Why will Yaradua not adopt such policy when he has chosen nigeria's biggest thief as his chief of staff. Yes IBB is his chief of staff because he seeks all his advice from Mina. (Forget Abdulahi Mohamed, that one only exists on paper)
besides his campaign benefitted immensely from another big thief Ibori.
PoliticsRe: Calabar: Missplaced Project by angel101(f): 4:22pm On Jun 25, 2007
No dear u can only speak for urself! u certainly cant speak for the rest of nigeria.
i have asked u, ur precious yaradua was a gov along with Duke. y didnt he treat his cattarh in hospitals he built?
PoliticsRe: Calabar: Missplaced Project by angel101(f): 4:05pm On Jun 25, 2007
Not forgetting of course that Yaradua was also a state governor at the time of his cattarh problem. and the same goes for all others mentioned. they were all in positions of power and as such have only themselves to blame. na duke go build hospital for them?

Once again u amuse me. i am truly having an exciting afternoon. thanks very much!

But situations where everything that has gone bad with the country is laid on the doorstep of the North is absolute nonsense.
That is exactly what u did when u agreed that all fraud committed abroad is by southerners.

u never cease to amuse me. I wonder where u get all these your wierd and extreme ideas from. have u been to the state to see the state of their hospitals?

will the armed robbery have stopped without tinapa? or tinapa is making people more prone to food poisoning? I beg girl stop the ranting!

Car TalkRe: Must A Nigerian Guy Have A Car Before A Lady Agrees To Go Out With Him? by angel101(f): 2:48pm On Jun 25, 2007
Back to the topic, contrary to what a few people have expressed here, it is easier for peope to go out without a car in the western world than in Nigeria. I would say it is all about feasibility. In the western world for instance, having a car in no way represents ones financial standing. That aside, public transport (in most of Europe) is fairly decent and reliable, it ia also easy to call a cab at any time of the day or night.
so personally, here in England, i can afford to date a guy who does not have a car but in Nigeria i dont see that happening cos it will be almost impossible to get around though i can drive him in my car if he doesnt mind. But facing facts, i dont think a man who does not have a car will have the courage to chase me. grin

vigasimple:
It occurrs to me that what the gals are saying on this site is representative of majority and it is sad reflection of the world today. it has been like that before I was born and it will continue to be like that. As a general rule our ladies can be very shallow, materilalistic and only live for today, ain't the love that counts but the greenbacks and sterling or naira.
This is very unecessary and is not even a fact. To state in such generality that women are shallow is not only senseless, it makes U shallow!
Let me ask u this. Would u marry a girl who was economically a burden? or marry a woman who was crap in bed? or marry a woman who could not keep a house? or forgive your wife for having an affair? the list is endless. whereas women are most likely to overlook many of these things.
Ask (particularly) Nigerian men what they look for in a partner and u would be amazed. some even go as far as wanting a woman who dresses a certain way! In my opinion, if I am to generalize i would say it is men who are shallow but there is no point going down that lane because it boils down to the individual at the end of the day.

Yes, LAWFULLY! while i totally comend Duke and dont think any other gov can hold a candle on him, i think this particular portion of ur statement is incredibly flawed! We must never encourage or excuse crime if we are truly interested in moving the nation forward.

McKren:
But FCT has a minister already in the person of Engr Al-Hassan

Yaradua should not waste South East slot on Uba, it is like making Adedibu a minister. If PDP loves these fellows too much they should offer them appointments within the PDP not Nigeria.
I second that

They should just let all of them roam at large for the next 2 years before tackling their matter one by one.

Except Luck of course. Lucky Igbinedion must be quarantined and dealt with ASAP. Since the state money used in celebrating his father's birthday for complete 8 years cannot be recovered, we could try to convert 80% shares in Igbinedion University and Independent Television. Afterall, it's state funds that have developed those in the past 8 years.
I seriously doubt that ur suggestion will be feasible cos I know for a fact that in Nigeria things are quickly forgotten and important events over taken by new intrigues which creep up avey single day!
Much as i totally Loathe Lucky Igbinedion for what he has done to my state, why would u advocate double standards in dealing with the issue of corruption among the govs? Lucky most certainly should be dealt with ASAP and same with all others!

LOL! I feel your pain man. Well as for me, i have decided to resign myself to fate with matters conserning Nigeria. All i will do from now on is sit back and watch.
After the strike scenario that has just been played out, i fear there is little or no hope for this generation of Nigerians. Very sad indeed!
PoliticsRe: What A Shame To Nigeria As Andy Uba Nominated As Fct Minister by angel101(f): 9:09am On Jun 25, 2007
I cant believe it! if this is true, then i'm afraid Yaradua is up to no good.
