Education / Re: Nigerians In University Of Ghana by angel101(f): 12:31pm On Nov 14, 2007
Is nigeria being blamed for the fact that the ghanaian VC accepts bribe? or for the fact that a nigerian student in the ghanaian uni was stabbed to death in the course of being robbed? or for the fact that the school authorities have failed in their responsibility to police the school and its students.

Nigeria has failed in the same aspects no doubt but alsoi think people should take responsibilities for their own short comings
Romance / Re: Is It Really Right For Me To Marry My Cousin by angel101(f): 11:28am On Nov 14, 2007
morally it is not right.
biblically it is not right.
medically it is nor right ( cos if u have children, there is a posibility that the will have genetic disorders) this is medically proven and strongly discouraged in the western world.

Politics / Re: Will You Vote Or Not For Ibb? by angel101(f): 11:05am On Nov 14, 2007
Is this supposed to be a comparison btwn obj and ibb? well obj cannot rule this country again so i wouldnt bother about him.

for those who say u cannot compare military rule to civilian i agree and that shows me even moreso that ibb is unfit to rule this country again. in a military rule, the head of state could very well take unilateral decisions which he did to the detriment of the country. what more good can he possibly do now when he needs the support of the house.

@bigb1 u seem to know some facts that we dont. thats fair enough just dont try to force it down our throats ok.

Kobojunkie:

I do have a question for you Purist. Please provide us with proof that this is not just the usual we have gotten from past governors in that state?? I mean I do not know if you have been there for the past 10 before him but the song you just sang sounds exactly same as what they all came in with and did but all left accomplishing nothing in the end. What has actually been done??

The diff this time is that the gov is involving the private sector i.e private investors build operate and transfer. that in my opinion should ensure a proper job and limit fraud as it will only be in the interest of the investors to do so.

chidichris:

Denex,
if scotland is still slave to britain and nigeria is free, then i must inform you here that i preffer slavery to freedom.
if as a slave, u have freedom in all areas of life, you have security, basic things of life and justice for all then why fighting to be free. if u are going to be free then from who and for what?
nigeria is a sad news and the truth of the matter is benin republic is more qualified to host any international tournament than nigeria.
have u asked yourself, how many of our cities are accessable by roads or are u going to risk people's lives flying our local flights. do u think most people especially the westerners know what black out is most importantly when they are part of life. i don't know how old u are but 1999 world cup shld have been used against nigeria for any bidding attempt.
well if the westerners try anything funny by giving nigeria the chance, i will then go back to look for oyibo to kidnap so that i will get big money to release the oyibo. this is to inform u that kidnappers will smile if the white say they are coming to Nigeria for games.
we surposed to be fined by the organisers for bidding when we do not have electricity.

This is where the talk of slavery started. It wasnt Afam

Big B1:

Ibori was responsible for more than 80% of Yar'Adua election expense. I just don't see much coming out of this case.
Stalemate and a big ZERO at the end of the day.

Unfortunately, this seems soooo true.
I give up!

olanajim:

Why is it that in Nigeria, when a big man is about to run into trouble or is in trouble, the building housing evident of his crime will be gutted by mysterous fire? This kind of cover up had become regular in Nigeria. Will somebody burn Aso Rock one day to cover his crime?

I wonder the same o. This should almost have been expected.

This one hard o!

stellose:

you love yourselves, so sit down as one and put an end to the in coming letters.
for the love you have bestored on one another ,divorce is not the answer ok please.
the wedding ring is a continues process ,it has no cut edge, let love and trust be your watch word. peace my brother

my dear judging from the guys post it is not obvious wether or not his wife loves him. It also does not seem like she has bestowed much love on him now. Also the trust seems to have been betrayed.

I do not think that marriage should be a life sentence. whats the point remaining in a bad marriage. That is not to say that i am advising u to leave ur wife. But that option cannot be ruled out. Only u can reach that decision though. my advise is stay in the marriage only if u are happy. dont remain to save face or fulfill all righteousness.
Romance / Re: Should I Marry For Love Or Stability? by angel101(f): 3:45pm On Nov 13, 2007
@ poster
marriage is (or is meant to be) a life time committment. so I would be very careful getting into it if I were u. There is no reason y u should settle for less. If u do not find this man attractive how do u expect to put up with him in the not so good times e.g when he is ill as he definitely will be from time to time. Would u draw up a roaster for intimacy in the marriage? U have no reason to feel bad. Love or affection cannot be forced. we dont choose who we fall in love with u know. There is no need to go into something that u cannot sustain. If u are not attracted to him, let him go. u will surely find another.
