etidy: As for the the Blake Griffin vs Draymond debate I won't be too quick to dismiss it.
Griffin may have been the better scorer by a wide margin but Draymond has had the career by far.
I am a Draymond critic, but We should not ignore his brilliance on the defense end. If you look at the totality of his work over the length of his career, He's not just any other good defender, he's amongst the all time greats. He could easily have been 3 DPOY. Injury robbed him of one last season and he controversially lost one to Kawhi. He's the first modern player who could defend 1-5 position effectively while also being an effective rebounder.
He's also the second best ever play maker in his position behind LeBron. That's no small feat.
Blake Griffin was a 6 time all star, Draymond has been selected four times, missing the last one due to injury add it to the team success draymond has had and its really not a walkover for Griffin.
Last of you check their head to head during the clipper vs warriors days. Draymond almost always outplayed and locked up Blake Griffin head to head.
Overall Blake Griffin's offensive skill set wins out but it's not a walkover. There is a debate to be had Draymond Green's basketball IQ is on flick. Clearly one of the most (if not the most) intelligent player of his generation. Draymond Green is shorter Lebron without his offensive game. I hate his big mouth and team-sabotaging antics but I will only place Lebron above him in terms of basketball intelligence. Not Rondo, CP3, Steph etc. |

PDP will win : SS and SE (no matter how narrow)
NE and NC is the battleground.

Quote it after 2023 elections. I already said this. Since NE/NC are the battleground zones, it made sense to counter Atiku's strength there by selecting a NE man with clout. |

homesteady: Lmao. It is clearly stated in the court papers that the $460k is proceeds of narcotics trafficking.
Agent Moss was part of the team that was investigating the laundering of money gotten from drug activities. I guess he was even the head of the team since he is the one testifying. So you trying to minimize his role to just tax is DOA. I have no doubt that BAT was an accomplice in helping to launder money. But I think the person you are debating with is also right in stating that they had no evidence against him just for having huge chunks of money deposited in his account. He was able to explain away 1M USD but knew he could not say much about the 460K so he forfeited it. If the FBI had evidence proving that he was involved, they'll have confiscated the entire 1.46M USD. So technically, the 460K confiscated was like for evading taxes - not for money laundering simply because it wasn't proven in court. |

chrisooblog: Guy that's Tinubu's account of the matter.
This is Buhari's account
https://punchng.com/2015-presidency-buhari-chose-osinbajo-despite-tinubus-pressure/ Paden cannot mention who sent the 3 nominees to the president. For a biographer, that is a huge detail. Then Paden's proof that his claim is true is because BAT, who was privy to the statements in the book prior to its release never challenged that part which is the same way BAT can also claim that when he made the claim in Abeokuta, Buhari's team did not come out to deny it. Professional courtesy or respect for the office of the president can be a reason. Obasanjo did not agree with some insinuations in the biography yet he too refused to challenge it during its launch. |

Android17... Would you call Fernandinho a DLP or a CDM/DM during his time at Etihad. Would you also say Rodri played as a DLP or CDM last season.
I would love to hear you guys humble opinion on this especially as you're the club in question supporter In a nutshell, Rodri is a CDM. He has the passing range and IQ of a DLP but City don't lack creativity so Rodri's role is measured in terms of that. There might be 1 or 2 games last season where he played as a DLP but that is his tertiary function. Fernandinho started out as a box to box midfielder but his role kept adjusting as he aged. |

Itsrm: You have not been following.
I've always maintained that Tinubu will win except a miraculous merger of some sort happens between PDP, LP & NNPP so you might have quoted the wrong person.
What I also believe is that Tinubu has sacrificed his S.West votes for that of the North East.
People like you believe Tinubu will win the S.West with bloc votes regardless of the Muslim Muslim ticket because Christians in the S.West will still vote him. It simply will not happen and that is the reality on ground and not your feelings thousands of miles away. I quoted the right person but I addressed some highlights of some other posts using my reply to you. As for the core of your post, if you believe that, that is fine. I know a lot about Christianity and how it affects politics in Nigeria that it is easy for me to laugh off some posts as wishful, emotion-full and unsubstantiated. In 2014/15, GEJ clearly played the religious card. He was kneeling before Adeboye, Oyedepo etc. Sending emissaries to all and any popular church or man of God. Ayo Oritisejafor got a Jet for his effort. People on pews preached against the islamization of Nigeria. To counter this, Buhari (knowing that he was hopeless in the SE & SS that are predominantly Christian) wanted the SW votes to add to his surefire NW & NE votes. The NC many felt was here and there. In his power move, Buhari opted for a SW Muslim man. It was that Muslim man that will then offer a relatively unknown Christian pastor to be his running mate. What do you suppose was the play behind the move? To pander to a religious catchment or to neutralize GEJs religious card? |

Itsrm: I think APC might have underestimated the current backlash the muslim-muslim ticket is receiving.
If only PO, Kwakwanso and Atiku can just find a way to unite. lol they denied it during the presidential primaries quickly because they knew it could heat up the polity. Then they used a VP placeholder to ease sentimental people in and now it is here. By 2024, people will still be here analyzing how elections were rigged because at that time they'll be fighting to accept that all the sentimental analysis ended in the dustbin. Buhari selected bla bla and lost. You use him as the standard of a man who "understands" Nigeria. Yet he lost. Then you want someone else who wants to win to follow the path of the man who lost. Yet the same people who don't like Buhari's failed govt, want some of his policies to be adopted - even policies that clearly failed. You people have not yet truly accepted if this Muslim vs Muslim is paining you because APC will lose (which should make you happy) or because you know this is a game of chess and BAT moved the right piece in the right way. |

With the backdrops of insecurity and maiming by some islamic-sect group like Boko haram, ISWAP the issues will be magnify during campaign. I doubt APC will pull through with this. Where are similar agitations and complaints to that effect @ PDP? You won't find anything because there is none. onyemaair: The kind delusions wey full una head ehh. E choke. You should even be ashamed of yourself for trying to praise a politician that is a key part of a failed system that all Nigerians are suffering. If I ask you what makes Tinubu a "fine politician" , I'm sure you would start talking about his godfatherism and how he has "made men". To which I would now ask you, those men he made, what have they done to make nigeria better? Are those men not part of the criminal cabal that partake in the looting and impoverishing of your fellow Nigerians? In comparison to other politicians worldwide, how do you rate the ethical and leadership practices of these "made men"?
In short, how have you benefitted from the criminals that this man made?
The politician I am supporting right now has not taken a SINGLE PENNY from the state coffers since he left office. That alone is enough to set him out as an examplary politician. Meanwhile yours is a drug pusher who was arrested and wanted for illegal activities and you come here and tell me "finest politician". Onye ara. I never told you I supported BAT. Although from my analysis, he will most likely win the coming elections. That is my prediction, what is your issue with that? Why the invective? I'm sure you stay in the SW. Ask church members around if they would vote for the finest politician running alongside a Muslim.
Let's see how disunited Christianity really is[/color] Twitter is proof that even within Living Faith, some people will not comply with Oyedepo's political directives. So I don't need to ask church members. I lived in the SW when I was in Nigeria and if you are familiar with some of my posts you will know that I am quite conversant with Christianity and its tenets in Nigeria. Believe me. Majority of the most popular men of God will support a PO candidacy under the guise of APC presenting muslim v Muslim candidates. However, when the voting is actually done and counted they too will realize how divided their churches are. RCCG is dependent on what part of Nigeria or city you enter do you agree, why? |

If the Christian community allow this to sail through it means subsequent contestants can run on the same muslim/muslim and others will take the notch up by Hausa/Hausa, Yoruba/yoruba, Igbo/Igbo as long as they have machinery to rig others out. Unfortunately in the Nigerian context that's where the positives end. Southern christians will most definitely not be having it. Not sure how Tinubu will be able to get 70% in the SW when more than half of the electorate are christians but we will see.
Peter Obi had better eat humble pie and drop down for Atiku, because divided votes might still play into BAT's favour. Like Shettima like El-Rufai but the latter is hated by Christian ministers more than the former. As for SW and voting, stop calculating SW with religion in mind. It won't play any role. That is an APC stronghold and they will win it. It does not involve too much calculations and analysis. Their best move was still to mirror Atiku and neutralize his strength. Shettima is from the NE like Atiku amongst other things, I think that was their angle. I just have a strange feeling the whole politicking ain't over. Something dramatic will happen. I feel it. |
