Why don't u just listen to your daft self! Is that all u have to contribute to the topic?
PurestBoy:
Hi Nurexg, you don't need to feel sorry for your statement because I dey your back Kampe. It's true Nigerian girls are too dull. They will not participate in political discussion. They only love monetary discussion with the aim of drilling hole in your pocket. Tufiakwa
Who knows what kind of cheap prostitutes u hang out with?!

lol, u are wasting your talent o. u should try stand up comedy!

but if all the scammers are killed like u wish they would, who will u give 100k to help u get visa now? grin
PoliticsRe: How To Stop 419? by angel101(f): 4:54pm On Jun 28, 2007
u and ur fellow 'victims' no know where british high commission dey? I am still laughing o! what a stupid con that u fell for. U must be so timid grin cheesy cheesy
eiya, i'm sure u are crying now cry no worry take heart. try another visa vendor. u might be lucky this time. grin
PoliticsRe: How To Stop 419? by angel101(f): 4:47pm On Jun 28, 2007
u are directing ur rage at the wrong person love, no be me say make u go attempt to buy visa now. lol who cares where u are living? u can be in space for all i care! the fact remains that if u cut corners surely u will meet ur waterloo one day. at least now u know that. he he cheesy cheesy
Foreign AffairsRe: Bye Bye Tony Blair by angel101(f): 4:44pm On Jun 28, 2007
From ur break down, what he will get off the govt is 384k his pension is what he has been contributing to all his working life which everyone gets not just the PM. as for the speeches, anyone can ask to be paid to make a speech. it has nothing to do with the british govt. even the likes of paris hilton, Jade, jordan and co get paid for interviews so hey! and the book well noneed for me to go into that. make the man no do biz?
PoliticsRe: On Al-mustafa by angel101(f): 4:39pm On Jun 28, 2007

PoliticsRe: How To Stop 419? by angel101(f): 4:37pm On Jun 28, 2007
LOL!! u are too funny. cos am already in diaspora. I didnt buy my visa u know. anyway seriously, take one minute to evaluate what u did and u will agree that u have some blame in the matter. most actually. tell me, have u ever applied for a visa urself? what makes u think u cant get it by ur own merit?
I still maintain that as long as we try to cut corners, this menace will remain with us. Imagine if these people have no one patronising them (like i am advocating) who will they have to 'play?' Lets face facts now, the customers (those who patronise them) are the ones keeping the scam going.
Its a bitter pill to swallow but u need to swallow it and move on. u were trying to collaborate with the guy to commit fraud. i dont think anyone will praise u for that.

PoliticsRe: How To Stop 419? by angel101(f): 2:12pm On Jun 28, 2007
LOL!!
so u were trying to obtain a visa through the back door? that is the problem now, until people decide to do things the right way, 419 will not stop. the people who get 'played' (as u put it) by these guys are mostly those who want to cut corners one way or another. afterall u must know the british high commission web site which clearly displays their requirements and also states clearly that u must not patronise touts.
my brother count your losses and move on joo. that your case no get head.  grin

I'm sure you too intelligent to have such a naive thought system as to think that Tony Blair is very popular now or is nearly as popular as he was some years ago.
however intelligent u are, u would know that he is by no means 'the most unpopular PM in british history'. which is the comment i reacted to.
Foreign AffairsRe: Bye Bye Tony Blair by angel101(f): 12:05pm On Jun 28, 2007
JustGood:
Do you know how much labour lost in the last general elections and the last scottish elections as well? what planet are you on?

As I asked, what planet are you on? Politicians are not hardened enemies. They are professionals and they realise that the purpose is to get into power. How many of those politicians applauded him before he stood down? Every politician who has ruled this country gets extolled if they have not caused any calamity.

I'm sure you too intelligent to have such a naive thought system as to think that Tony Blair is very popular now or is nearly as popular as he was some years ago.
Did labour win the election or not?

@angel101

Oh, so Tony Blair caught a train after leaving office? OBJ got caught in traffic when he left office.
OBJ was cught in traffic. was he on keke napep? as that is the public transport he provided for nigerians.

denex:
@angel101

caught a train and you fell for that scheme?
What is there to fall for? At least he is happy to pay his own way with whatever he earns (600k a day according to u) not fleecing the populace of whatever pittance has been left behind like ur OBJ. TB may have supported Blair at least he was man enough to stand by what he believed and has also been man enough to admit that he may have made mistakes but he did all he did in good faith and guess what, i believe him. Alot more than u can say for OBJ. y am i even joining u to compare TOny with OBJ when there is obviously no basis for comparism?!

The generality of the British public do not like him and that's a fact even confirmed by the election results.
The election he won? or which election are u talkking about?

JustGood:
Getting a standing ovation in parliament from politicians does not count for popularity. They are all politicains in the same profession and they don't hate each other.
No doubt they are all politicians are they all labour party members also? If they hated him so much at least the opposition would boo.

Jesus Christ! I just found out that as ex-Prime Minister, he gets a total package that amounts to almost GBP900,000 annually (N225,000,000). Kai! How much was earning them, when he was Prime Minister? Nigeria is terrible O! Our own president is managing a measley GBP12,000 (N3,000,000) annually, and we want to kill him.

Please does anyone know whether a non-British citizen can become Prime Minister?
That is more than enough until they stop robbing us blind!  grin
besides u can't compare the cost of living here to that in Nigeria plus in Nigeria they get all sorts of benefits in and out of office. I don't believe thats the case here. Tony Blair yesterday caught a train to Sedgefield (his constituency) within hours of standing down as PM. That can hardly be said of OBJ. thats of course assuming ur story is correct. I have no idea.

lol grin are you in the same country as me? very few brits will miss him, do you watch or listen to the news at all. He is the most unpopular labour PM ever grin
But i liked him, like i said very few people like him, the reason many black like him, is because they do not want to ever face a country run by conservatives, it will mean bad news, lets not confuse this with the general public loving the man grin
So unpopular he got a standing ovation at the house of commons yesterday and praise from Cameron?!
If u do not like him thats fine. not everybody does. but to say he is unpopular is a mis representation of facts. wink

@dblock

By the way, I don't think the constitution rules him out. He's a minister for God sake. He can be there for 20 years if incoming governments think he's doing well.
Exactly what i thot. He isnt a gov so number of tenures do not come into play.

why should it be stated for girls only? believe it or not, a lot of people on this forum are serious minded and as such do not need to put up silly gimmicks to make their topics seem interesting. I'm sure u know there is already a topic regarding the sale of the refineries so it was silly of u to duplicate the post and add 'for girsl only'. worse is even ur attempt to justify it.

I actually think we r reading d situation wrongly. We r forgetting that yar Adua's style is different & people under him must adjust accordingly. I suspect the crooks are being given a false sense of security 2 enable them cough out the loot before the strike.
It is foolhardy to call the tiger weak because it's first steps towards the prey are slow.
There shall b a lot of surprises - even the foxy obj is wary of this tiger & not fooled. Watch people
I hope u're right.

I beg to disagree with u. while i agree that Ribadu was selective in dealing with corruption, i believe he did the job to best of his ability. Abi u go do pass wetin ur master send u? he was acting on instructions and could not do otherwise. EFCC was not an independent body. shikena!
