DissTroyer: The issue is the ficklenéss of Tunde Bakare's stance. The stance is subsidy: removal or not.
Bakare kicked against subsidy removal in the past but his manifesto this year was to remove subsidy. So you cannot gainsay or refute any of the inconvenient facts, right? Logic stays undefeated. That is the issue with people who buy into their own hype; When you give them Google drive for all of their talk they still can't back it up. |

Why some of us campaigned against GEJ, and his Obi economy team?!
"I can clearly see why reasonable people are worried. Everywhere else in the world, government performance on the economy is measured by some outcome variables such as: income (GDP growth rate), stability of prices (inflation and exchange rate), unemployment rate, poverty rate, etc. On all these scores, this government has performed worse than its immediate predecessor— Obasanjo regime. If we appropriately adjust for oil income and debt, then this government is the worst in our history on the economy. All statistics are from the National Bureau of Statistics."

One of those present took the satire to some level by comparing Jonathan to the ‘performance’ of the former Governor of Anambra, Peter Obi. He noted that while Obi gloated about ‘savings’, there is no signature project to remember his regime except that his regime took the first position among all states in Nigeria in the democratization of poverty—- mass impoverishment of the people of Anambra. . According to the National Bureau of Statistics, poverty rose under his watch in Anambra from 20% in 2004 (lowest in Nigeria then) to 68% in 2010 (a 238% deterioration!).

Facts are facts.
Bakare swore and fought against subsidy removal - this year his manifesto was to remove subsidy removals.
Facts are facts. Revisionism is always lost on me. Trying to take back what you said or deny your past is dishonesty. I am happy you said facts are facts twice as it will be the same fact adduced as evidence towards your own argument. i. Tunde Bakare fought against subsidy removal in Jonathan's government. If you throw away the highlighted that is not a fact, right? ii. Tunde Bakare also fought for Jonathan to become president right? Is that not a fact? If both statements are facts, and are exactly what I posited, your bloviations are therefore surplus to requirement. Do us all a favor;

DissTroy: The same Bakare who, in 2012, was at the forefront of the campaign of calumny against GEJ who proposed removing fuel subsidy campaigned this year as part of his manifesto to remove fuel subsidy - the very removal which he campaigned against.
https://www.thecable.ng/thecable-qa-ill-do-transparent-and-phased-removal-of-subsidy-says-bakare/amp Nigerians were generally in support of subsidy removal, the issue with Jonathan's govt was that things had worsened under him to an unmanageable level, there was zero accountability such that marketers got paid billions without importing a drop of refined crude products, Jonathan wanted to abruptly remove it completely without setting palliatives in place to cushion the effect of such a removal and Nigerians did not trust any of the people he appointed in position to execute this project. Don't forget too that this same Tunde Bakare, under the Save Nigeria Group fought for Jonathan to be sworn in as acting president when Yar Adua was sick and incapacitated. |

Zidane's peak is viewed higher than Debruyne's and should be since he was WPOTY at least 2 times and Debruyne has never been. However, in terms of footballing skills, Debruyne has more of them than Zidane. His shooting technique is better, is more ambidextrous, quicker, scores and assists more, defends better, presses better, crosses better, has slightly better vision. Zidane on the other hand is clearly the better dribbler and more press-resistant. |

Has the Church been presented with a Muslim Muslim ticket since 1999?

PS: I was born in 2006. I have no idea what happened in the past[/color] Yes. In 2019 Buhari a Muslim, Atiku a Muslim, Kingsley Moghalu, Chris Okotie etc were on the ballot. The "church" told people to vote Atiku. One mighty man of God even said "a Thief is better than a Killer" even though the same Bible equated Steal=Kill=Destroy. Which means the Thief=Killer. Yet they did not vote for their own brother Chris Okotie of Fresh Democratic Party. |

It is clear that most of those "ministers" are fanooks but it does not mean they were hired hands. Each of them could actually have had ministries even though what goes on behind the scenes is nothing to write home about. What most people won't accept is that is what the "church" in Nigeria is like and they are the same ones who will vote. I have warned you people doing your analysis to also factor that the church itself is divided. |
