Bakare kicked against subsidy removal in the past but his manifesto this year was to remove subsidy.

Nigerians were generally in support of subsidy removal, the issue with Jonathan's govt was that things had worsened under him to an unmanageable level, there was zero accountability such that marketers got paid billions without importing a drop of refined crude products, Jonathan wanted to abruptly remove it completely without setting palliatives in place to cushion the effect of such a removal and Nigerians did not trust any of the people he appointed in position to execute this project.

Don't forget too that this same Tunde Bakare, under the Save Nigeria Group fought for Jonathan to be sworn in as acting president when Yar Adua was sick and incapacitated.

So being a Muslim and northern is an advantage to Atiku but a disadvantage to Shettima or what again?

Yes. In 2019 Buhari a Muslim, Atiku a Muslim, Kingsley Moghalu, Chris Okotie etc were on the ballot. The "church" told people to vote Atiku. One mighty man of God even said "a Thief is better than a Killer" even though the same Bible equated Steal=Kill=Destroy. Which means the Thief=Killer. Yet they did not vote for their own brother Chris Okotie of Fresh Democratic Party.

It is clear that most of those "ministers" are fanooks but it does not mean they were hired hands. Each of them could actually have had ministries even though what goes on behind the scenes is nothing to write home about. What most people won't accept is that is what the "church" in Nigeria is like and they are the same ones who will vote. I have warned you people doing your analysis to also factor that the church itself is divided.
