later played for Abiola Babes (one of the two millionaire clubs in Nigeria at the time) before leaving Nigeria to play professional football.

He played for Africa Sports in the Ivory Coast, Vitoria Setubal in Portugal (with whom he achieved his greatest success), Olympiakos of Greece, Sporting Gijon in Spain and F.C. Zurich in Switzerland before returning to Nigeria.

After returning to Nigeria, he played for Julius Berger and Gateway FC before retiring in 2005.
