Griffin may have been the better scorer by a wide margin but Draymond has had the career by far.

I am a Draymond critic, but We should not ignore his brilliance on the defense end. If you look at the totality of his work over the length of his career, He's not just any other good defender, he's amongst the all time greats.
He could easily have been 3 DPOY. Injury robbed him of one last season and he controversially lost one to Kawhi.
He's the first modern player who could defend 1-5 position effectively while also being an effective rebounder.

He's also the second best ever play maker in his position behind LeBron. That's no small feat.

Blake Griffin was a 6 time all star, Draymond has been selected four times, missing the last one due to injury add it to the team success draymond has had and its really not a walkover for Griffin.

Last of you check their head to head during the clipper vs warriors days. Draymond almost always outplayed and locked up Blake Griffin head to head.

Overall Blake Griffin's offensive skill set wins out but it's not a walkover. There is a debate to be had

Draymond Green's basketball IQ is on flick. Clearly one of the most (if not the most) intelligent player of his generation. Draymond Green is shorter Lebron without his offensive game. I hate his big mouth and team-sabotaging antics but I will only place Lebron above him in terms of basketball intelligence. Not Rondo, CP3, Steph etc.

In a nutshell, Rodri is a CDM. He has the passing range and IQ of a DLP but City don't lack creativity so Rodri's role is measured in terms of that. There might be 1 or 2 games last season where he played as a DLP but that is his tertiary function.

Fernandinho started out as a box to box midfielder but his role kept adjusting as he aged.

In 2014/15, GEJ clearly played the religious card. He was kneeling before Adeboye, Oyedepo etc. Sending emissaries to all and any popular church or man of God. Ayo Oritisejafor got a Jet for his effort. People on pews preached against the islamization of Nigeria.

To counter this, Buhari (knowing that he was hopeless in the SE & SS that are predominantly Christian) wanted the SW votes to add to his surefire NW & NE votes. The NC many felt was here and there. In his power move, Buhari opted for a SW Muslim man. It was that Muslim man that will then offer a relatively unknown Christian pastor to be his running mate.

What do you suppose was the play behind the move? To pander to a religious catchment or to neutralize GEJs religious card?

You are right. I meant to say that Buhari had a SE running mate and that Ojukwu had his own SE party but neither benefitted significantly from the SE for that. I also think Buhari and Ojukwu had some opposition rapport in 2003. Ojukwu Jnr re-echoed that in 2017 or so.

Majority of the most popular men of God will support a PO candidacy under the guise of APC presenting muslim v Muslim candidates. However, when the voting is actually done and counted they too will realize how divided their churches are.

RCCG is dependent on what part of Nigeria or city you enter do you agree, why?

If the Christian community allow this to sail through it means subsequent contestants can run on the same muslim/muslim and others will take the notch up by Hausa/Hausa, Yoruba/yoruba, Igbo/Igbo as long as they have machinery to rig others out. It is finished for them. There are soo many yoruba Christians like Abioye, oyedepo, kumuyi, Adeboye, ibiyomie that will never stand for it.
These people would use their pulpit to preach against it constantly like never before and it has to pointed out that Nigerian politics is the number one trending thing now.

The way people are getting involved now is more than it has ever been. The average young person before did not care one bit about politicians but numerous people are now getting involved. Things have changed.

If you truly believed this you won't be repeating it. What you are wondering is the implications of having a Muslim Muslim Presidency from a party you hate the most and then using that disdain from your introspection to predict the election outcome.

Buhari selected a Pastor in 2011 - Tunde Bakare. Picked almighty Ojukwu in 2003 and SE did not vote for him.

PDP Almost unanimously supported Atiku even after another muslim Northerner had been in office for 8 years and nobody saw anything wrong in it.

Unfortunately in the Nigerian context that's where the positives end. Southern christians will most definitely not be having it. Not sure how Tinubu will be able to get 70% in the SW when more than half of the electorate are christians but we will see.

Peter Obi had better eat humble pie and drop down for Atiku, because divided votes might still play into BAT's favour.

Like Shettima like El-Rufai but the latter is hated by Christian ministers more than the former.

As for SW and voting, stop calculating SW with religion in mind. It won't play any role. That is an APC stronghold and they will win it. It does not involve too much calculations and analysis.

Their best move was still to mirror Atiku and neutralize his strength. Shettima is from the NE like Atiku amongst other things, I think that was their angle.
