raumdeuter:Adeleke family with governors, senators is not godfatherism. One Adeleke after another. That is fine. Just change Adeleke to Tinubu and see if the story won't change. lol Nigerian politics and the political space na cruise. The people who make enemies because of politicians are the people I laugh at the most. |
homesteady:Do you know what makes me sad in all these? You had every chance to just accept that this is not your turf or area of interest and I would have let you off. But lai lai, NLders must prove they know something in an area that they know eff all. Now let me educate you. The IRS Special agent Moss did not bring a complaint. He was the leading witness in BATs case because he is the guy who specializes in money laundering as it involves narcotics. The state was trying to get Akande etc and knew that getting the person who was helping launder money for them would help. That person, the suspect, was BAT. Since, to them, BAT only came in when it was time to launder the money, they got this IRS agent to review his accounts and let them know if he saw anything suspicious. He did. That is why the court paper says he presented an affidavit. Read up on affidavits. The person bringing the complaint or plaintiff is not Agent Moss. That person is the district attorney or DA and his name is Michael J Shepard. Ask anyone with a working knowledge of the US or the law. They'll tell you that it is the DA that is the plaintiff in cases like these. The DA would also have presented a DEA agent as his leading witness in the case of the other guys. The only reason you are not reading so much about that person is because the state could not prove BATs direct involvement in selling the drugs itself. In fact, they could not prove his involvement in terms of laundering. If they did, BAT would have forfeited more than 460K. He would have lost the other 1M as well as done jail time. Stop arguing like some incorrigible troll. Come on, this is 2022. Evidence is attached.

homesteady:I'll usually let people begging for a way out to have it. But not when they have done stronghead for long - no way. If the IRS charges a person to court will it be based on narco or because of money? Stop with the fake humor. You are trapped and I won't allow you fake your way out of it. |
homesteady:My friend, shut up. Is he there because of the narco or because of the money laundering? Why do you think I asked you why your joke was money laundering IndecentStar and not narco-trafficking IndecentStar? |
![]() Highlighted for people at the back ooh.
|
homesteady:I admire your coping mechanism.
|
homesteady:The fact that you keep saying this shows why Larride knew better than to continue with you. And the sad part is, the fact is still being lost on you. Special Agent Moss is an IRS agent. IRS's jurisdiction is money-laundering OF ALL TYPES. Special Agent Moss was brought in because his specialty is in knowing if an account is being used to launder narco money. |
Android17:Still hoping you caught this. |
homesteady:Arguing against court document? Haha. The average Nigerian can't read. |
homesteady:If only you can see that the joke is on you. Why didn't you say maybe he was investigating narcotics related murder? Why narcotics related money laundering or money laundering by pornstars? Please Please Please don't let this point walk past you. |
homesteady:Believe what you want. If I keep going at it, I'll end up defending Buhari which I don't want. You are the one who has the data. You only cannot reconcile that data with USA and the rest of west. I understand your pickle. |
homesteady:You have a penchant for asking questions when answers have been given repeatedly. Was Moss brought in for Narcotics or for money laundering? |
homesteady:You don't understand what you posted. lol |
homesteady:Of course, when losing an argument they switch to former identity. Like every other loser I know. "How persons involved in narcotics trafficking launder money". lol I hope your own post is not lost on you. |
homesteady:If your recollection of events is that I got hooked, you are right bro. The same you who can't explain what should happen differently since the whole world is saddled with it. |
homesteady:Which is why the IRS were brought in to investigate his accounts. What is your point? Did I not say I agreed with you that he is definitely an accomplice but that law enforcement did not prove it in court? |
homesteady:I can't answer yes or no to a stupid question. IRSs jurisdiction includes money laundering. They have no territory in Narcotics which is for the DEA. So the DEA have to be investigating Narcotics trafficking before an IRS agent can be brought in to determine if an account holder was helping to launder narco money. |
homesteady:So what is your own if not assumptions? |
homesteady:Yes a(i) is a DEA function. They are the ones to decide if the unlawful specified activity is narcotics related. |
homesteady:Even after I told you IRS functions like a combo of FIRS+EFCC? |
Segedinho:That is why I said first understand what is being said. America has more debt than the whole of Africa put together. I never told you Buhari never borrowed. I did not even say he never borrowed to make up for salaries. But he is borrowing when the economies of the world are all crippled and a majority of what he borrowed was for infrastructure - not salary. Compare it to someone else who was bragging he had the best economy in Africa but then borrowing to pay majorly salaries. If you don't know the difference please, let me be. I already told you Buhari failed. The only reason we are arguing is about who failed more, I said it is Jonathan. |
homesteady:Even the topic you don't understand you are still doing stronghead in, don't worry. I am not going to put up a defence for Buhari. But the Jonathan nonsense won't fly. |
Segedinho:lol you are simple. Stop throwing words around that you don't understand. Did you read the article you posted or just ran with the headline? If a country claims they have revenue shortfall and then borrow to make up for that shortfall is it the same as borrowing when you are bragging you have the best economy? Between both borrowers which of them had a greater percentage earmarked for infrastructure or salaries and which of the govts did better with the infrastructure? If you have nothing intelligent to say. Find someone else to debate. I am not doing bonanza to reply stupid posts abeg. I hate that I am defending Buhari. |
homesteady:Chai o. My hands don fall. So you don't know the difference between EFCC and NDLEA? So by reading those codes you cannot tell which part involves DEA and which will involve IRS (IRS in the US also has FIRS + EFCC functions) by the way. Chai. I am sad. |
Segedinho:Notice I have been patient with you because you are not exactly flash upstairs. You are literally talking like someone who is not educated. No offense. Every nation borrows. The issue is not borrowing. The issue is borrowing to pay salaries and during a time you are bragging you have the best economy in the Africa. Now review your screenshot, delete it and look for something better. Meanwhile, the issue with ASUU is not money Buhari personally owes them. Just read up before replying. I am not here to educate people for free. I don't even think Buhari is worth it. |
homesteady:AND is a strong conjunction. It connects factors that are to be taken jointly . This means the court needed 21USC 881(a)(6) AND 18USC 981 to confiscate the money. They could not confiscate the money without both of them being together. 21 USC 881(a)(6) has to do with forfeiture of money, securities or anything that can be used as a legal tender/monetary instrument. Then 18 USC 981 covers amongst others the 1956 code - which encompasses how IRS can be delegated to do the seizing. I now went to the 1956 code to show you IRS gets involved in 2 ways. They are attached with red highlights. Look at what you posted here this time it says either X OR Y. The OR Y part mentions the very same things I am telling you. Either drug trafficking (X) or violation of financial transactions (Y). OR is not AND. Or links alternatives. Which of them (X or Y) will the IRS be involved in? Recall, if it was X, the DEA should have been involved not the IRS. If you don't get it, ask a competent lawyer to explain it to you. #NightNight
|
homesteady:Do you know what AND in the English language signifies? I am not trying to be condescending but I have to ask. |
homesteady:Oh I think I know what you mean. When I say the charge/suit of drug related seizure did not hold I mean it did not hold in court. "Hold" here means that is not what they got him on. |
homesteady:lol you clearly don't know how the law works or what an order is. They cited 2 US codes as the basis of the court order. I attached them. Look at the second citation. It makes reference to the 1956 US code I sent you under which IRS can get involved. It was the IRS that confiscated BATs money. Do you agree? Stop arguing for the sake of arguing.

raumdeuter:If someone wins SHOA elections and becomes rich we should all believe it was his salary that made him rich. Like Zelensky became 500M rich through comedy or Nancy Pelosi is worth 200M due to her 200K a year salary. Some people are just too simple and naive. |
Theflint1:They initially released highlights and absolved FG and NNPC of any wrongdoing. Then everyone said release the whole darn report let us see it. They refused till April 25 2022 after Buhari had won the elections. Remember, they themselves now said don't take our report seriously. Even if people are dealing with recency bias and nostalgia I am here to remind them.

chrisooblog:And after this bomblast (eagle square or UN building I forget which one now) GEJ partied hard. The man was going to International conferences with half of Nigeria on his tab and was known to get so drunk that they'll hire a standby doctor to pump his belly of alcohol. Jonathan the Otuoke drunk. After elections, I'll go back to my archives of his atrocities. |
